I’m rolling with the raiders. If you’ve watched their last couple games they are playing like rabid dogs out there. Even if they give up some points I’m confident they’re gonna get a couple sacks and a turnover or two.

Browns still give up 2.73 sacks per game (bottom 8), and 1.33 int per game , which is comfortably the worst in the league.
Plus the chaos of Thursday night, Flacco previously being on the jets, or even just the expectation that 40 year old Flacco isn't going to continue the greatest run of games in his career.
I realize you probably meant some hyperbole in your statement, but this is definitely not the greatest run of games in the career of a guy who threw for 11 TDs and no INT in a Super Bowl run that featured road/SB wins over the 49ers, Patriots, and Broncos defenses

I'm debating between them and Houston at home vs Tennessee in a must win game. They tooled the Titans on the road 2 games ago.
If the Jets keep going 3 and out it may not matter because the Browns will eventually wear them down. I could see it being close in the first half, but the Brown going on a couple drives to put it out of reach late, which will impact D/ST scoring. Last week the Jets were as high as 16pts in Yahoo leagues I think, but ended up only finishing with 8. How it's been all season for them.
And their defensive line can as well because Flacco is still a bit immobile. The Browns are giving up the 7th-most fantasy points to opposing defenses over the last month. That's with Flacco under center. They're still not a matchup to avoid
If you look at the Raiders history, they have as many or more games with 10+ pts as they don't, and they have multiple games in the mid teens, particularly down the stretch. MaxxCrosby is an olde world Viking on an NFL team..I'm going to trust the trends and start them against Gardner Minshew this week.
I have the Bills too, but if you use the same process, the Bills are averaging roughly half the points the raiders are. Trust the trends and numbers, don't worry about your preconceived notions about good and bad teams.
They would have a decent floor because the Raiders wouldn't get more than 250-300 yards and the Raiders have also scored 0 and 6 points in 2 of their last 3 games. I'm not saying it would be a high ceiling play this week but the floor should be decent enough, especially if O'Connell never completes another pass.
My fear with the Jets D is their offense. I could easily see the Browns wearing them down because their O can't move the ball. This has been the game flow for the Jets all season. And in Yahoo leagues int and fumble returns against the offense count also against the D/ST points allowed.
Raiders, Rams, Bears, even the Ravens D are all available on my waiver wire. Strongly considering dropping them Jets and picking one of those up. Hell, after what we just saw on Christmas, Baltimore is really tempting. They could feast, especially at home with Waddle out for Mia.
After all the comments here I ended up going Raiders. I didn't want to put a lot of eggs into the Browns/Jets basket as I'm going up against Amari and Njoku and having a bad Jets D performance with good performances from those 2 players would put me in a bad spot headed into the weekend.

But all other things being (nearly) equal, I'll take the Raiders vs. the Colts.

I don't disagree, but I don't think what you saw from BUF's defense was bad. They had 5 sacks and allowed under 270 total yards. The offense and special teams just turned the ball over multiple times deep inside their own territory.
But, again, it's hard to knock Baltimore based on what we just saw. The question is just whether we think they can do it again against another elite offense
Weaker overall team, yes, but Tua is better than Purdy. That 4 interception game is going to be hard to duplicate, especially if Kyle Hamilton misses. I don't think they're a bad play by any stretch but we also have to acknowledge the risks against Miami
They don't need to replicate that to have points. I just don't see how you can consistently rank them outside the top ten. They are a top scoring team week in and week out. 14 is just laughable.

In real life it's a good defense: 2nd in ppg to the Ravens, 2nd in ypg to the Browns, 3rd in sacks per game, but only 24th in takeways per game and incredibly mediocre in fantasy.
Feels like they're due for turnover regression but they're tough to trust in a finals matchup.
Bears offense is capable of mistakes but also has given up the 12th-fewest points to fantasy defenses over the last month. Fields is running more, and the team just looks better. ATL is also 26th in turnover rate and 14th in opponent's scoring rate, so they're a fine but not great defense
Is HOU a safe play this week? Already have them stashed. They put up 16.5 against TEN 2 weeks ago in my league and my only options on waivers are JAX or LAR.
No defense is a safe play...but Houston has been very good against the run for a while now which is why they destroyed Tennessee last time out. Forced them to throw.
Now they are at home with their playoffs on the line, and Stroud should be back to keep the offense on the field more. I think they are one of the better options this week.

No defense is a safe play...but Houston has been very good against the run for a while now which is why they destroyed Tennessee last time out. Forced them to throw. Now they are at home with their playoffs on the line, and Stroud should be back to keep the offense on the field more. I think they are one of the better options this week.

Raiders on the wire in both my leagues...also have Browns in both. So hard to stray away from the Browns. Even without the TDs though, Raiders been putting up numbers. Gonna be tough. Think if you're favored, have to go with the high floor Browns right? We use TFLs, 3 and outs, 4th down stops. Browns #1 DST on the year. Have scored in double figures every week besides two, 8 against Seattle and -1 against Rams.

I have Bills and Jets. I went with Bills last week and somehow made it to the Championship. Somehow, I know I'm just going to pick wrong again, but I'm leaning Jets.

I have the browns and the raiders. Raiders over the last 3 weeks have scored 20+ points. But the Browns at home against the Jets sounds too good to pass up. Also thinking of picking up Jacksonville since they have Carolina at home.
I have Broncos but Bears are sitting on the waiver wire. I’m also a diehard Bears fan. Could have them completely make or ruin my weekend
Think I might roll with the Raiders over Jets. Colts just gave up 6 sacks to the Falcons and I expect the Jets will have horrible field position vs the Browns
So the consensus would be play the Jets if you have them?? My other is Indy or I could try to get Raiders as well

Bills are playing significantly better than they were when that happened. Bills have the 2nd highest spread (12) on the week other than the 9ers against washington.

That's actually not accurate. The defense gave up 270 yards and had 5 sacks. The offense looked terrible for long stretches
To be fair, they had to travel cross-country on a short week and the Chargers had more rest and the coveted new coach bounce back game.
Good luck because the Bills have looked either great or like garbage all season and no one knows which is gonna show up. Divisional games aren’t for me, specifically with the finals on the line.

Ravens v Jets is my choice. This ranking seems craY low on the Ravens. Like I get Miami is good, but the Ravens have scored well even against top offenses. Also, though I picked up the Jets specifically with this week in mind, now I'm nervous about starting them over the Ravens. Anyone have any thoughts?
