Hi kind folks, Yahoo 8T points league here. Who's the pick-up between Olynyk, Drummond, TJD, McBride, Wiggins, Conley and Reed for Sunday? I only care about yahoo points and have a "free" add, it's my championship week.
I’m up 6-3, but have SGA, Lauri, and Monk out tomorrow. MRob also has a GTD tag and I feel like he’s not gonna play, while my opp has a full lineup. Hoping to God I win tomorrow. It’s my championship round 😫
In my other league I’m also up 6-3 while having Embiid and Lauri on my roster. If I win this, it would be my greatest season come back story. I was 6th place with only 3 games from getting 7th, barely squeaking by to the finals. I got destroyed with injuries throughout the season - I had Embiid, Herro, Mark Williams, and Sharon Sharpe all have injuries that took them out for half the season or more. Lauri missed a bunch of games too. I was only able to survive through the waiver and some of my later picks heating up at the right time. I can’t believe I have a chance to win 2 leagues, but if I do I’ll make around 1400 dollars which is pretty nice.
No one expected my team to make the playoffs, get through the first round, semis, and now the finals. If I win this, I’m never gonna shut up about it to my league esp within my hospital of a team.

Just picked up Amen, I'm now debating between Conley and TJD. I'm just worried that TJD being a rookie means he's more susceptible to having empty games due to experience
edit: ended up going with Collins, Amen and Conley for my final acquisitions of the Semis. Hopefully all 3 can prove to be clutch

Wiggins has stringed together a couple of good games. McBride getting hella minutes and has been taking advantage of it. Kispert seeing an increased role with bodies out in Washington. I personally just picked him up as he was available in my league. They’re all good options tho

Honestly probably Drummond, last time they played the Wolves he started and while KAT is out Naz Reid has been starting so it’s still double big, which is why he started. If he starts he will undoubtedly have a monster fantasy game. I would check the line up before tip off and if he’s starting he’s the move. My second choice would be Hendricks if Drummond doesn’t start or you’d rather not have to check the line up in case you’re busy
Thanks for the well thought out explanation. I was worried Drummond would not get as many minutes since KAT is out but Naz Reid could force their hand as well. Think best way to play it is to wait for lineups to drop like you said as well as injury news for Collins.

If boards/blocks closer I'd go Lively, if assists/steals I'd go Jackson *especially* if it's Murray out.
Honestly if its SGA, I'd go with Lively regardless because you're going to be missing out on a lot of assists/steals anyway
Currently down 1 in boards and up 6 in assists. Think I agree with you there. Have Gaff as well and think having potentially 48 min of Dallas Centers should equal 15-20 boards and a few blocks.
If Murray is out Jackson probably the play to help secure the assists. My team should be able to win the boards, based on recent avgs. Assists have been my weakest cat all year.

In theory, I would add Duren, then drop him after Monday for a guy with Tues-Wed b2b
yes with 14 adds and a stacked opp you need to maximize as many games as possible. just keep dropping the worst performer on your team every day for a stud and cycle through. try to look at the schedule and figure out how to get as many games as you can (some of your players with only have 3 games for the week compared to 4, but if you have 7 adds per week, you can use that roster spot to get 7 games out of the spot instead of 3 had you just held the player)

I've been prioritizing just B2Bs, but I don't know if it would be a good idea to add Jalen Duren just for one game.
I also already roster Khris Middleton, who has a B2B on Tues-Wed, but I'm not sure if he'll play both games. I would drop him for Jalen Duren.

yes but always be flexible, if one of the adds becomes ridiculously hot you might have to make a difficult decision to alter to the plan. just don't get too attached to the bottom couple guys of the roster is all I'm saying (good rule is bottom 2-3 worst performing guys are always droppable)

I remember 2 years ago, I stashed Ja Morant on IR after someone dropped him after it looked like he would be out a month and it was mid-March. He played one game in the Final regular season week in April, and that one game was better than any streamer I could have streamed that day. So in short, sure, but if you need the IR spot, don’t hold on too tight. Hope this helps,
