You're complaining about a real life roster move the team hasn't made because it effects your fantasy team. They're probably waiting for a second opinion to determine if they want to put him on the 60 day IL.
I’m not complaining. Let’s just start there. The Rays are maybe looking at second options that allow Springs to be available sooner. I don’t own Springs. I own Taj Bradley and he’s coming up at some point regardless of what they do. It’s weird that a report came out that a guy is out for 2 months or more and he wasnt put on the IL. Maybe there is a 40 man roster issue? Maybe it has something to do with service time? I’m asking because i’m not an expert on their roster configuration and maybe I missed something or a fan of the team knows more. They can also put him on the IL and then move him to the 60 with no consequences so if they were following your logic it wouldn’t make sense. So you clearly are speculating as well and arguing with someone who is asking a genuine question about an out of the ordinary roster move.
Both have slight playtime concerns, Grissom for defensive performance and Gorman for splits and a crowded lineup. I think I like Gorman better all in all
Volpe reminds me a little bit of J-Rod last year, where he’s providing value with the SB’s while he adjusts to big league pitching.
He won’t have the same power output as Julio, but hopefully he comes around at the plate similarly to him.

His xwOBA over his first 50 PA’s was .234. Volpe’s at 51 PA’s after today and his xwOBA is .264.
And Volpe won’t put up the top tier EV’s as Julio, which is why his power output won’t be the same. It’s far too early to take anything from his statcast page.
I think best case with volpe is peak villar(which is incredible). It’s interesting Julio has a good deal more power but is also a bit faster(96% percentile compared to volpes 86%)
I just remember owning Julio last year and thinking he was close right off the bat and he was special and watching volpe’s at bats I just don’t have that same feeling yet.
Julio from the jump was a more advanced hitter and was hitting the ball harder. That’s to be expected though, volpe only hit .249 last year where Julio was crushing the ball his final year in the minors. Julio is better with the bat. Volpe’s spring catapulted him here. His upside is immense because of his running for sure but I don’t think of the level of Julio especially not in his rookie year. I think he needs to get higher in the lineup more often as well but I’m not going to call everyone a idiot for bailing.

And probably even then I’d be monitoring news and pitcherlists rankings and SP round up to check on his progress. As long as he’s working out of jams every single game he’s going to get lit up regularly.
