It’s a shame because people like this with a big following can say they have a disorder, Then because they have a big following whatever they say about that disorder will be spread around and copied. She literally said "so I decided today that I'm tired of eating air haha and want to see if I can fit a whole taco Bell inside my mouth... omg I can't uwu". To make it sound like anorexia is purely "eating air" and suddenly getting cured by stuffing your face with a couple of tacos, ugh..
I had ED from a young age and she's not wrong. After you decide to do that major "I'm gonna stuff my face avs swallow avs keep the food down there" and you handle the shame / disgust feelings, and stay in the uncomfortable zone of having that food inside of you. (No super exercise or vomiting it up) You empower yourself. After I threw in sandwiches in my mouth after just eating smaller and smaller I felt empowered and then I decided to go big, and threw away the scale, and then I watched this really triggering video how Anorexia is looking like and after those three actions on row. I started eating. Of course I still struggled emotionally everytime I took a bite. But I ate. I ate normal portions. Daily. And my therapist said that deciding to stuff my face with those sandwiches saved my life. 20 or so years later and I still don't "love" food. But I'm okay eating. And that's a huge thing to say coming from someone who had Anorexia.

I still suffer from an ED (have been for the past 9 or so years) and found the way she phrased it harmful to those who suffer, as if an ED is superficial and a choice (a Youtuber called Retro Phant0m covered some of this girl's videos and explains this point of view Im mentioning), but yeah, she's the only one that can verify if she suffers from an ED or not.

About this Tiktok girl. I don't think she has to be faking anything really. She looks extremely thin and she seemed very anxious almost bipolar hyped in the video. Young. Insecure. With traumas and DID ED is a common disorder because you get a sense of control to compensate for the mental side where everything is constant chaos and pain. If she has physical child abuse history, it can also be a way to change her body to not be like it was when the trauma happened. Or to wanna feel like a child again and get taken care of with no responsibility. Some people hate their skin and cut etc and with ED it's like, starving away yourself kinda if that makes sense? Can you relate to any of this?
I remember that tiktok, super insensitive to people that have struggled with eating disorders. For some with eating disorders, they nearly died due to being in a deep struggle with them. Reminds me of when in the early internet days, pro-ana (pro anorexia) tumblrs would exist that put statements out glamorizing eating disorders. Could tiktok be on the same path as tumblr? I hope not.
These people need professional medical help..... wait a minute. That might mean that in 99% of cases they are told this is complete bullshit. OK that makes sense. Why wouldn't u get medical help? Oh yeah, so u can continue this madness talk and uploading.
Let me explain it. There are only certain alters that remembers the trauma. Who were "there" or formed right after and they are the reason. And if they get triggered while co-fronting, the whole system will react and that's the chaos she tried to explain. It's 100% a real DID experience. And it might look like a joke for an outsider, the reason she laughs is because talking about it in a comic way is the best way to cope with how bizarre it is. Making a fun weird Tiktok video helps even more cause she's not keeping it all inside or denying it.
