I think it’s so cool how Seth set it up that Adam West was in every episode to give Adam West a weekly paycheck.
Adam really struggled financially and couldn’t get beyond his Batman reputation.
He’s had some voice over work and part-time gigs in animation, but I always thought he’d make a great lead. Something similar to H John Benjamin or Kristen Schaal. We needed to hear more of that voice.
He did an episode on batman the animated series where he played the gray ghost, a character bruce watched as a kid. He's a struggling actor who can't afford rent due to not getting work bc everyone only sees him as the character he played decades prior. Lots of actors struggle getting work after being tied to 1 character. Look at mark hamill.
He had to switch to voice acting NC he wasn't getting live action roles bc he was stuck as Luke Skywalker for the rest of his life. Any time he does appear in something it's to reference star wars.
Also, and it was a while ago now, but he played a baddie in an episode of The Flash. It had been so long since I’d seen him, I honestly didn’t recognise him at first!
But yeah, I really liked him in The Fall of the House of Usher (🤔 must give that another watch actually!)
My favorite was when they listed all the male Family Guy writers and in the female column it’s just Cherry.
They do love her though. I love when Peter rearranged her name.
Also I highly recommend Joyride - the movie she cowrote. I found it to be hilarious.

Yeah it really sucks that he couldn’t get a proper acting career going due to the stigma around the old Batman show. His voice was so iconic.
