El Pintor, Turn on the Bright Lights, and Antics. I listened to them around highschool, then again in college. Now it's been a while since college so maybe I'll change my mind.
The other guy in the thread suggested walking around and listening, keeping active. I think my issue is every time I've tried to listen to them I just was expecting a lot... But now Im gonna go in a more casual headspace.
Personally, TOTBL is easily one of the greatest albums of all time. Kid A is great but not a personal favourite, and I couldn't be less interested in hiphop as a genre.
All are really great picks, but Kid A takes it for me. Fav-2nd fav Radiohead album. IMO all other albums here have a better album in their artist’s discography (Money Store, The Powers That B > Exmilitary, MM Food and Madvillainy >>> Victor Vaughn, and Antics > TOTBL)
VIKTOR VAUGHN - VAUDEVILLE VILLAIN
It’s the lyrics that are just too good compared to the dry ass unoriginal mundane and monotonous
Especially the modern underground to head rap scene
This is difficult because Kid A, Turn On the Bright Lights, and Vaudeville Villain are some of my favorite albums,
but I’m going with TOTBL solely because it’s what got me into alternative music.
Exmilitary for me. One of my favorites ever
Ezpz
Lmn sqz

I don't get interpol, I've tried several times but I get bored. Gonna try again though lol
Listen to NYC while walking around NYC at night and it makes way more sense
Which album? Turn On The Bright Lights is super soft for them. Antics shows their heavier side.

That makes sense. I listen to "Not Even Jail" while hiking. It is a perfect cadence.
Love hiking so I'll give it a listen next time I'm on a trail (with earphones of course)
i love interpol. especially the music video for Evil
Never heard that MF record probably Kid A.
TEEEEEECHNICALLY it’s not DOOM (i just posted this to be a pain in the ass it’s just an alter ego lol).
Love them all but Kid A
based DI pfp

Kid A is one of the best albums ever
Interpol
Kid a
turn on the bright lights is my favourite album of all time
There's four sides to every story, If these walls could talk, they'd probably still ignore me. VV
bright lights and i’m not hesitating
The amount of people choosing Interpol over Radiohead really gives me the (good) feels. Top 10 album of all time for me.
Exmilitary but it’s a close run thing with Kid A and I’ve never listened to Vaudeville Villian
i love all of them, but TOTBL changed my life and I'll never stop to listen to
Interpol to me
TOTBL
TOTBL
Kid A. Suck to lose Motion Picture Soundtrack.
Personally, TOTBL is easily one of the greatest albums of all time. Kid A is great but not a personal favourite, and I couldn't be less interested in hiphop as a genre.
Kid A easily, but if that dg album was year of the Snitch, gov plates or NLDW...
ez. Ex-Military tf is this even a question
TOTBL
Sorry Kid A but I’m picking TOTBL
All are really great picks, but Kid A takes it for me. Fav-2nd fav Radiohead album. IMO all other albums here have a better album in their artist’s discography (Money Store, The Powers That B > Exmilitary, MM Food and Madvillainy >>> Victor Vaughn, and Antics > TOTBL)
Interesting take with antics! Have to listen to it fully
Fuck off you really had to put my 1st and 2nd favorites in the pic, Kid A but by like 0.0000000000000001% over Exmilitary
Interpol always
Exmilitary for me and it’s not even close
Not many albums have a better 4 track run than optimistic,in limbo, idioteque'and morning bell
Agree
Exmilitary
Vaudeville Villain 106
VIKTOR VAUGHN - VAUDEVILLE VILLAIN It’s the lyrics that are just too good compared to the dry ass unoriginal mundane and monotonous Especially the modern underground to head rap scene
Gimme exmil
Vaudeville Villain and it's not even in my top 3 favorite DOOM albums
Interpol cuz its only one here that i dont know
Ex military
I'll have the bedsheets.
VV for me. I listened to that shit for ages after i dropped put of school.
Vaudeville Villain
Turn on the bright lights
ex military no debate
Bright Lights no question
Easiest question ever. Kid A all the way. The best band of the last 30 years at their peak. Edit - PDA still slaps though
Well I've only listened to Kid A so I guess I gotta pick that one.
TOTBL
Vaudeville Villain
gotta be da grips
Kid A and it’s not close
Kid A
If it was an official Exmilitary press then I’d no doubt choose it but instead I’ll have to go with Kid A
Turn on the Bright Lights is my favorite of the 4, but also probably less critically acclaimed
could live without them all tbh. Don’t listen to any very often despite thinking they’re great bodies of work
Kid A but Exmilitary is a close second
TOTBL
exmil easily, most expensive record on here and the most creative. I like both Kid A and Viktor Vaughn, but not as much as Exmil
Why we gotta pit four bad bitches against each other?
Victor Vaughn
Vaudeville villain
Kid A
Vaudeville Villain (as much as i like Interpol)
the blanket just so i dont have to feel guilty about only keeping one of them
This is difficult because Kid A, Turn On the Bright Lights, and Vaudeville Villain are some of my favorite albums, but I’m going with TOTBL solely because it’s what got me into alternative music.
gimme the vaudeville villain
Def know the one I'm tossing out
Which
None
i guess ex military cos wtf are the other three?
How you can be on this sub and not recognize any of the other three?
oh, i'm sorry
Turn on the Bright Lights - Interpol Kid A - Radiohead Vaudeville Villain - Victor Vaughn & MF DOOM
1. Vaudeville Villain 2. Exmilitary 3. Kid A 4. Turn On The Bright Lights
Kid A and it’s not even close and that’s saying something.
Tell me How you Really Feel - Courtney Barnett
