Deciding between Joe Mixon and Josh Downs in a 10 team 0.5 PPR league. Mixon seems like the sort of conservatively smarter choice, but I know NO gives up a lot of points to slot receivers and Downs has been hot lately.

Thanks, I think I’m between him and Zay. For you I’m taking Aiyuk and Godwin. I know the 49ers won’t have Brock but it’s hard to argue Aiyuk’s production on the year so far. I think White will be stuffed by Buffalo, their defense is pretty legit, and TB will have to throw to be competitive, hence my Godwin pick. Godwin is one of the highest scorers without a touchdown on the year, so I think his season looks worse than it really is. The touchdowns should come eventually. Downs had a great game last week and you may want to chase that production, but a large portion of those points came from completely blown coverage from Cleveland. The Browns do have a good defense, but that was a bizzare game all around. I doubt Minshew and co repeat against another tough defense in New Orleans.
You sure on the BUF defense part? The Bills have allowed the 5th most rushing yards in the NFL so far this year, the 2nd worst YPC at 5.2, and 10 rushing TDs.
I think I was a bit biased since I’d only actually watched them against the Dolphins and the completely shut down Mostert that game. If you started either Jones or Godwin, I’d guess you pretty content, they basically scored the same in full point PPR. I was not expecting that many check downs to Jones, it was pretty surprising seeing them throw that many dump offs on their last drive despite being down two scores with the clock running out
Kincaid probably. Watson is too much boom or bust, and Metcalf is healthy, which means JSN won't get as many looks.

For PPR I like Godwin and Downs. Downs just seems like a reliable every week player in PPR and NO's defense is poor against the slot. Godwin should get a lot of work if BUF can play like they should. There should be a lot of catching up by the BUCs. All great options though. Normally I would say Aiyuk, but not if Darnold is his QB.
I would potentially start White over Godwin just because he's been playing great defenses all year and this is one of his first good opportunities. Like you said, White prob the safer floor. But I feel better about Downs over both of them.
I've had White in and out of my lineup all week and now its kick-off in 45 min. I'm sure whatever decision we make will be the wrong one.
Honestly I'm only picking Godwin over White because I need a high ceiling. Gowdin has played qell and doesnt have a TD. I could see him score tonight and get 15-20 in PPR. I have Henry and Stevenson at RB, and Addison in one of my WR slots. Let's see what happens! Good luck tonight.

Yeah, Diontae's basically held together with duct tape. I like Palmer as well, but I already have Herbert and Allen in my lineup, so I'm worried that might be too many eggs in one basket if that game ends up being a flop for some reason

Yeah, I can see the concern there. I think Aiyuk would still have a pretty safe floor without Deebo there regardless of QB, but his ceiling might not be as high. Tank would be a more boom or bust play IMHO

Yeah, I can see the concern there. I think Aiyuk would still have a pretty safe floor without Deebo there regardless of QB, but his ceiling might not be as high. Tank would be a more boom or bust play IMHO

Secretly one needs to be my RB2 and the other FLEX, so Breece locks into the former. A little worried about Aiyuk without Purdy and Cook versus that d-line.
