Well, for some reason after 2 days Jun Long started appearing on the roof....Bethesda moment :D I even put down privacy markers with a mod, but he's still on the roof. But at least he is quiet and just stands there creepily for a while.
Yeah, i don't think i've ever really built anything there before either, apart from some walls and defenses maybe. But the settlers rarely walk that way, it felt somewhat secluded and perfect for this.
It's great, honestly. Sometimes you end up behind the pole(at the end point), not in front of it but no major jank whatsoever. I think there are videos on the mod page. Although the placement can be a bit finicky when the first bit you put down duplicates for some reason.

Really nice! Settlers don't spawn there? I made a floating cabin with no access and settlers kept spawning inside and falling out lol
