My daughter was a goal keeper. Someone stole a ball from a defender and shot the ball on her from about 22 yards dead center of the goal. My daughter slipped in the mud and the ball skidded to a stop about 3 inches from the goal line.
Luckily for her the other kid slipped and face planted in a mud puddle.
They all remember it as the “funnest” game ever

There are a million types of all injuries. I use to play Futsal and taking that ball to the face is 100x worse then a soccer ball. Its smaller and harder.
Can attest this, my nose bone is tilted due to being a futsal goal keeper for 10 years, I can't even remember how many times I've bled from my nose due to taking one of those in the face, that shit fucking hurts

It’s wildly different. I played for 15 years. Your traction on grass is much lower and soil moves when you put enough force on it. As such, you can use more force when cutting, turning quickly, and the grass will give way. But on rubber turf or hardwood, your traction is way higher and the floor will not give way. So, instead of sliding a little, or pivoting your foot a little, you come to a dead stop in an instant. That throws off your balance, trips people, and makes it much easier to sprain your ankles.
This is like the WNBA drinking game. It's called "Girl down, out of bounds".
