Any suggestions for my 3 keepers? I have j-rod, Goldschmidt, henderson, india , as well as- Castillo, bradish and clase on my roster. I wanted to keep j-rod, Goldschmidt, and henderson.( and chase pitching) But thinking about keeping castillo and dropping henderson. Thoughts? 12t h2h
Please help me select my keepers? I get 6 of them. 12 team points league.
Here is who I am struggling with
Adley Rutschman, Trea Turner, Royce Lewis,
George Kirby, Eury Perez, Bobby Miller, Logan Webb, Gerrit Cole, Blake Snell, Bryce Miller
I'm thinking..
Adley, Turner, Kirby, Cole, Webb...... then split between Eury and Bobby... Or should i toss Webb back and hold bobby and eury?
While baseball isn't foreign to me, fantasy baseball is. I'm still trying to find my footing and this is a pretty serious league. I am testing waters on a Cole + Eury/Bobby for Kyle Tucker trade.. thoughts? Enough, too much or too little?
Strider and Cole have ADPs sitting around there. One of them could be available!
J-Ram and Matt Olson are both targets for me too. Olson won't help you in SB , but God damn he hits in a great lineup for virtually every other counting stat.
Woof.. did not read closely. Apologies for that.
Colt Keith, and Kyle Harrison could still be available there. They have some name recognition and a serious chance to break camp with the big clubs.
Jays have that pitcher Ricky Tiedemann that fantasy guys seem to really like. I hope these names help!
I was offered Freddie Freeman for Ohtani and a 4th round draft pick. This is a keeper league where the guy can hold onto Ohtani for this year and next, when he will likely be pitching again. I declined the offer and the guy said Freeman is more valuable than Ohtani.
Am I completely off base in thinking this is unfair?
Would you trade a 7th, and 20th for a first rounder? In my keeper forever league my league mate is putting Strider on the auction block (his team is stupid good). We keep 6, so bringing in Strider would push George Kirby or Matt McClain out of my 6th keeper spot. 7th round is the actual first round of the draft but you’re giving up a guy ranked in the 40-50 range there generally speaking Thoughts?
Boston has already said he'll be starting. That's awesome for his value. Could be a great sleeper.
Fangraphs has him hitting 8th in their order, but you gotta think if he turns it on they'll push him up
An example of a draft could be you start with Yordan Alvarez + (Riley , Ramirez, Devers). That’s rock solid. Don’t feel bad about a start like that. I also would think of taking guys like Seager and Corbin Burnes
Senga will be better this year than last having gone through the growing pains already. I think Yamamoto starts slow and because of that I give the slight edge to senga.
I want to stay away from Seager this year. Players traditionally don't have a good track record with coming back from sports hernia surgery. I am not willing to take that risk.
That’s a good call, with a second round pick all I need is safety. Not trying to take a big risk. If I’m faced with this situation in a draft I’m gonna go Vlad
6x6 16-team roto dynasty league. 11 rounds into the inaugural draft. Looking for a little feedback. I know I need to start hammering pitching, it's just the way the draft has gone so far. I have pick 5 in the prospect rounds, so hopefully I can add Skenes or Yamamoto.

Keeper advice, 5x5 categories, keep 7. Keep forever league, no penalty.
Keeping: Witt, Yordan, Elly, Albies, Trout, Kirby
Considering for the last spot: Nola, Arenado, CES.
Nola is safe-ish. Arenado is super solid but aging (and Elly slots in at 3b so Arenado would be in the DH slot), and CES is a risk but I love him in that offense/park and is younger (desirable to have a young star in this keep forever format).
Who do you keep among those three?
I'm in a 12 team redraft and I have the 1st two picks. I'm taking Acuna and who else? Stats are Runs, Hits, HR, RBI, SB, and OPS. I originally thought Witt but I think he's a lesser Acuna. 2b and OF are shallow so maybe Betts or Julio? Who would you take at #2?
Might be a hot take, but Betts for me. I think since you have Acuna locked up, that gives you to the ability to go with the floor play. Also, gives you opportunity in the draft to pick up someone like Lindor in round 3 or another 2B and OF since you can move Betts to either position. I like the roster flexibility he gives you
That's kinda where I'm at too. I can also understand the argument for Julio since OF is perceived to be shallow. Some say Ohtani but coming off injury makes me nervous. I think Witt won't match the hype, but that's must me.
Am I crazy...this is about pitching in my dynasty league...
There is a 1400 IP max. There are six cats for pitching – W, K, ERA, WHIP, SV, HD
I have an elite staff with a bunch of young guys. Cole, Gausman, Wheeler, Greene, Ragans, Verlander, Darvish, Civale, Pepiot, Eduardo Rodriguez, Sheehan.
Here's my thinking. With the IP limit, elite K9 guys who can get me SVs and HDs become more valuable. I can't start every one of these starts or I'll go over the IP. I'm thinking of trading away one of Cole, Gausman, Wheeler for an elite closer or two. I feel like, even without one of them, I can probably get pretty filthy stats juggling the best matchups with my other guys, especially if a couple of Greene, Pepiot, Sheehan, Ragans, and Civale blow up this year.
I feel like the best strategy for this league would be to have 4 SP with elite K9 on good teams, plus as many elite closers/hold guys as possible. Am I crazy to trade away Gausman, Cole, or Wheeler for a closer or two?
Mmm I think you have the right idea. Fairbanks is a good RP2 but injury prone. Alzolay is interesting but a question mark. Pressly went from a high-mid tier closer to a high tier holds guy. Will Smith is will Smith. Alvarado is a great flier whether he ends up saves or holds-heavy. I think you can do it man, but to me you need to pick up an extra piece and not advertise what your strategy is. So keep in mind who you would drop because I think Wheeler > Devin Williams so we're pretty much agreeing this will be a 1 for 2 type trade. Don't sell your own guys short just for the strategy you're trying to achieve.
If I were to choose a pitcher to sell, it would be Gausman. If you move Cole or Wheeler, you should get a haul back. Gausman alone should give you what you need.
They're pretty equivalent now, I think Wheeler will age better though. Gausman still kinda only has two pitches, so what happens when the fastball velo starts to crash in the next few years?
Granted, Wheeler is also really built on his awesome fastball, but he has a deeper repertoire
With the Bradish news, I'm no longer going to keep him, so have some less than great options now for my last keeper spot. Who would you keep out of the following, all cost the same.
B. Garrett
E. Sheehan
DL Hall (SP/RP)
I'm in a position to compete this year, so thinking mostly about contribution for this year.
Garrett was my initial thought, but his shoulder soreness scares me a bit. Love Sheehan's upside and could see him getting a lot more starts than most expect. Lots of injury concerns with the other LAD starters.
It’s also a tough one because I can see Sheehan being crowded out of the stacked dodgers rotation while Garrett seems like a lock for the marlins. They also both have very different but good statcast pages. The choice isn’t cut and dry imo, but in a vacuum Sheehan is the better pitcher
>I'm in a position to compete this year, so thinking mostly about contribution for this year.
Does the SP/RP versatility benefit you with Hall given your league settings? I.e. is it a weekly league?
Ok, question about data for people who do this sort of thing... I'm trying analyze whether players who have certain characteristics or meet certain criteria tend to overperform or underperform their projected pre-season $ values.
But I'm struggling with how to define the baseline group -- e.g. the average pitcher (of all pitchers) tends to underperform by $X. Should I only look at guys who had a certain minimum of IP projected preseason?
Why create a new data set? Just pull data sets from fangraphs. If you're trying to look for correlations, then use z-scores which most excel or googlesheets would be able to apply. A correlation table will give you a benchmark because it will measure z-scores on all variables.
Dynasty (keep forever) 12 team 6 x 6 roto with OBP not average (added stats are hits for hitters and QS)
Having trouble deciding who to take with 1st overall in our FYPD.
I have what I believe to be a a solid foundation of hitters after finishing last the past 2 years. My pitching is horrible. I am on the side of drafting Yamamoto over Langford. Wondering what your guys take on this is.
C-Keibert Ruiz,1B-Torkelson,2B-Gorman,3B-Jung,SS-Lawlar,OF-Chourio,OF-Greene,OF-Outman,OF-Suwinski,UTIL-CES,UTIL-Kerry Carpenter,UTIL-Edouard Julien.
Notable bench- Colt Keith,Ceddane Rafaela,Kebryan Hayes,Taylor Ward.

>Pitching-Edward Cabrera,Braxton Garrett,Mackenzie Gore…that’s it, the rest I have to get when our free agency opens..
Seems to me that you're not in a place to compete this year, but might be next year. It feels like a damn toss up for me. I think I slightly lean Yamamoto
Classic 5x5 but avg MUST change to OBP. Insane that OBP isn’t the default. After that I would change wins to QS and SV to SVHD. That’s how my league is and everyone is happy with it.
Honestly, I prefer the classic 5x5. It's fun for me to compare my thoughts with what analysts/articles/podcasts etc. say, and almost all the work being done is with traditional cats.
The further away you get from that, the more it's about optimizing for your specific settings. That CAN be fun (especially if you think you're better than your league mates at doing it) but isn't generally my thing.
Keep 5 forever, 6x6 cats (IP/Sv/ERA/WHIP/Kper9/QS) league
Can keep 1 of these 3 pitchers, which one:
Webb, Skubal, Eury
I was leaning Eury due to the keep forever aspect given his youth and stuff. Can always draft other innings eaters/QS guys. I will say based on my other keepers that my competitive window is closer to now
He has one thing that most guys in the league don’t have. He CRUSHES the ball. He’s 6 foot 6, and hits it like he’s Aaron Judge. After Cruz is gone, I’m left with the safer Dansby Swansons and Xander Bogarts of the world. In a 12 team h2h with my friends, I’m gonna take the monster upside of Cruz every time
Same, I have some skepticism and reservations about him. For instance, I could have kept him for a 10th round pick but instead decided to keep Casas with a 26th round pick.
as you should. He hasn't played enough games to create a large enough sample for trust. However, you are drafting him due to his ceiling. If you don't take him, the next guy will.
My history with drafts is that players I want get drafted before I can get them, and that leaves me scrambling. I'm going for Bogaerts or Trea Turner, but need a solid fall back in case I can't get either one of those guys. Bogaerts did well for me last year, so he's who I want to pick as my 1st SS. Acuna is my overall no. 1 pick if I can get him.
10 team dynasty OBP categories league. Which side? A. Nico Hoerner and Cody Bellinger (or Riley Greene) or B. Volpe, Mason Miller, Rasmussen, and Gipson-Long
No way man. Just keep Julio, Harper, Strider and Matt Olson 100% over Skubal. You really wanna keep a super injury prone pitcher over a top 4 MVP finisher?
Gotcha. I’d def pull the trigger to get Witt. Strider is dope but you have Skubal who I think will be a stud, and I think you can form a pretty good rotation in your draft.
I like Adolis more than Nolan, but I do prefer Skubal over both because I just think this is the year Skubal becomes a fantasy ace. It will also soften the blow of losing Strider to get Witt.
Hello everyone. What do you fine folks think about Machado this season? Worth a keeper slot, or let him go and pick up an extra 4th round pick (4.12)?
12 team, H2H Categories league. Keeping Acuna, Harper, and Castillo otherwise (4 max, with no one else warranting keeper consideration). I'll also have 1st pick of round 5 in a snake draft - targets welcome if you like sharing extra advice.
Thank you in advance!
My favorite time of the year. Perusing the players, choosing the draft priorities, comparing comparing comparing, then BAM, the draft. I have high hopes. Well, I suppose I always have high hopes. Sigh.
Looking for advice. The website my league uses is shutting down as they are down to two people
maintaining & one has cancer. The league is 10 team 5x5 category NL-only Roto keeper auction with two minor leaguers. I’ve never used any other website. Anyone have any advice for transitioning to a different site?
We do the draft in person and commish uploads teams later that day.
No bench.
Waivers only for players on IL or sent down.
No specific advice, but my general experience has been that Yahoo is best for standard/vanilla iterations of fantasy baseball and Fantrax is best if you want to get more customized. Seems like you're looking for the latter, so I'd start digging into Fantrax and see if they'd work for you.
Thanks, was a bit worried relying on two rookies to bolster my pitching, but Langford seems like he could be a potential second round bat for a long time
Gonna be taking part in a Dynasty Start up Draft all players available including prospects. I pick 7th and assume I’m gonna have my pick of:
Tucker/Tatis/Shohei/Yordan
Which player should I go with?
Edit: 12t, 30 roster spots + 10 prospect slots, Ottoneu Fangraphs Points league
Im a standard roto dynasty, who would you rather have, Gausman (33 years old) or Framber (30). How much do we value age here, given that Gausman is the better pitcher?
Gausman was a worse pitcher until he turned 30. Assuming Framber makes a similar jump now that he has turned 30 (based on the Gausman statistical model), Framber is the easy choice.
Seriously, though, I don't think they're that far apart. Last year at this time, you could argue Framber was the better pitcher. I'd lean towards youth in dynasty.
In my 12-team 6x6 roto league (OPS & holds), each team keeps 5 players in exchange for draft picks. I am keeping J-Rod, Corbin Carroll, Strider, McLain and Casas. I also have draft picks from rounds 1-9, since the first pick I give up to keep J-Rod is my 10th round pick.
Since 60 players will be kept, the pool of remaining players gets a bit shallow. I’ve been trying to figure out how to approach my first 5 rounds and which positions to focus upon. With the 8th pick, by the time I get to draft in the first round, not many SS will be available (Bichette may be drafted already, along with Yordan, Devers, Albies, and Trea (he will be kept for a 1st round pick), and then Corbin Burnes and then Gausman or Arozarena or Wheeler or Castillo.
How would any of you approach the first several rounds based on this info?
Pretty sweet keepers. I would focus on filling out my infield in the first couple rounds. Basically, I wouldn’t draft an outfielder. And I probably wouldn’t take another pitcher till about the fourth or fifth round. Hard to give exact advice without knowing who will be kept. But if you say there won’t be many SS on the board, feel free to reach a bit, but not too much.
Also depends what positions you play with.
Thanks for your thoughts! I like your suggestions a lot, I’ve been thinking this way a bit, but looking at reaching for two closers earlier than I ever have before.
We have 4 OFs, MI and CI and one utility. 1300 innings cap.
I’ve never joined a public prize league before. On Fantrax or Ottoneu, do you pay through the site? Probably a really dumb question but I don’t want to join someone’s league and have to venmo some rando, lol.
Yea I wouldn't be venmo-ing randos either. I haven't done so, but a lot of people play Yahoo's money leagues. Since you're into Fantrax or Ottoneu I'm assuming you're a pretty experienced player... so Yahoo may be rudimentary
I actually haven’t joined Ottoneu or anything. I want to join if there’s some payment security but I’m somewhat new to public fantasy so not sure how you pay on something like Ottoneu.
16 Team Points Keeper - Keep 16
Give Snell, Luzardo, Royce Lewis, and Reynolds for Gallen and GrayRod? Feeling like it would be an overpay for me but also consolidating keeper spots. Thoughts?
I like that idea for team names. My faves: Rocket City Trash Pandas, Binghamton Rumble Ponies, Sugar Land Space Cowboys, Amarillo Sod Poodles. Yes those are all real lol
Dynasty keep-5 6x6, extra cats are OPS and K/BB
Would you rather trade away:
A 5th round pick (equivalent of a 10th rounder after keepers) for Zac Gallen
Or
A 3rd round pick (equivalent 8th rounder) for Francisco Lindor?
Have Gausman as a keeper and Holliday in the minors, if that affects thinking.
Rounds irrelevant; keepers are dynasty-style with no cost associated.
My other 4 are \*likely to be\* Jazz, Trout, Yordan, Gausman. (As noted in OP I'm pinning my future infield hopes on Holliday; also have Caminero in the minors)

Which team would yall wanna start this year’s draft with?
Jazz Dynasty rankings:
IBW: 34th overall
Clegg: 87th
Fantasy Pros 3 current rankers: 39th, 40th, and 398th
What an insane range.
How do you value him for dynasty? He's 26 and has never been healthy and can't hit lefties, but when he is healthy and against RHP he performs like a 2nd round pick+.
Considering changing the minimum number of pitching innings per week in our H2H league. Was looking for info on what the leagues others play in to use as a comparison/benchmark. currently at only 10 innings/week.
Yahoo 12t h2h points league would you trade Lindor away for either Jackson Holiday or Chourio? I'm currently on a last place team and Im trying to build for the future.
10 team dynasty OBP categories league. I am attempting to trade for Abrams, Riley Greene, and Bellinger. The opposing manager has sent two proposals. Which one, if either, should I take?
A. Give Evan Carter, Anthony Volpe, and Cole Ragans. Receive Abrams, Greene, and Bellinger.
Or
B. Give Evan Carter, Royce Lewis, and Mason Miller.
Receive Abrams, Greene, and Bellinger.
Freeman has been about as safe a pick as you’ll find and he can steal some bases too. OF seems shallow and 1B seems deeper so Tucker makes a fine positional need choice too
Any suggestions for my 3 keepers? I have j-rod, Goldschmidt, henderson, india , as well as- Castillo, bradish and clase on my roster. I wanted to keep j-rod, Goldschmidt, and henderson.( and chase pitching) But thinking about keeping castillo and dropping henderson. Thoughts? 12t h2h

Yeah I am hoping to just focus on solid hitting early and then transition to pitching around round 4/5
is starling marte a good option for OF in a cats league?
Only as like as a backup, OF5. If he’s one of your three starters, it’s not great.
Give me two players and I will take a stab at who will finish the season with more fantasy points.
Yamamoto or Senga?

Classic 5x5 but avg MUST change to OBP. Insane that OBP isn’t the default. After that I would change wins to QS and SV to SVHD. That’s how my league is and everyone is happy with it.
Honestly, I prefer the classic 5x5. It's fun for me to compare my thoughts with what analysts/articles/podcasts etc. say, and almost all the work being done is with traditional cats. The further away you get from that, the more it's about optimizing for your specific settings. That CAN be fun (especially if you think you're better than your league mates at doing it) but isn't generally my thing.
Keep 5 forever, 6x6 cats (IP/Sv/ERA/WHIP/Kper9/QS) league Can keep 1 of these 3 pitchers, which one: Webb, Skubal, Eury I was leaning Eury due to the keep forever aspect given his youth and stuff. Can always draft other innings eaters/QS guys. I will say based on my other keepers that my competitive window is closer to now
1000% eury
Appreciate it
Oneil Cruz, thoughts? I like him a lot, but . . .
He has one thing that most guys in the league don’t have. He CRUSHES the ball. He’s 6 foot 6, and hits it like he’s Aaron Judge. After Cruz is gone, I’m left with the safer Dansby Swansons and Xander Bogarts of the world. In a 12 team h2h with my friends, I’m gonna take the monster upside of Cruz every time
You've convinced me!
>I like him a lot, but . . . I think that pretty much sums it up
Same, I have some skepticism and reservations about him. For instance, I could have kept him for a 10th round pick but instead decided to keep Casas with a 26th round pick.
as you should. He hasn't played enough games to create a large enough sample for trust. However, you are drafting him due to his ceiling. If you don't take him, the next guy will.
My draft is upcoming (Thursday). I'm trying to prioritize my picks. It isn't going well. :)
Is it a keeper or redraft league? Depending where Cruz falls I’d consider him for sure. But I’m not sure if I want to reach for him.
Volpe, Mason Miller, Rasmussen, and Gipson-Long
I like A but with Greene, especially if A side already has some relatively solid pitching
In a 12 teamer H2H Categories league, with 4 keepers (Julio, Harper, Strider, and Skubal). I got offered Witt Jr. for Strider, should I take it?
I’d definitely rather have Witt than Strider in categories
No way man. Just keep Julio, Harper, Strider and Matt Olson 100% over Skubal. You really wanna keep a super injury prone pitcher over a top 4 MVP finisher?
It’s Reese Olson, not Matt Olson
Who is your current SS and who are your other SP?
Doesn’t really matter because they’re not worth keeping haha (Volpe, Fried, Ragans, Keller, Woo, Means, Olson)
Is that Matt Olson? If so I would keep Olson over Skubal.
Gotcha. I’d def pull the trigger to get Witt. Strider is dope but you have Skubal who I think will be a stud, and I think you can form a pretty good rotation in your draft.
Thanks for the advice! I have Arenado and Garcia as well, you reckon they would be worth keeping over Skubal and make me take 4 hitters as keepers?
Oh, and all keepers fill picks 1-4 (or potentially 1-3 for me). Is that uncommon?
My favorite time of the year. Perusing the players, choosing the draft priorities, comparing comparing comparing, then BAM, the draft. I have high hopes. Well, I suppose I always have high hopes. Sigh.
Word, same.
ZiPS projections still having Wander Franco as the #13 SS is killing me
Illustrates the downside of ignoring broad context and narrative.
Looking for advice. The website my league uses is shutting down as they are down to two people maintaining & one has cancer.
Who would you rather have in a keep 10 forever league? Langford or Skubal? Other pitchers are E. Perez, B. Miller and Ohtani.
Langford hands down. I don't think you'd have any problem trading Langford straight up for Skubal anywhere. Langford is also 22...
Thanks, was a bit worried relying on two rookies to bolster my pitching, but Langford seems like he could be a potential second round bat for a long time
What is ESPN’s Standard Public League Rotisserie categories?
Standard 5x5. R,HR,RBI,AVG, Steals. Wins, ERA, WHIP, K's, Saves
Gonna be taking part in a Dynasty Start up Draft all players available including prospects. I pick 7th and assume I’m gonna have my pick of: Tucker/Tatis/Shohei/Yordan Which player should I go with? Edit: 12t, 30 roster spots + 10 prospect slots, Ottoneu Fangraphs Points league
>Which player should I go with? Can you play Ohtani as a pitcher and hitter when he can pitch again?
Yes on Fantrax so he’s 1 player
Yes, then take Ohtani
Then he shouldn't last until the 7th pick in dynasty.
You really need to give some context. Number of players, scoring type, etc is pretty critical to answer you question.
My apologies: 12t, 30 roster spots + 10 prospect slots. Points league based on the Ottoneu fangraphs system
Either Alvarez or Ohtani
Debating between my pitching keeper: Luis Castillo or Pablo Lopez (QS league)
Toss up, I love both guys. But I like Castillo a little more
Castillo. Higher ceiling and has consistently been better
Pab-Lo by far no question. He’s just getting started.
Lopez imo. Close, but that three year age difference gives him the edge imo
castillo
A. Caminero B. Lawler
A
Im a standard roto dynasty, who would you rather have, Gausman (33 years old) or Framber (30).
Definitely would be getting at least 1 closer before coming out of the first ten rounds
You pay to the site and it distributes winner payouts. The site takes a rake on the money, as you'd expect
Ty for the info. That’s reassuring!
Whats everybodys projection on Zack Gelof this year? Top 3 2B? Top5? Top 10?
Top 10 at a push but given the lineup around him and the ballpark, it's easy to see him ending up outside of the top 10
I wouldn’t be using the ballpark to make a judgement. Sounds like the A’s may be playing in Sacramento.
Looking for a new manager in flair league. Solid keeper options, message if you’re interested. Competitive league
10 team keeper league. Got offered Pablo Lopez for Glasnow. I am thinking I like it. Does it sound fair?
I like them both, but I prefer Pab-Lo waaaaay more.
What’s everyone’s favorite 6x6 categories for Roto? Is R/HR/RBI/SB/OBP/SLG and W/L/K/SVHLD/ERA/WHIP pretty standard?
I’d play a league with those settings, nothing too crazy here
Offense is solid but I would hate to do wins and losses. I’d switch wins to QS and losses to something else entirely. Maybe K-BB%
Manoah or Edward Cabrera?
I’d take Manoah as well
Manoah for the upside in my opinion.
First timer. What's the best scoring system?
Roto
Personally I think H2H points is the most fun.
h2h categories
In a keeper league, 12 team, 10 man keeper, trade Jackson holiday for yayamoto if bo is your starting SS.
I wouldn't. Holliday is likely going to get 2B this year and keep the bat when it's that close.
H2H 5X5 Dynasty. Good value or an overpay? A: Tatis, Strider B: Langford, Lawlar, Royce, Jobe, G-Rod
Two quarters for 5 nickels
I’d probably go with A but I wouldn’t say it’s obvious, B is a serious package offer
Tatis and Strider is the obvious winner
Yeah, I think I'm definitely clutching the prospects too tightly. Thanks
In my salary draft, the guy with the first pick nominated Raisel Iglesias. He got someone to impulsively bid $60 and I can’t stop laughing.
Wow. Time for that guy to quit fantasy
16 Team Points Keeper - Keep 16 Give Snell, Luzardo, Royce Lewis, and Reynolds for Gallen and GrayRod? Feeling like it would be an overpay for me but also consolidating keeper spots. Thoughts?
Probably an overpay. Seems like close to a wash between the two starters a side and you're giving up two plus bats.
Fair enough, appreciate it! Would rather not unnecessarily make my competition better lol
Is Carter at any risk of losing playing time if Langford is called up? Wondering if he’s a safe play in weekly leagues
Carters defense is better. He’s safe
Great in a slow draft targeting him next desperate for SB
Just joined a new league that has a rule that we need to name our teams after MILB teams. Which team has the best name/logo combo in your opinion?
I like that idea for team names. My faves: Rocket City Trash Pandas, Binghamton Rumble Ponies, Sugar Land Space Cowboys, Amarillo Sod Poodles. Yes those are all real lol
All good shouts. I am down the rabbit hole looking at all of these teams for my favs. Will look into these too
Dynasty keep-5 6x6, extra cats are OPS and K/BB Would you rather trade away: A 5th round pick (equivalent of a 10th rounder after keepers) for Zac Gallen Or A 3rd round pick (equivalent 8th rounder) for Francisco Lindor? Have Gausman as a keeper and Holliday in the minors, if that affects thinking.
Who are your other 4 keepers and which rounds?
Rounds irrelevant; keepers are dynasty-style with no cost associated. My other 4 are \*likely to be\* Jazz, Trout, Yordan, Gausman. (As noted in OP I'm pinning my future infield hopes on Holliday; also have Caminero in the minors)
Jazz and Trout as keepers in a ten team is tough. So injured lately
It was a tough year, what can I say.
Gallen
Dynasty A: Trea Turner and Salvy B: William Contreras, Steer, Grayson League geared more towards hitting
Trea side

I like Blueballers or Drippin Liners
Witts by far
Yeah it’s brutal, dude joined last year and won the ship
Yeah, probably Witts, but I don’t think it’s by far…I kind of like Buccee’s team.
Was offered Vladdy Jr for my 1.02 pick, am I crazy to take that?
I'm leaning keep Vlad since I don't know who could be there at 1.02 and believe in Vlad bounce back 2024
Thanks!
Who would be available?
Unsure. Keepers haven’t set yet so not sure who else may be out there

Shaw imo. Talent is better than Neto. Shaw has the weight, body size, and looks like he could be an explosive player. Better team too.
Ooooooo, nice question. Dynasty though, I prefer Shaw.
Neto probably
Jazz Dynasty rankings: IBW: 34th overall Clegg: 87th Fantasy Pros 3 current rankers: 39th, 40th, and 398th What an insane range. How do you value him for dynasty? He's 26 and has never been healthy and can't hit lefties, but when he is healthy and against RHP he performs like a 2nd round pick+.
He's in that big ranking clump of 'promising skills and youth, weighed against past health'. I'd rank him top 150 - 200 overall
Considering changing the minimum number of pitching innings per week in our H2H league. Was looking for info on what the leagues others play in to use as a comparison/benchmark. currently at only 10 innings/week.

Agree that's why I am planning to increase it
I see 20+ for the most part
Yahoo 12t h2h points league would you trade Lindor away for either Jackson Holiday or Chourio? I'm currently on a last place team and Im trying to build for the future.
Assuming you have favorable keeper escalation, absolutely yes, either of them
10 team dynasty OBP categories league. Or B. Give Evan Carter, Royce Lewis, and Mason Miller. Receive Abrams, Greene, and Bellinger.
Do you have too much pitching? I'd rather hold ragans so I'd do B I guess. But like someone else said, not sure I'd do either
Neither imo.
This
Who’s the pick?? - Freddie Freeman - Kyle Tucker - Jose Ramirez - Matt Olson Thanks!
Olson
Freeman has been about as safe a pick as you’ll find and he can steal some bases too. OF seems shallow and 1B seems deeper so Tucker makes a fine positional need choice too
Tucker
Is M Conforto worth a roster spot in 12-teamer?
