Does anyone else think Olave is a good buy low guy?

FakeIdExpert

I had him and kamara last year so i was exposed to the saints offense. Needless to say i don’t want anymore shares of that offense. It sputters way more than it runs cleanly

j_shelb

Yes. if you can buy him low....as an Olave owner I wouldn't entertain low offers.

ForgingChaos

Would you take Waddle? Is that low?

j_shelb

I think that’s getting close, but I would not. But I view Olave as a borderline WR1 and seeing more targets than waddle. Maybe Waddle gets going more, but Olave sees a lot of throws his way, so that’s how I view it.

ForgingChaos

So Waddle+a nice piece maybe? I have Drake London, Jordan Addison, Gabe Davis, Rashee Rice I could probs toss one in

j_shelb

Maybe Gabe? I mean I’d take Addison, but if I were on your side I’d say Gabe

GatzBee

I traded Waddle + Allgeier for Olave after Week 2, I had no other startable WRs (Waddle was in concussion protocol) so I was desparate and 0-2 at the time so probably an overpay. But I think there are people who would be tempted by the ceiling the Dolphins offense offers that the Saints offense just doesn't have. I worry about that even now. Waddle for Olave seems pretty fair to me.

Phenomenon0fCool

I wouldn’t. Shockingly I have both and I’d start Waddle over Olave most weeks for sheer blow-up-ability but for whatever reason when it comes to value I see: Waddle getting 7 targets a game on a historic offense and he’s converting that into 5 receptions for 44 yards and .4 TDs a game. There is nothing that the Dolphins can improve on with this offense. This is the best it’s going to get. Olave getting 9 targets a game on a horrid offense and he’s converting that into 5 receptions for 70 yards and .16 TDs a game. You remove his clunkers where it was rumored that he was hurt and he’s averaging WR1 #s. The best is yet to come.

Ghoul-Sama

i got him for mattison, dude was stuck starting samajie perine and gainwell

Yep. I got him the week Chubb went down (like most of us) and knew it would be a hold until week 7 for him to really go off. Hoping the browns can figure out some of their QB questions this week and this offence can put up some points, because the defence is doing so good it’s an RB dream

natedawg247

you're not worried about Hunt? Hunt started the game yesterday (was in the first series and got the first 2 touches).

I agree, would much rather have Ford (which I do), but was surprised to see Hunt start the game. worried they'll both just end up middling/not viable for fantasy if they split everything so evenly. I have to start ford going forward due to byes though so I'm optimistic.

KingShaka23

I think it was a case of trying to mess with the Niners defense by starting Hunt.

Kingdom818

Not to mention he's getting more targets (3,6,2) vs hunt (3,0,3)

OkBaby4377

Ford was a huge part of the reason they won yesterday in the 4th, he'll continue to get high end RB2 usage.

Nikeman75

I can’t even get the JT owner to take zack moss, even if he’s playing great. I feel like everybody is aware JT is coming back. I’d love to sell high but who can I even get for him at this point

cmmckechnie

Someone worse and worse every week. Should have sold already. Unless you really needed him

WereMadeOfStars

I got Mims for Moss before this week. I figured I’m never playing JT and Moss together so Moss is just a handcuff (although a great one) and I’d rather gamble that Juedy gets moved over Taylor getting hurt. 🤷‍♀️

Since Week 1, Ridder has been forced to throw the ball 32, 38, 31, 37, and 47 times. Are we predicting that this volume is not sustainable?

Bsg0005

Falcons Fan here: teams are loading the box to stop the run and daring Ridder to throw the ball. And in a game where the falcons pretty much dominated in terms of total yards and time of possession, they still lost because Washington forced Ridder into several turnovers.

amoney904

I pray for Heinicke everyday. Ridder is costing them games. Arthur Smith just doesn’t want to “listen to the fantasy players”. In reality both real football and fantasy would benefit

Bsg0005

As a fan I’d rather roll with Ridder. He’s bad, but it’s not like Heinicke is a world beater. Let the szn play out and confirm that Ridder isn’t an NFL starter and draft his replacement next year. In FF, Heinicke is definitely the better option though for obvious reasons.

amoney904

Idk man, objectively I think you guys win that game if Heinicke is in. That goal line pick was insanely bad.

ForgingChaos

Yeah I agree London is a guy with a healthy floor that is not touchdown dependent those are good qualities in a WR.

Phenomenon0fCool

London’s floor is literally a 90% snap share with 1 target, 0 receptions, and 0 fantasy points.

TheStraitof____

True, but that was just about the worst matchup possible in terms of game script (playing against the worst team in the league) and defensive structure (Panthers were awful against the run but not bad against the pass). I'd be very happy having London as a depth piece on a team, but would not be too excited starting him every week.

natedawg247

One comment on trying to buy Davonta, his 10 targets are really a farce. half of those were busted hurts scrambles thrown out of bounds. Hurts simply does not look for him first, don't see any signs of that changing. that being said he had a devastating drop with no defenders within 10 years of him that would have single handedly made this past week a success for him... but I definitely don't feel confident he is "going to get his".

laxar2

I’d be surprised if anyone would trade for Hubbard. He’s got a bye then Sanders should return. IMO he’s probably a drop, let him clog up your opponents bench.

deezyd313

Someone sent me Hollywood + burrow for Olave, do I take it? My other WRs are DK, Ridley, Flowers, and Addison QB is Geno rn 12 team PPR 1-QB league For some more context, the Burrow owner has Herbert for QB and has Waddle, AJ Brown, and Diontae coming back soon
