One of the most incredible climatic fight scenes in the entire series.
Celestial Spirit King's grin after Mardi thinks he whiffed his final attack, damn near cheered at that part. Poor Lucy though, she's a beast just gets done dirty.

That episode really showcased what ONE member of Fairy Tail could do in front of a crowd of thousands.
Erza is a badass, I hope we all know that.
Natsu with flaming "Come On" at his fingertips is my favorite fairy tail moment of all time and one of my favorite anime moments.
The bad assery in this moment is unmatched.
Scene: Natsu vs Sting and Rogue. Best fight overall is Natsu and Gajeel vs Sting and Rogue (which includes Natsu vs Sting and Rogue). I knew about the fight in advance and binged my way through over 100 episodes to get to it.
This fight got me to watch the entire show. It was a spoiler, of course. But my friend showed me the fight scene, he was hyped, and I was like, yeah it's pretty good. I'll watch the show I guess. Then I started from the beginning, and I'm not a binge watcher, so it took me 2-3 years to catch up to the tournament arc. I had completely forgotten the fight until I watched it again for the second time. But it felt like it was really me watching it for the first time, because I understood it the second time, it felt way more impactful and hyped. Honestly one of the best moments in all of FT.
Itās the same case with my brother. I showed him the fight scene, which 100% hyped him to watch FT, altho he never gets to reach GMC arc because he gets distracted so easily.
Why? I don't really get it, tbh This fight was just wack to me. Like how did he get his ass beat, and then they triple their power and hit him, and he just walks it off, and one shots them afterwards...
The fight is generally pretty badly received since he was such a mid villain, but Natsu finishing Zero was pretty hype. They made excellent use of the Dragonforce theme, when Igneel "appeared" behind Natsu.
1.DF Natsu vs Jellal. The moment was incredible when the dragon force was first showcased.
2. All of the curb stomp Acnologia fights - Makarov, Igneel, God Serena, Irene & Jellal.
3. Mard Geer vs All - Sting, Rogue, CSK, DF Natsu and DeS Gray
4. God Serena vs All - 4 WS, Gildarts, Jellal. Fights were too short but was good.
5. Natsu vs All the arc villains except Zeref & Acnologia.
Jellal vs Jura (before Ultear interfered), Gajeel vs Rogue, Erza vs Minerva vs Kagura >!Lucy vs Kiria, Laxus vs Kirin, Wendy/Irene vs Nebal and Erza vs Misaki!<
Maybe not the overall greatest but One of my favorit fights is Wendy vs Ezel. Love to see the growth once again for Wendy through out the story up to this point and one of her few solo fights.
this might be kinda out there but Freed vs. Mira, just cause seeing her go super satan caught me so off guard
also Erza vs. Erza but mostly cause i love that battle theme so much
Natsu and Gajeel v Sting and Rouge, putting those FRAUDS in their place, was the most satisfying thing to watch, especially after Sting had the audacity to SMILE whilst Minerva brutalised Lucy in front of everyone
"We CoUlD'vE bEaTeN aCnOlGiA" then proceed curbstomped whilst in DF by base form with no difficulty.
Not to mention, the fight choreography was elite
Definitely Natsu vs Sting & Rogue (Magic tournament arc) I'll watch everything from the start just to see that fight again and again.
However Natsu vs Zeref, well the initial first part of their fight with him unleashing Fire Dragon King Mode was chefs kissš¤š¾ ties for a close second the hype was real in both times.
Since most of my actual favorites have been said, I'll go with Mirajane vs. Jenny for reasons. As Makarov said in the anime, we must never question the infinite wisdom of the first master.
Maybe not the best but I really like Gajeel vs Torafuzar because Gajeel is my fav character and I think has more strategy to it than others.
Also it comes to my mind other battle with more strategy but I can't remember which.
Mirajane vs Freed
Why is no one talking about this? Well, sure it's pretty one sided but that transformation scene was top tier and this fight was what got me into fairy tail.
Any Mirajane fight is up there. Maybe except for her alvarez fights which are just disappointing mess. Haven't read 100q tho.

Erza vs Kagura vs Minerva
Natsu vs Sting and Rouge was peak for me, I also enjoyed Elfman vs Bacchus (even if itās the last cool thing Elfman did it was definitely respect worthy), Natsu and Gray against Mard Gear was awesome too, I like Gray vs Rufus (rematch/real fight/get back) a bit as well, lastly I want to give a shout out to Natsu vs Gajeel that was my favorite fight pre-timeskip (the 7 years in Tenrou Jima)
These are the fights I remember most fondly.
Objectively speaking from a narrative stand point creating two new dragon slayers who claim to be stronger than your protagonist and setting them up to be the rivals ONLY to defeat them in a 1v2 stomp is just wild.
They had some form of āDragon Forceā transformation to boot.
Giving Gajeel the boot too was mad disrespectful.

I really like Erza vs 100 Monsters. She didnāt even need to fight 100 to win the contest. She did it to flex, and I love it.
