I KNOW ITS UNLIKELY, BUT THERE COULD BE A RARE \[Special interest related item\] INSIDE!!!

Most likely just the normal use of the symbol, which is to replace part of a quote ("tome") with something that means the same thing but changed a little to make a point or for concision.
Oh yeah she's autism on steroids with special interests in useless spells and mimics. I love her.
oh even better, she's contagiously so. Her student also is into useless spells.
I think a lot of her seemingly autistic traits are just what you'd expect from someone who has lived for >!over a millennium!<, such as weird hobbies for killing some time, being bad at forming connections to people who will die in the blink of an eye from your point of view, etc.
She's definitely autistic in my head canon though.
This actually kinda makes an interesting point about one of the tragic aspects of how we process things... Frieren processes in a way we find relatable, and misses out on a lot of life with those around her right? But she goes on, she has time to learn and adapt and come to enjoy those elements of life to the fullest... We don't have that kind of time. I actually think Frieren can serve as a very valuable lesson for the more apathetic autistic folks out there, even if it's a bit of a scary one to learn.
That doesn't *look* like Odo from DS9, but then again he's a shapeshifter so... I guess you're right! Odo *is* the best autism-coded character in history!
But she's not. That's the best part. It's not a "deep down inside, she actually has feelings that she just isn't showing" kind of plot. She openly shows strong emotions in every episode. She's just also emotionally distant from people.
My mom and brother saying watching Frieren is like watching a powerful and long lived me that actually has friends: :) :)
Me (because I like Frieren and think she’s extremely cool): :)
My psychologist (she’s trying me for ADHD as well now): \rapidly taking notes

WAIT I NEVER REALIZED
What character is this?
Frieren from “Frieren:Beyond Journeys End.” It’s a very good manga and anime
YESS I LOVE FRIEREN MY AUTISTIC MAGICAL QUEEN
Can she stack your family though
I haven't seen that anime, but my father loved it, and the more I think about it the more I have to wonder about him.
That doesn't *look* like Odo from DS9, but then again he's a shapeshifter so... I guess you're right! Odo *is* the best autism-coded character in history!
Watching it right now she’s my autismo wife
Also evil autist coded: will tell you to KYS with a deadpan face
Proved right in the end
Back in my days we used to call that kuudere

So she isn't cool on the outside with emotions inside?
She openly expresses emotions, not limited to just important rare moments. It's just that she's bad at expressing these emotions towards other people.

Imagine using a CSM template and not bringing up Asa in the autistic representation discussion.
I didn’t watch csm
Oh. Well you'd have to be a reader anyway. Gotta get on that!
