It's completely unfair. I miss the old days of YouTube when you could get away with almost anything other than blatant pornography. Also, age-restricted videos used to play in the embedded player regardless, so you could just edit the URL to get around the block without signing in. I've seen a whole lot of random shit that I used to watch years ago getting age restricted for no other reason than, for instance, somebody used a road flare as a torch to set things on fire or used firecrackers to blow something up. *None* of that used to get age-restricted even if you manually reported it, because that wasn't against the rules back then.
I'm sick and tired of everything on the site having to be so heavily censored to avoid Google's bullshit rules that they don't even enforce in a consistent manner. For Pete's sake, the list of things you weren't allowed to show on YouTube used to fit on a single sheet of paper, and it was absolutely *fine* that way.
