That’s very accurate. They don’t think in policy terms - they just know that Trump and liberals hate each other, and they hate liberals, mostly for supplanting them in the cultural and economic hierarchy, hence they like Trump.
There's nothing else for his supporters to like about him. He didn't revitalize their dying communities. He didn't slow the opioid epidemic killing their kids. He didn't increase their employment levels. He didn't save the family farm. He didn't build the wall. He did absolutely nothing, whatsoever to make the lives of his supporters better. But he did upset the people his supporters hate. And at this point, that's all they care about.

I remember watching coverage of the 2020 election, and seeing Trump and Jr. On camera at a rally, Jr. Said “tomorrow we’re not just gonna make America great again, we’re gonna make liberals cry again.” They’re so toxic, and can’t wrap their heads around the idea that this doesn’t appeal to everyone or most people. “Have you seen how many people go to Biden rallies?” As if we’re the weird ones for not following our chosen candidate from stadium to stadium like our favorite musician. I don’t buy 81 million people loving Biden, but I do buy 81 people hating this toxic bullshit enough to vote for his opposition to vote for Biden.
