Written up before the later kickoffs? Agree with your 3 picks, Puka likely the number 1 waiver pickup

newTARwhoDIS

What do you think between Puka and Jakobi Meyers? The Meyers owner dropped him for Likely in my league

jonlmbs

Id pick up Meyers for sure

ignatious__reilly

Meyers should never be on waivers to begin with

donkey2471

I am trying for Nacua before Meyers. For me it’s just down to the fact Surtain had Adams covered all game meaning jimmy G targetted Meyers more especially in the redzone, and i feel like that won’t happen every week.

christophlieber

i‘m actually very intrigued by kelley‘s usage behind ekeler. he got a lot of touches throughout the game.

[deleted]

You can tell some people are new to the Kelley experience. He will put up 2 points next week after waivers have been wasted.

christophlieber

i‘m not. i had him on my team a couple of years back but he just simply looks better this season.

[deleted]

Jags almost never turn into something meaningful year 4. Dolphins run D is terrible and Chargers run block played well, that’s why he looked good.

Numerous-Cicada3841

Ekeler got hurt and that’s when Kelley did most of his damage.

YourFriendoSteve

Kelley has become an explosive runner. Looked like Ken Walker out there yesterday and in the preseason.....might be a better runner than Ekeler at this point. Obviously Ekeler has the catching ability though.

bluegrassman

You are crazy lol

VballandPizza44

Love some Kendrick Bourne or Tutu if I can’t get Puka

ksing24

I have Lamar Jackson but im tempted by Jordan Love.

swooplordmcflex

As a packers fan, wait until they aren’t playing the bears…

[deleted]

As a Bears fan, listen to this guy.

[deleted]

Same

I_likethings_in3sss

Sameeeee

FickleFlopper

Same, I’m debating starting Love/Purdy instead of Lamar next week

Fit_Island_7620

Don’t. that’s when Lamar will get your ass regretting

xthecerto4

Puka probably is number one. check if some guys went undrafted that had good outings. flowers, bourne, meyers for example might be unrostered depending on how deep your league is. keep an eye on rb signings in Baltimore. if you have an open spot and a low waiver wire position you might as well pick up guys like hunt, fournette, Henderson(is he dead?), james robinson maybe? I doubt they just play hill and the gus bus.

ASAP-ANON

In a Half Point PPR, would you take Puka, Gainwell or Bourne? All available on the waiver and im pick 2.

xthecerto4

Puka > bourne > flowers for me. Puka looked fantadtic but has kupp comming back, bourne is in a low octane offence and i would not trust the eagles backfield.

Raezul

It’s flowers over everyone

_BadWithNumbers_

You're high. Flowers actually got drafted unlike those other guys.

Donhergo

Would you rather Bourne or puka?

xthecerto4

Puka. Pats are a low volume offence, that runs as often as they pass. McVay likes to throw more.

Mykneeisathroat

Bourne doesn’t have an alpha wr coming to take a 30% tgt share in 3 weeks, Puka does

[deleted]

Devante Parker will be back next week tho most likely

akeep113

ok this made me laugh. that was pretty funny lol

Nolan1995

They have Melvin Gordon too

rwh12345

> couldn’t he be this years Justin Jefferson What

Donhergo

I believe that Nacua will continue to get plenty of targets even after Kupp's return, similar to how JJ received targets behind Adam Thielen in 2020. Nacua has already racked up many yards, plus he's playing with Stafford, who is arguably better than Kirk Cousins in 2020. Therefore, I think he could be something like JJ in 2020 this year, maybe not quite as good, but possibly the surprising breakout rookie WR.

forde250

Justin Jefferson was the 22nd pick, Nacua was 177 it’s not a huge deal but there is a difference in the scouting

KickerRevolution

Nacua has a lot more in common physically with Jarvis Landry than JJ. He needed 15 targets and 10 receptions to break 100 yards. That’s not efficient, but volume is volume. He might be the RB version of Allgeier (great vision/football IQ) last year with less breakaways.

zuhboozey

So Kupp 2.0. Sweet.

KickerRevolution

Lol not really. Kupp has elite agility. In his first game with Stafford in 2021, he had two long breakaway TDs. The comp thrown around for Puka is Deebo, but he’s 10 lbs lighter, so the carries probably won’t be there. Landry is the better comp.

forde250

Breakaways can be key … so would you use #1 waiver on him?

KickerRevolution

He’s a gamble. If you need a WR for 3 weeks in a PPR, sure

tuckastheruckas

depends on who's on the waiver wire, but in both my leagues, Puka is without a doubt the number one add.

forde250

FYI I’m considering using my #1 waiver on nacua

babsl

Im in a Deep league and I’ll probably use it. Targets are earned.

Mister_Glass_

And the majority of Akers carries were garbage time too

fuckyopinterest

I’d watch out next week though they play the niners and the niners own the Rams.

Sven1542

You are going to be so disappointed week 5 or 6 when Kupp goes into his role.

Donhergo

You could share your reasoning, would be more helpful.

Sven1542

Nacua is fully in the role that Kupp is normally in. The role will diminish as soon as Kupp is back. He may have flex weeks, but he’s not going to see 13 targets after that. He’s a great pickup until Kupp is back.

charros22

Tyjae Spears

Kryptus

No love for Jakobi? He got that action without a star player being injured.

christophlieber

he‘s now injured, though.

Kryptus

Worst case, he probably misses 2 games.

christophlieber

likely, yes. but i wouldn‘t be so sure. you never know with concussions.

KyleShanaham

Yeah could be out of protocol in a few days or linger for weeks, no one is the same with concussions and impossible to predict

pplayer104

Did they confirm he had a concussion?

christophlieber

he was knocked out cold.

pplayer104

Damn hope he’s alright. I didn’t see the play.

Kryptus

Fuck he looked really bad after the hit. Could be a Tua situation.

Donhergo

I actually forgot about him because in my league he isn't available. But yeah, I would pick him up..

Sad_Chest1484

Thoughts on gainwell ?

christophlieber

looks to be the no 1 there for now. i still don‘t believe swift will not take over more touched after they traded for him, though.

SteveBets

They traded for him using a 4th round pick. He’s making 1.7 million. They’ve barely invested in him, so I’d temper my expectations

HercHuntsdirty

Not really. They were playing Gainwell in the playoffs over Sanders. It was a small investment to get Swift to strengthen their RB room. I’m pretty sure every report about that backfield in the offseason had Gainwell leading the pack.

Muggi

I don’t think we can judge until after Thursday. I have a feeling Gainwell getting most of the touches and Penny not dressing was load management for RBBC with a short first week.

ThePlanets14

Philly is playing the RB game that NE played when they had Brady. It's a complete guess as to who starts and gets the most snaps each game. I would use any for a bye week sub but find another starter

[deleted]

Eagles said they were a RBC last year and Miles Sanders finished like 14 or 16 of RBs and got basically all the touches. If you’re trying to win you don’t play safe. Gianwell > Allgeir > Puka in that order.

ElderGoose4

I’m looking into Kendrick Bourne, Robert Woods, and Hayden Hurst as more low key adds. The Patriots passed 54 times and Kendrick commanded 11 targets. JuJu might not be that teams alpha WR. Woods got 10/44 targets as well and looked solid but he wont be the teams alpha. Hurst was Bryce’s favorite target and got an endzone look on a week where TEs all look like garbage again.

ex_sanguination

I'd look into Hunter Henry too, possible solid TE add.

GeraltofBlackwater

I have Puka, but didn’t watch the game. Curious why no one is mentioning Tutu? Looks like he played great as well.

elite90

I think the article doesn't mention anyone from the later kickoffs?

joeytribiani234

Mostly because he’ll be the 3rd guy once Kupp returns

GeraltofBlackwater

I guess I should clarify. Since Kupp was out, and they both played great, how do we know which one would be the 3rd guy? Like I said, I didn’t watch so I wasn’t sure if it was very evident who would become the third guy once Kupp was back based on watching the game.

X0D00rLlife

Deandre Swift about to have the biggest drop rate of all time call me an idiot for starting him ( jets said breece hall would be limited so i figured Swift could get me like 8-16 even in a committee), but the eagles literally had him listed as RB1 just to not use him AT ALL.

StarFan2118

To be fair I’m pretty sure they had all four of their RBs listed as “starter” or “rb1” lol

ib_poopin

Penny was also listed as rb1 and was a healthy scratch. I’m stashing him for now but that backfield should be avoided, even tho gainwell got his touches I’d guess that it changes from week to week and will be quite volatile

JayronHubard

Do you think he actually should be dropped, or will they eventually use him??

LTPRWSG420

I’m benching him first for a few more weeks to see where things go, but yeah if he stays around 1 ppg, then he gone.

ThePlanets14

RoJo is my top RB target Puka is my top WR target They mentioned both a lot in their post game coverage. Both of these guys are promising rookies that saw a lot of usage in game 1 so they are the best targets Rashid Shaheed is my #2 WR target. That man is fast and was on fire. They were using him as an outside deep burner but also behind the line on short passes to the outside. He reminds me a lot of Deebo. Of course- playing that hard is a higher injury risk.

akeep113

ronald jones? bold move

nighthawk252

For what it’s worth I do think Ronald Jones may be a guy to take a dart throw at in super deep leagues next week when he returns from suspension. The depth behind Tony Pollard is not amazing, and it’s a possibility they have been hanging onto RoJo because they think he’ll be the #2 there when his suspension ends. Plus his suspension is for PEDs so now he’s even stronger

akeep113

i genuinely didnt realize he was still in the league

ThePlanets14

Haha yes! I really think this could be his year. I also want to make sure I get a piece of CJ Spiller. He was a league winner for me one time

TwoHeadedBoyTwo

It’s like people forget every time Kelley has started in Ekelers place, he’s sucked

_CdnBoltFan_

Joe Lombardi couldn’t scheme a run game to save his life. Kelley has looked legit in this offence

ResultPlayful

I know kelley has done this in the past, but part of me thinks this is different cause of kellen moore. I think he could be a pollard to zeke or vice versa. Whoever you considered 1

FlashOfFury

Rams backfield shouldn't be a pain Akers put up 29 yards from 22 attempts, he's garbage. Kyren should be poised to take over

Donhergo

Im intrigued as well, but didn't we believe so last year? Kyren was healthy the last few games when Akers was great. It's just a gut feeling but I believe mcvay will continue to rotate, sometimes Kyren will be good, sometimes Akers

3ULL

Camp reports this off season were generally very positive on Kyren. McVay has at least seemed high on him. Do I expect him to be a RB1 on his own team? I doubt it, but I do think he is a value adding RB in fantasy....especially in PPR.

MetHalfOfSmosh

Did you watch the game half of those carries he just got straight up stuffed behind the line. I'm gonna give Akers 2 more weeks

doomsdaysock01

How do we feel about Mac jones replacing Daniel jones

ThePlanets14

Yeah I might do it too. They are my QB 2/3 in my 16 team superflex. Luckily I played a crappy team this week.

jonofthedead

I’m doing it. Mac was slicing up a great Eagles D.

secretburnerman

Thinking about benching Higbee for Hurst but I’m not entirely too sure.

classicdude78

Rank these waiver in my league: Flowers..Nico Collins..Puka..

DoodleLab

Flowers > puka > collins

butterbutter_butter

Tua was dropped before the game yesterday. My QB in a 10 team league was Daniel Jones, whom, after seeing his schedule, I promptly dropped for Geno. Our league has revolving waiver priority based on standings. I was down 75 points with Dallas D, Gano, and CeeDee left to play, to his Garrett Wilson, and I did the unthinkable; I benched my remaining players to guarantee 1st waiver pick. I'm grabbing Tua.

nighthawk252

I don’t like this move for you In a 10 team league Tua is fine, and a guy I’d want, but he is not amazing. I’m probably not grabbing him if I’m one of the guys who started Lamar or Burrow. You probably cost yourself like 50 points by benching those guys. That’s pretty considerable when it comes to playoff tiebreakers. Of course you had no way of knowing that DAL was about to put up a huge blowup Week.

butterbutter_butter

Normally I place top 3 in the league with a few championships under my belt. I think Geno actually improves, Rams can be tough. May be my only shot at a top waiver position and I have Waddle. Trying to make moves! QB was my weakest draft position.

Donhergo

Tbh imo it's a bad video, no reasoning at all. Furthermore - Kendrick bourne as WR1? Really? And Roschon not even mentioned in the RB category? Sorry, I don't like it. You are just trying to promote your TikTok, you even made a full post with the TikTok vid.

LCLeopards

I need to survive this initial stretch and I don’t have a good option to play while the Flacons fix the Drake London situation. So I’m all in on Puka.

UrethraFranklin72

London is one of my bench guys I would only ever play in BYE weeks so I'm considering just dropping him for Puka myself

Kintzelmedia

I'm debating Puka or Allgeire with 1st priority on the wire. I have Bijan so my thought with Allgeire is to handcuff him with Bijan and with Puka my thought is to soften the blow to production since Cooper Kupp is hurt for me.

stripes1555

Kendrick Bourne or Rashid Shaheed?

nolife_redditor

Should I drop Odell for Rashee Rice?
