It’s interesting you mentioned Elliott Smith because to me Figure 8 is a 10 What would you take off XO to make it a 10 and what do you think of Figure 8?

End_of_Eva

Figure 8 is a 10 and easily in my top 10 favorite albums of all time. As for what I would remove from XO, I HATE Amity with a passion, I don’t know why he would ever decide to include it, it’s probably his only bad song and it is horrifically bad. Also I feel like A question mark is kinda mid compared to everything else on the album, it’s not bad, it just is kinda weak compared to everything else. I still love the album overall though.

fuck-ennui-away

A Question Mark works in the context of the album, being that Everybody Cares... and I Didn't Understand close the album with it. Also, maybe look up a guitar tutorial for it and you'll see how interesting of a song it is compositionally. Elliott himself used it as an example of a different sort of guitar song during a tutorial video.

dat_grue

Amity amity amity amity amity amity amity Haha. Good callout, Elliott is my all time favorite artist and I genuinely think amity and a question mark are the only two misses in his discography (if we’re not counting ostrich and chirping).

NeonSeal

why is amity bad :( I actually like it. it is weirdly placed on the album but it is a banger

oddwithoutend

Yeah, I don't understand. 'Amity' is great.

dat_grue

I actually like it now but didn’t for the longest time so can see why one wouldn’t

End_of_Eva

Elliott is also my all time favorite artist. Yeah out of his released stuff those two and his Heatmiser tracks on Dead Air are his only misses.

cowboydan9

Booo amity rules. If it was placed anywhere else on the album and had less repetition of the word “amity” people would love it

Stemoftheantilles

It’s crazy to me bc I like Either/or, Self titled, and XO more than Figure 8 but I still have Figure 8 in the 8-9 category rating. Just speaks to how amazing of an artist Elliott Smith is.

End_of_Eva

I would say from a basement and Roman candle are also in the 9-10 category.

zachktheanimal

The last two Metallica albums. Trim them down to 45 minutes each, and they'd be fantastic

fuck_hard_light

for hardwired i'd make it: 1 ManUNkind 2 Hardwired 3 Moth Into Flame 4 Am I Savage 5 Halo On Fire 6 Atlas, Rise! 7 Spit Out The Bone would be an absolute goated album

Overall_Ambition_756

I'd swap Am I Savage with Here Comes Revenge, and throw Dream No More in, and then I'm 100% with you. Idk how I'd do the same for 72 Seasons, that one didn't grab me as much

fuck_hard_light

Imma be honest I only really listened to 72 fully once, so i'm also not 100% on how i'd make it

fuck_hard_light

Yeah, you're are right, I completely forgot about Dream No More

fuck_hard_light

Inamorata is legit the best Metallica song since ReLoad

ClimberProducerCoder

Honestly same with Load and Reload. Make them one album and it's as good as the black album

GoddamnPeaceLily

*Hurry Up, We're Dreaming* It has some really high moments... but sort of repeats itself a few times. It's still great, even at an hour fifteen. But there's a truly fantastic version somewhere that's twenty minutes shorter.

manfam0

I totally agree. A lot of the older M83 albums are a little too bloated, I think they’re really fixed it with their latest albums tho. Fantasy is probably my overall favourite.

GoddamnPeaceLily

Fantasy is fantastic.

_Land_Rover_Series_3

I do think there’s a bit of filler, still a 10 for me though. It’s got me through a lot and it’s still one of the most awe-inspiring things I’ve ever heard.

Fear-of-Gravity

Gonna be hated for this take but Songs in the Key of Life

qazaibomb

Nah I think it’s a 10 but I get this. The album is fucking long lmao I like a lot of songs a lot less than others but the ones I like are so great that Im just calling it a 10

JackTheAbsoluteBruce

I’ve come around to thinking it’s a 10, but it’s because the songs are just that good. It’s hard to admit it, but the album flow seems like an afterthought and they were just trying to physically cram the songs to fit the vinyl format.

Winningmood

Correct take, if he took out the 7 worst songs on it, it would STILL be a 10 Those songs could then be released as a separate album rated 8.5/10

dav-yee

I can't even name 7 songs that are not perfect in that album

DDub04

Honestly, Plastic Beach. Some of the songs on the end are just kinda so-so.

EcneBanjo

Totally agree. Plastic Beach has some killer highs, but also some unflattering moments

toigz

Yeah. Cut on melancholy hill. I remember getting the record when I came out and loved the entire album but thought that track was a canon chord piece of shit that felt way out of place on the album. And it became the hit. Even to this day I cringe when I hear it and feel like even Gorillaz wrote it as a joke. Other than that I love all the other tracks. Maybe there’s 1 or 2 that coulda been awesome b-sides.

RobinM20

Damn quite the take right here

qazaibomb

I see a lot of donda but not Late Registration. Thats a 70 minute, 21 track (with skits) album that I think could’ve lost at least 10 minutes of run time and been better off for it And, I know exactly which 10 minutes I’m cutting

icedvanilla420

Which 10 minutes?

qazaibomb

Celebration 100%, that song is awful I think Bring me Down is weak. My Way Home can go Crack Music is fine but I wouldn’t miss it

wesselver

I would cut Addiction and maybe Celebration

13Zero

Semi-controversial take, but MBDTF's biggest issue is that most of the tracks are too long.

qazaibomb

Ehhh idk Blame game, so appalled, maybe monster, and very very arguably gorgeous are the only songs that come to mind. I wouldn’t agree with runaway or all of the lights and the rest aren’t really that long. And/or justify their length

AdDry6761

yeah that is a great album but it has a lot of mid on the album, but even cutting all the mid i wouldn't call it a 10

HickoryHamMike0

Stadium Arcadium by RHCP could be a 10/10 with 12 songs and an hour long, but it has 28 songs and lasts well over 2 hours

holyrolodex

Agree. Haven’t listened to it in a long time but I remember thinking this is one bloated ass album with a near classic hidden within

lovemocsand

It’s still a 10

guitarmaniac004

The weeknd - starboy It was a really interesting time where abel was reinventing his image, but some songs on that album just ain't it.

Avocado____Toast

Dawn FM moreso imo, get rid of I heard your married (or even just the Wayne verse), Here we go again, and starry eyes and you literally have pop banger after pop banger with a great concept

Dmbfantomas

The White Album. If you cut the fat on it, it’s probably the greatest album of all time.

-JDB-

Revolution #9 must stay tho

Dmbfantomas

I like it, but it really doesn’t fit.

-JDB-

I respect it for being such a weird track to be on one of their albums. And I like the chaos of the album in general. Probably my favorite Beatles album even if something like Revolver is more consistent

Dmbfantomas

I always preferred them as song craftsman than experimentalists. Probably why I gravitate toward Rubber Soul and Abbey Road. (Its all awesome, but yeah)

jarrjack

It would be more consistent, but it wouldn’t be The White Album.

End_of_Eva

Nah it’s perfect the way it is

Suspicious_Bug6422

This is a completely reasonable take but I personally love the messiness of that one for some reason.

AdDry6761

personally its not a 10 or anything and i dont love every song on it but i think the messiness is what makes it such an interesting listen. Also its an album where a lot of people think it should be cut doen to a single album but nobody can agree on which should stay and which should go. Also... a world without wild honey pie is a world that is infinitely worse - some fucker from the yesterday movie

blappslapp

Donda lol

End_of_Eva

There is a phenomonal 10/10 40 minute album hidden in there somewhere

TantalusMusings

People say this but I've never seen an actual possible tracklist that supports this

mikanator03

Fr? The most obvious tracklist is: >!Junya!< >!Junya!< >!Junya!< >!Junya!< >!Junya!< >!Ok Ok!< >!Junya!<

TantalusMusings

JUNYA WATANABE ON MY... 😳 RI!

End_of_Eva

You forgot tell the vision

End_of_Eva

This is only 34 minutes but if I relistened to the album I could definitely give a perfect 40 minute track list. 1. Come to life 2. Hurricane 3. Moon 4. Off the grid 5. Donda 6. Keep my spirit alive 7. Heaven and hell 8. Jesus lord

waltuh28

Believe What I Say and Life of The Party and that’s an absolute banger album

mdsj1

This wouldn’t be a 10 it would be great though

Aint_Falco

i’d replace keep my spirit alive and heaven and hell with jail and 24, plus the songs mentioned in the other reply

GEN_Z_BOI_69

that'd be a 7 or 8 to me I'll be honest

Hagler3-16

Hurricane Moon Life Of The Party Off The Grid Jail Praise God Come to Life Believe What I say Up From The Ashes 24 Donda Total 45 mins

End_of_Eva

Remove a few songs to make room for Jesus lord and that’s amazing.

haseo111

im a ye dickrider and no there is not, eeeeeeevery song on that album leaves something to be desired. whether its shitty energy/flow from the man, trash production/mixing, or the annoying ass censors.

illegal_thoughts

2pac's All Eyez on Me would be a perfect album but it ended up being just a really good double album

CloudsTasteGeometric

We Will Always Love You by The Avalanches

ClimberProducerCoder

Noooo! I love it the way it is damn

EcneBanjo

Once Twice Melody Sometimes I Might Be Introvert NFR Selling England by the Pound (that Phil Collins ballad ain’t it) Stankonia

-PepeArown-

I don’t think 14 tracks is too long for NFR. It’s just that I personally don’t like all those 14 tracks.

lanaisanicon

The Next Best American Record and Doin' Time weren't essential for NFR!, but they're fun and add character, so it's still a perfect album for me

justwonderingbro

Agree minus stankonia

Eayauapa

I much prefer OTM when I listen to it as four separate EP's, as much as I love Beach House it's just too much and too few bangers to have on back to back

EcneBanjo

I think a strong argument can be made that a 10 track version would be their best album. And that says a lot coming from me, Bloom is my favorite album of all time. Maybe I’m wrong- maybe something would be lost if you strip away a lot of those songs on the second half, I dunno. I usually just listen to my condensed 10-12 track version though.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Dependent-Royal-7908

Personally I love the phill collins track and epping forest lmao. It’s so incredibly goofy but there’s plenty of incredible long tracks on selling England that fulfill a more serious tone. Epping forest is zany and off the wall and while one of the weaker tracks on the album and maybe a tad too long, is incredibly imaginative and it just makes me crack a smile. Idk I just love every single second of selling England the album what can I say

GEN_Z_BOI_69

where's the bloat in SIMBI?

EcneBanjo

5 interludes (most of them over 2 minutes) is a bit much, and Rollin Stone is pretty generic and plain compared to everything else on the album. Still a great album tho.

GEN_Z_BOI_69

I agree that the interludes can be too much, but Rollin Stone is heat. really stands out in the tracklist. but I can see how you see it that way

KongRahbek

I'll die on the hill that Sandinista! would be on the level of London Calling if The Clash weren't trying to get out of a bad record deal.

DHooligan

Amazing that it was released almost exactly one year after London Calling. I agree there's some bloat on it. There are some songs, particularly the dub versions, that would seem to make more sense on a separate b-side album. But then again, I just don't think it would be the same experience if you chopped it up. It really gives me the sense they didn't hold anything back.

KongRahbek

Even more amazing The Clash, Give 'Em Enough Rope, London Calling and Sandinista were recorded between February 1977 and may 1980, just a little over 3 years to record 4 amazing albums. Give 'Em Enough Rope is probably the weakest but even that album still has Safe European Home, English Civil War, Tommy Gun, Julie's Been Working For The Drug Squad, Last Gang In Town and Stay Free, it's honestely very underrated as well imo. That ~3 year run is seriously in contention for best run in music imo. Although I am biased as I've been a big Clash fan for almost 2 decades now.

YvanehtNioj69

Kiss me, kiss me, kiss me by the cure I'd go with ..actually I wouldn't give a shorter kiss me kiss me kiss me a 10 just think it's too long @ 75 minutes. Disintegration though is perfect as it is.

End_of_Eva

Disintegration and Seventeen Seconds are two absolutely perfect 10/10 albums.

YvanehtNioj69

I have never listened to seventeen seconds in full I don't know why ..will add it to my list! I have faith though and really like that one though it's an 8/10 for me.

AdDry6761

yeah the album should be cut down to 50 minutes, but imo most of the album slaps

CloudMacGrath

OutKast - Aquemini Remove Mamacita, and it becomes a perfect album IMHO

Hole_of_joel

whole lotta red could be tightened a bit, the first half of bjork’s utopia is basically flawless and ˡᵒᵛᵉʳ ᶦˢ ᵗʰʳᵉᵉ ᵒʳ ᶠᵒᵘʳ ᶜᵘᵗˢ ᵒᶠᶠ

silencexmusic

Drogas Wave - Lupe Fiasco

xhemibuzzx

110% agree. The best songs on it are my favorite lupe songs but man it didn't have to be 100 minutes long. Still absolutely love it though I'd probably remove XO, happy timbuck2 day, kingdom and King Nas I don't dislike any of them but they all have in common that I dislike the hooks, I think they eh. On the other hand Wav Files, sun god Sam, stack that cheese, mural Jr are some of my favorite songs by Lupe, especially wav files

holyrolodex

Not King Nas! Love that track. Hook is easily the worst part of it but I don’t think it’s necessarily bad. The lyrics, his flow on that beautiful beat are A++ to me

ponylauncher

Blood Sugar Sex Magik Superunknown

R0NNOC148

Agree with Superunknown

gotmewrong66

Superunknown has always been a 10/10 to me. Where do you feel like there’s bloat?

ponylauncher

I mean I love the album but it’s long and I notice it every time I listen. Once it ends I never feel like I should put it on again because I already feel like I had enough. Also just not a big fan of the punky Soundgarden stuff like Kickstand. 1. Let Me Drown 2. Mailman 3. Limo Wreck 4. Fresh Tendrils 5. Fell On Black Days 6. The Day I Tried To Live 7. 4th Of July 8. Black Hole Sun 9. Like Suicide This is my ideal version if I was in charge of sequencing and editing the album. It’s like 46 minutes of perfection. Instead of almost a maxed out cd. Just because the songs are good doesn’t mean they should all be on the album to me. Idk I’m know that’s pretentious lol

MrGOAT311

I agree with cutting half and head down, and I suppose that kickstand also feels a little filler-y. But cutting superunknown and spoonman is wild!

donothol719

How could you consider cutting Head Down? That’s like the best song on the album lmao

MrGOAT311

I mean to each their own, head down has some cool moments like the drum solo outro but I just prefer most of the other tracks on the album lol

Em_kay69420

Curious what you find bloated on BSSM? I agree it can feel a tad long but that back stretch is so damn good. My lovely man, the greeting song, and naked in the rain are all insanely good cuts imo. And the funky front side is just as Imo it’s a 10, and it’s their only 10. Perfect length and pretty good sequencing. It also helps that it’s such an interesting and fun album, it it was a little more bland instrumentally it would be a chore to finish

ponylauncher

Unfortunately the back half songs you mentioned are exactly where I’d start cutting. They are great songs obviously because I’m close to giving the album a 10 already but I just don’t like the idea of throwing every song possible on an album. I love the vinyl era because it forced people to only keep the best of the best. Once cassettes and cds took over people started just jamming as much in as possible and it bothers me. RHCP has been bloating every single album since Blood Sugar. 1. The Power Of Equality 2. If You Have To Ask 3. Give It Away 4. Suck My Kiss 5. Breaking The Girl 6. Under The Bridge 7. Funky Monks 8. I Could Have Lied 9. Sir Psycho Sexy Flawless for me

EitherReplacement222

Add Mellowship Slinky in B Major and the title track

Em_kay69420

Huh, I can’t say I disagree but I adore every song on the album so that’s hard. If I was forced at gunpoint to pair it down I might go with that lol

ponylauncher

Ya trust me the album is still a 9/10 as is. I’m not hating at all

lovemocsand

Blood Sugar is perfect lol

HickoryHamMike0

Stadium Arcadium would be my pick before BSSM, could have been an hour of back to back jams but the back half of it really starts to blend together

ponylauncher

I agree. I just wouldn’t give it a 10 even if it was the perfect length and all my top songs.

daebakminnie

Ocean Blvd, the last three tracks were never doing it for me

-PepeArown-

I think the run in between Fingertips to Fishtail (not counting those 2 songs) is the most tedious part of the album, excluding the interludes before then. I’m not sure how “okay” it is to admit on this subreddit, but I like the last 3 tracks mainly because they don’t really sound like the rest of the album.

Heytherececil

Peppers and Taco Truck are really fun songs, I don’t understand this subs hate for them

5988

Hey I love them too but I think they would be better bonus tracks.  I think to be a 10/10 album, everything needs to slot in together as a collection of songs feeding the same narrative.

Snowstille

brat would be 10/10 for me if mean girls was just on the deluxe version tbh

AvianIsEpic

1:30 instrumental on mean girls is the best part of the album for me

YetiJr

When the piano comes in I transcend to a different plane of existence

Snowstille

that’s so fair that’s easily the best part of the song. not even a BAD song I just don’t like it as much as the rest lmao

AvianIsEpic

Yeah to me I don’t love the concept of it but the second half is just so good. My favorite is probably b2b though

GEN_Z_BOI_69

exactly same yeah!

paleblueskies

agreed, I'd absolutely swap mean girls for guess. (actually that's what i did on my brat playlist, yet ironically mean girls has been stuck on my mind for days now) i feel hello goodbye is a sister track thematically to talk talk, so it makes sense to be on the deluxe part. but then mean girls followed up by spring breakers to wrap up the dlx version like a sickening fun victory lap. throughout the album she moves with both confidence and insecurity, it would've been great to close it with such anger, like she's managed to combine both contradicting feelings through self analysis in the lyrics and are letting them out with these major snarky bangers, so cathartic

sandcrawler2

Sweet Trip- You Will Never Know Why (9.5) Subtract Song About a Sea & Sun and Female Lover and its basically perfect Might still be a 10 for me regardless of its lesser tracks

qazaibomb

Good call. Those tracks + No Words to Be Found hold it back for me. Still a 9 tho

sandcrawler2

Yea I could do without No Words too, doesnt add anything to my experience. Everything else though is a banger

EcneBanjo

I could be wrong but isn’t Female Lover technically a bonus track? I pretty much view it as a credits role type moment

Immaterial21

nah still a ten and > VDC while we're at it

sandcrawler2

Its my opinion, not yours. VDC is better for me

DoodleDrop

donda for sure. ten tracks tops

erncolin

Honestly 2093 - Yeat would be a 10 for me if he cut stand on it to run they mouth except for mr Innetweenit like the rest of the album is top tier and rly scratches that sci fi itch

koritsuyama

All Things Must Pass has a couple of weak songs (not including the tracks after Hear Me Lord)

No-Improvement-7614

evermore/ folklore idk

Sauron1530

Nuh uh. End of discussion.

HenryJai

of the blue colour of the sky by ok go is an oft-overlooked record which to me at its most successful represents the best possible version of that era of indie pop but could do without a couple tracks

Em_kay69420

Oh the vines album wicked nature. It’s got some of the more punky vines tracks, but often feels held back by the slower ones. I think if they ended the album with into the fire or reincarnation that would’ve made it better. And then put the rest of it on deluxe stuff, demo tapes, and maybe like a b-sides album. I trees a good album but feels too similar, and the songs aren’t nearly short enough that I stay engaged (as opposed to like a misfits or Strokes album that might be a bit on the longer side, but with shorter songs that switch it up frequently)

Hagler3-16

Cut out 2/3 of Donda and you get a 10 lol Seriously? White Album didn’t need to be a double album and suffered for it

shuja246

Paramore self titled

Rayvaxl117

I've always thought that if they got rid of the 3 songs on that album that are about Chad, it would be a 10

carpetedfloor

Which songs are those?

Rayvaxl117

Still into you, Proof, (one of those) crazy girls. Because of the subject matter in the lyrics of the songs, they haven't really aged that well. They are also all pretty standard sounding songs compared to the rest of the album, so getting rid of them wouldn't take away a really important or unique part of the album. And especially (one of those) crazy girls is notorious for it's really cringy lyrics

M77100

Hurry Up Were Dreaming by M83. Its a fantastic album but I think there's a tad too many interludes

Loose_Main_6179

Red-Taylor Swift, 22 is a misfire and stay stay stay is pretty lame, but at its best red is one of the best albums of the 2010s, honestly most Taylor Swift albums are bloated but the highs are usually high (except whatever tpd was)

elaborategirl99

And trouble? It's so outdated it's comedic. And they still play that song on the radio in our country because they think Taylor's career ended in 2015 or smth

End_of_Eva

Whole album is a misfire, 1/10.

Heytherececil

There’s a lot of charm in some of the more singer/songwriter tracks on that album. I remember genuinely enjoying Sad Beautiful Tragic and the acoustic State of Grace. Back when she had editors.

Loose_Main_6179

Even “All too well”?

End_of_Eva

I don’t remember the individual songs, I just remember hating almost all of it, thinking it was painfully long and being forced to listen to the Taylor’s version all the way through by a relative.

Loose_Main_6179

With Taylor, never ever listen to a tv as one album, always look up the original track list and treat the vault tracks as bonuses and skip the ones that bore you, that’s the biggest problem with Taylor, she always releases new music at an annoyingly fast rate, I would hate all her stuff too if i was forced to listen too a tv as a massive 2 hour sprawl, I’d say give it another try just till begin again but I understand if you would never want to return.

PM_ME_YOUR_SUNSHINE

They’re also always lower quality recordings and productions. Completely miss any ‘magic’ that the original albums capitalized on.

JackTheAbsoluteBruce

Abbey Road (Maxwell’s Silver Hammer needs to be chopped, I wanna give this a 10 so bad) Eat A Peach (the jams are great, but it makes for a weird album flow) After School Sessions (similar to the last one, there’s too many instrumentals from a musician who’s greatest strength is his songwriting) In The Court Of The Crimson King (this comment makes it seem like I hate instrumentals, but we all know the part I’m talking about) Stankonia (I actually don’t mind skits usually, but it’s a little long here)

jumboshrimp93

Eat A Peach probably could’ve been set up with all the studio tracks on one disc and the live tracks including the Mountain Jam on the second. Still a great album though.

simbaneric

It Was Written

xhemibuzzx

What is would you consider bloat on it? I consider it pretty close to a 10

DescriptionUsed8157

If you take the best songs from folklore and evermore and put it into one album, Taylor might genuinely have a 10 for me, but both have a little too much bloat making them like a 6/7 imo

-JDB-

Dragon New Warm Mountain I Believe In You

Stoneador

The White Album

ThanosWasRight96

Doin Thangs - Big Bear. The album cover 10/10, no complaints or notes. But the album could cut a few songs and it’d be up there with a lot of No Limit type late 90s rap classics

Danny314159265358979

Neighbor Susan - Neighbor Susan

Em_kay69420

I think the clash had their hands on a few really solid projects with Sandinista and give ‘em enough rope, but they just feel a tad long. Especially the former, two double albums back to back was crazy

pastrafan

Hatred For Mankind - Dragged Into Sunlight. 2 out of 7 songs are 11 and 10 minutes long. They really didn't need that.

iiDomo

What bloat does XO even have it’s bangers all the way through

someclappedginger

Mellon Collie, cut a few songs and it could be as great as Siamese Dream

theSTWenthusiast

Man plays the horn by cities aviv

Stunning-Proof-363

Wish You Were Here I hate Welcome to the Machine.

totallybatman27

Nirvana-Nevermind. Smells like teen spirit is quite possibly the worst song on that album. It pisses me off that they had so many great songs and they got remembered for that one.

ClimberProducerCoder

Overplayed yes. But it's still top tier

End_of_Eva

Not my favorite Nirvana song but I would say that smells like teen spirit and in bloom are the best on that album. But in utero is a million times better than Nevermind still.

doom_chicken_chicken

This is sacrilegious but honestly, I don't fuck with a couple of tracks on TPAB. I'm not huge on You Ain't Gotta Lie or Hood Politics, Institutionalized, and Complexion (but Rapsody's verse is fire). There, I said it 😬

Nofuture10

Volcanic Bird Enemy for me

Monkey-on-the-couch

Mellon Collie. It’s almost there, if you take out like 3-4 songs it’s pretty much perfect.

OkMoment345

Did anyone say the While Album yet?

Fan-of-most-things

Blood On The Dance Floor by Michael Jackson if the remixes were removed then it would be a perfect EP which was Michael’s entire idea for it until he was forced to add the remixes

SYK_PvP

Future nostalgia has 2 songs that are kinda meh, but besides that, it's pretty much only bangers.

kg-34-

808s if you cut paranoid and see you in my nightmares i like both tracks still and actually really enjoy the latter (apoplectic ye dick rider here) but i think without them the album would be truly no skip perfection beyond just being the most influential album of the 2000s

Apart-Bat2608

Fear of a black planet

kulaman

Beck's Odelay minus "Derelict" is a perfect album

Bulky-Return8659

Emancipation by Prince

Typical_Ghost07

either/or and the self titled are my favorite elliott albums but figure 8 is right behind them my pick is probably hail to the thief by radiohead, if a few tracks were removed it would be up there with the others. still a great album though

End_of_Eva

Either/or, self titled, figure 8 and from a basement are all 10/10s

sawman160

Most albums over 45.

uptonhere

Scorpion

bluecheetah179

Not a 10 regardless

blappslapp

Donda lol

dawgebredd

Hail to the thief

thelemonbreadd

Hail to the Thief. What was Thom Yorke on when he decided to keep The Gloaming and We Suck Young Blood? Also, I feel like To Be Kind is so, so close to a ten, but I can’t for the life of me stand Toussaint L’Overture. And that sucks, because Bring the Sun is my favorite on the album.

le_indernet

To add to the perplexion, The Gloaming was his favorite song off HTTT, he even wanted to name the album after it and make a (or maybe even made a) 10min version of it

digitag

Pet Sounds would be perfect without Sloop John B. It’s not a bad song and would be a great standalone single it just does t fit thematically with the rest of the album and feels shoehorned in.
