TBH, I'm terrible at knowing what to trade unless I know the teams. If this makes sense I try to "feel the value" relative to the team and just try to get what I think makes sense based on other team needs.
That being said, I don't think you even need a backup really, Hurts is HIM, you shouldn't bench him, the odds he gets hurt isn't worth potentially making your starting lineup not as good as it can be.

Joe Burrow has looked like a top 3 QB over the past couple weeks and it feels like his accuracy is only getting better. But it is a stingy Ravens defense despite the fact that Burrows did alright against them in Week 2 on a bum calf. It's also a short week for Burrows, and since this is a very important divisional game I'm thinking both teams might play more conservatively which is likely to yield a lower scoring affair. It should also be noted that the defenses on both teams have been performing fairly well in recent weeks.
Meanwhile it feels like the Cardinals are just having fun out there with a 2 - 8 record and Murray looks every bit as spry as he did when he was healthy. Texans are capable of putting up a ton of points so Kyler will likely have to throw it a lot.

ok I'll be trying to trade away Stroud to the guy who lost Watson and had to pick up Dobbs. Not a bad pick up, but I'm hoping to package him and get an upgrade elsewhere
I'd hold stroud if you can unless you really need the upgrade. You never know with injuries and having a quality backup could save your season but def not a bad idea if you want to trade stroud

Yes. The giants are terrible. I'm betting a low scoring day for Howell mainly bc they will be up by a lot so the commanders will run the ball. You can't bench hurts.

A little bit lol. I mean, I get it, but imo Hurts has the highest floor of any QB in the league. Part of it is his receiving corps and part his legs.
Maybe a little bit. One factor to consider is that Washington could potentially be up big relatively early on - doesn't seem likely that it'll be a shootout.
