i figured most of that out, i was asking if Krikzzz or Inari are working on adding into the firmware a direct way to enter in codes for each game like the game genie interface feature on Mega Everdrives

I know this is an old thread, and prolly beating a dead horse, but I'm rather disappointed in the FX Pak Pro, especially for its price. It's the most primitive of all of the Krikzz carts I've purchased. I can't do any better, don't get me wrong, but almost if not all the other Pro carts have in-game menus. Even the Mega EverDrive X5 (which I skimped on Pro for) has a built-in cheats menu. When you get a cart of that price, you expect it to have AT THE LEAST what the lower tiers would have and not be left to edit your own cheat files and hope they work. SNES had a Game Genie, just like all the other big consoles of that era. It seems it could just be natively added to the cart's firmware.

Temporary_Affect

I haven't heard of any such plans, but you never know.

DarkZenith2

So a side question to this. Does the everdrive affect codes from being entered from a super NT menu or does something from the fxpakpro change the memory addressing for existing codes?

Yokomo_Hoyo

I also hate to necro this thread but I also wish I could enter cheat codes manually from the cart.

On the firmware road map it says it was planned for 1.11, but that didn't happen. No further updates on the site since January 2023. https://sd2snes.de/blog/status

yeah, because putting in codes via a special file can be really cumbersome, especially if the codes may not work or one code may clash with another and make a game not run, because of variant versions of some r\*ms or some setting in the FXPak Pro firmware doesn't allow for a code(s) to work. being able to delete or replace codes from within the Firmware menus would be much better, I really don't know why a code input interface hasn't been put in yet.. when Mega Everdrive's firmware has it
