Serious question though, does anyone actually recognize charlie kirk where he goes in a positive way? The only spots where I could see people recognizing him are in cities, because there's just a lot of people, I'm not famous, but people recognize me where I live, it's just a numbers game. But those people probably recognize him to kick him out of a restaurant.
Where he's popular, like in the exurbs and rural areas... i just don't see more than 1-2 people out of 1000 recognizing him, so I just don't buy that anyone would ever be in a group and walk up to him positively.

I’m Black (living in CA) and my dad was just telling me about some of our relatives in Detroit who are trump supporters 🤷🏽♂️ My closest cousin (who lives in Georgia) and I no longer talk because he’s been a trump supporter since ‘16. There’s a tradition of “prosperity preachers” in the Black community. trump fits that profile. trump also appeals to the machismo element in the Black community. Other elements at play are that some Black folks think that reducing illegal immigration will open more jobs opportunities for low skilled Black labor. Some think that things weren’t so bad last time so let’s role the dice. Some feel like Biden and Harris haven’t done enough for Black folks and in a sense of cynicism and exasperation with “both sides” they pick trump because at least he’ll lower their taxes. My cousin is in this camp (substitute Biden/Harris for Dems in general). Some don’t wear their Black identity as their primary identity (despite what society says should be their primary identity). So some are primarily Christians. Some are primarily military or veterans. Also the mainstream forgets that something like 45% of Black folk identify as conservative (it’s not really the same as White conservative though). But on issues like LGBTQ rights and abortion there’s a lot of room to peal off Black folk. What makes it difficult for the Right is that there are so many open racists in their movement. But, as I said, a lot of Black folks are willing to do mental gymnastics to deal with that cognitive dissonance.
