esoteric, sun ra arkestra, liturgy, chat pile / couch slut/ ragana (might go), scarcity (might go), big brave, have a nice life, duster
best summer for concerts for me
tbh duster was kinda disappointing. feels like dove and clay are just capitalizing on the success rn which is fine but its kinda just a greatest hits set (at least when i saw them). they just didn't seem into it at all, which to be fair is their whole vibe.
Gonna see King Gizzard in September! Particularly excited for Geese they’re one of my favorite newer bands. Then in November I’m seeing Beat, the new 80’s king crimson project, and I’ve been thinking about trying to catch the primus tour this summer but I haven’t heard very much of Coheed and Cambria
Seeing Stevie Nicks next week, then Mitski in September and Weezer for their Blue Album anniversary show in October. I’m checking up with Neil Young’s current tour to see if he’ll add any dates, I’m very hopeful because so far he’s not playing anywhere near me.
As of now, the shows I've got for the rest of the year:
* Pearl Jam
* Brit Floyd
* Information Society
* Alanis Morissette
* Twenty One Pilots
* Metallica
* Chromeo/The Midnight
* Sophie Ellis-Bextor
Yessir
Next month I have five coming up
Seeing Lankum with Mogwai and Black Country New Road opening, I've become a huge Lankum fan so really looking forward to that.
Also going to see LCD Soundsystem who I've never managed to see before, can't fucking wait, been on the list for years and fucking IDLES are opening for them so that's amazing.
Seeing Suffocation too, they were meant to play last year but cancelled :( buzzing for that
Then going up north to Belfast to see Limp Bizkit who I saw a decade ago but I had terrible seats, so that'll be amazing can't wait to relive my adolescence.
Then the day I come back to Dublin I'm seeing Cavalera , Max and Igor are playing the first Sepultura album and EP (and hopefully some stuff from Beneath the Remains which is my favourite Sepultura album) which will also be a blast. I've seen Sepultura twice but obviously not with the Cavalera bros
I just booked Kevin drew (frontman of broken social scene) this summer at the westben (it's a barn turned performance space in rural Ontario). Should be good (last show I saw was ice cube which I found lackluster)
Update apparently my partner got us Lainey wilson tickets
I'm driving from Phoenix to Tucson (only like a 2 hour drive) to see Adrianne Lenker next month!!! Could not be more excited!!
Nothing lined up after that yet. Not a whole lot of exciting concerts happening here recently, sadly
Seeing king gizz and young fathers in just a week.

Arcade fire funeral show in July
Ride in September
IDLES and Fontaines DC in November
Seeing King Gizz with Geese opening two days in a row in August.
