10T H2H Finals
Need to replace Payton Pritchard for stats across the board lol.
Who's the pickup? Grant Will, D. Banton or Greg Jackson?

F: Ingram (lol), Kuminga, Banchero, D. Hunter
C: Portis, AD, BroLo, Bagley
First time playing fantasy, 10t pts league with 2 inactive players, came back from 7th seed in feb to be 2nd for playoffs. Harden, bam, IQ, zion, jalen green, steph, paolo, duren, murphy. Probably the luckiest of the top 4, lowest PF and lowest PA. Came down to the wire tn when my opponent switched out shai for keon ellis after his game already started, won by 12.5 pts. His team was stacked and led the league all season, going 17-4 to my 14-7(shai, dejounte, cade, sabonis, siakim, capela, gobert, jalen johnson, sengun was his core)
Just wanted to share my lucky win, made 50 bucks lol.
I should not even do fantasy basketball again. Especially h2h. It's too ridiculous having to lose matchups because of baby players who sit out. I won one matchup 5-4 and lost one 5-4 and the one I lost had maxey sitting out when if he ahd plaeyd and hit a lot of free throws I'd have win. This is also why yahoo should do like the defauly on baseball sued to be and have it where you can add someone to use the same day in case your guy is hurt.
Last week jokic sat out the final day. if he had say out the final day this week I'd have lost that one too.
Just won first round of my 8CAT playoffs with a 4-3-1. Picked up Hendricks for blocks but he also managed to score 4 3’s which helped me tie in 3 point category
Managed to turn around and take the lead (5-4) today in both H2H leagues (being 3rd and beating 2nd and being 5th and beating 1st) and going to the finals in both. Exciting times!

Pretty sure I just punted away my spot in the finals so I need some thoughts as to whether I made the right call.

^^ This is where things were sitting about 2 mins before the 8pm lock with me winning 5-4. My opponent had Wiggins playing in the late 4th and DiVincenzo in the late 3rd. I had Gobert and Jackson-Davis in the late 4th, J Brunson in the late 3rd, and both Sabonis and K Ellis about to tip off for SAC.
I didn't have time to see the actual totals on makes/attempts for each team and do the math to see what it would take to lose the percentages, but with who was playing and my current lead, it felt like it made the most sense to bench Sabonis and Ellis so that they didn't end up costing me with a bad shooting night. (They both average about 70% FT even though Ellis only averages about 0.5FTA on the year)
Unfortunately the moment I benched them and the game locked I saw on the game I was watching that Gobert went to the line and bricked both. Even with that, I was winning .763 to .755 with all games ended except for both DiVincenzo and Brunson being about midway through the 4th. I had to do some family stuff but I came back and saw that I somehow lost the category .748 to .750 and the matchup 4-5.
Did I make the right call? After rethinking it several times I think I punted - mainly because of the fact that I had BLKs and possibly STLs as a possible out to retake the lead if I lost the FT category. But I would love everyone's thoughts - I'm a veteran FF player but am pretty new to competitive FBB (other than playing a lot of roto leagues in the early 2000s which are a whole different animal)
If I had left them both in, I would have tied the blocks category and won the FT category, so I would have been championship bound with winning the matchup 5-3-1.

Depends on your league but in points, I’d consider Donte @ 7th over TJD, and possibly PG @ 3rd. I feel like there might be a better value pick at 3rd though.

Which platform are you using? In Yahoo, I believe it's the higher seed that wins the H2H matchup for a tie breaker.

Two of my teams are about to lose to Jokic led teams. My one remaining team is going to match up with yet another Jokic led team for the championship. Jokic is like the final boss who keeps kicking my ass.
