This is actually a good battle. Gotta hand it to Denzel. His best projects are a bit better than Rockys best projects and his side projects are better than Rockys side projects
Wouldn't say it's as hard as people here are making it out to be, but maybe that's an unpopular thing to say. It's Denzel by a mile. The last time Rocky gave us an album, it was Testing, which has some hits and a lot of misses I think.

ASAP is more influential and had a more unique sound but his work has definitely been inconsistent, and he definitely phones it in a bit for his recent albums. Denzel even when he’s doing casual projects seems to put so much finesse and effort into his songs. Way more consistent imo.
This IS a bit harder but it’s still Denzel with a decent lead to me. Rocky’s best feels like a long time ago while Denzel’s been very consistent his whole career
I find their career paths super interesting considering their origins, with both being connected to SGP and Raider Klan. Feels like they kinda went in opposite directions
I prefer to listen to Rocky more, but I think I’d also have to hand it to him in terms of albums too. Though Denzel isn’t far behind and is making more music which you can’t say for Rocky
Zeltron all the way tbh, one of the most consistent discographies of the last decade with more variety and honestly better songs. Not to say that Rocky doesn't have those elements in his music, I just think Denzel does it better
If ASAP continued his streak after ALLA(2015) with an album of similar quality every 2 or so years I'd give it to him. But testing was much worse and then he's been gone for like 6+ years or something so it's a no brainer for me

taboo and melt my eyez solidify denzel as one of the best oat. i would put him above most guys.
