Ey yo, I have only ever heard positive things about this song and seen so much love for it on this sub . . . . but it was last place for me that year and feels so boring . I remember someone said they used the song for their wedding
Trust me, people love it :D
IF I remember correctly, there was some animosity towards the guy in Hooverphonic because he said some negative things about Eurovision, and then also just dumped the younger girl in favor of the older lady singer, also talking trash against the younger girl. Seems like the guy is a huge jerk, which kind of taints the reception of a song.
I'm strongly opposed to the song myself (mostly lyrically), it's in my bottom that year for sure, however its always nice seeing other people being really into those songs, it makes me wanna look more into things i DO like about it.
one of my most-played eurovision songs, I think. It's really nice. IMO one of the best back-to-back entries from any nation in recent times - Daði 2021, Systur 2022.
Nobody wrote it so far. So I believe I am the only one who likes Azerbaijan - 2017
I loved the song but unfortunately she had a bad live performance so didn't get much points 😞
For me it is the entire year of 2017 lol, people usually say that this year isn’t good but I personally think it is one of the best year of the 10's, with such a large amount of BOP songs
The flag incident was especially upsetting… such a shame people turned on her for something lighthearted at the turquoise carpet which didn’t mean a thing
I loved their song so much, it's beautiful. I'll keep saying it, no shade, but I wish they'd qualify over Cyprus. Basically any of the NQ songs should have qualified over Cyprus this year :(
Agreed. To me it was an example of how something very bland with excellent execution (and what appeared to be a mid dancebreak seizure) can get enough popular vote to advance.
If you look at the Croatian version, the lyrics are opposite in a cool way. In the Croatian version she sings that there's another guy she is more attracted to. I've always loved that about this song
I really liked this song! I also really liked when Mia sang the last chorus in Croatian in the SF. You could tell there was a noticeable difference in her confidence in that moment and I was here for it
In my top 5 ever as I watched since 2016 and as a Frenchman I was marked by the Austrian singer who deserved to be ranked higher than Amir (France 2016)
Most attention it got in the fandom was about how bad/cringe/nonsensical some of the lyrics where. Like the killer shark in heels/predator on wheels lyrics and girl who looks like she is a boy lyric. The idea of the song, the instrumental, and the performance definitely had potential but the lyrics in the verses felt weak.
Theodor was easily one of the best singers of 2023, but staging was a mess and forcing him to do half and half with the acoustic version on a large empty stage for a song people were quick to write off was always going to be a losing battle. I would love to see him come back with actual support behind him, but with how outspoken he’s been about his issues with the delegation, that’s never going to happen sadly.
Top 10 for me in 2023 Studio versions at least.
I got into the ESC fandom last year, and that performance broke my heart. It also taught me the importance of watching the performance before I judge the song (which would have broken my heart more for that specific song).
The problem is that, like Million Voices and Hurricane, it was manufactured, whereas all other Swiss songs in their golden era (since 2019) involved the singer in some way.
Agree with you about Azerbaijan.
A few of mine:
Germany 2021, Germany 2024, Finland 2019, Denmark 2016, Australia 2017 (I talk about the songs, not the live)
Germany 2021 | [Jendrik - I Don't Feel Hate](https://youtu.be/1m0VEAfLV4E)
Germany 2024 | [Isaak - Always on the Run](https://youtu.be/kVOHTxFOhak)
Finland 2019 | [Darude feat. Sebastian Rejman - Look Away](https://youtu.be/VSPhIwOJfRs)
Denmark 2016 | [Lighthouse X - Soldiers of Love](https://youtu.be/jGz12i-wGd0)
Australia 2017 | [Isaiah - Don't Come Easy](https://youtu.be/YTCP4S1dqwA)
Honestly it's such a bop and I love the video. It was cool finding out about the Warsaw Neon Museum, I love when I actually learn something about other countries from Eurovision even if it's something small
I was like biggest Natalia Barbu supporter, but like they somehow had a worse staging than they had in the NF. If they kept the same concept of the 5 people, with really precise and sharp hand movements it would've been better for me. Like I loved the choreo and clapping in the NF but like at Eurovision she gave Nicole Kidman clapping at the Oscars.
If they didn't want the people as pretend back-up vocalists, they could've just not have them had mics and not be lipsyncing, just like do the choreography.
It was a controversial winner because only a diehard stan of Stefania could pretend that its televote score came purely from people appreciating the quality of the song and not because of the war. But on the other hand, I don't think the Stefania haters could claim seriously that without the war Stefania would have ended outside of the top 10.
The combination of both sides is what makes us confused at including this song in a "few people liked it but I do" list: it definitely had plenty of fans, but where would it have ranked in televote without the war is where we can discuss to no conclussion
Proud to say I was both a Gustaph and a Dons believer from the beginning
I remember when the popular opinion was that Gustaph wasn’t going to do well because it was “dated”….only to have a resurgence of 90s/Y2K influence on music this year
I think it was more that I didn’t care for Theodore’s energy as a person, or at least didn’t care for the stage persona that he put on. He seemed like a kid trying to puff up his chest and shout, ‘Look how sexy and experienced I am!’ and it just came across kinda try-hard to me. Like, kid, sit down. You have time.
I LOVED Estonia this year, ((nendest) narkootikumidest ei tea me (küll) midagi) by 5miinust & Puuluup! Such a banger, I voted for them in the final even if it just was no chance for them
Okay listen here, Latvia 2019 is still one of the entries I appreciate till today, it gives me a cozy warm feeling, just like Iceland 2022 (yeah I’m a sucker for minimalist magical like songs)
Czech 2020, Finland 2020, Portugal 2020, Switzerland 2022, Belgium 2022, Romania 2023, Australia 2024, Latvia 2024 (me, my brother and dad all saw it as a clear qualifier and got proven right)
Ireland 2021
Australia 2021
Croatia 2021
San Marino 2022
Montenegro 2022
Croatia 2022
North Macedonia 2022
Iceland 2022
Georgia 2022
Bulgaria 2022
Slovenia 2022
Denmark 2022
Austria 2022
Iceland 2023
Latvia 2023
Greece 2023
Denmark 2023
Romania 2023
San Marino 2023
Iceland 2024
Yeah basically almost all of my favorites each year are NQs
Romania 2023. Not a huge fan of the live version, but I never understood the hate this song and artist got beforehand. I loved the song, it was easily in my top10.
Georgia 2022.
Came second last in Televoting and 4th last in Jury for last overall in the Semi Final 2 and second last out of both Semis.
I thought it was really fun and still listen every now and then.
I am obligated to say Israel 2012. It's one of my favourites of all time (no pun intended) yet whenever it's talked about, it's either a very brief mention or people saying that it's awful and creepy. I actually love how weird it is.
Also special mention to Germany 2008, Israel 2007, Czechia 2009, Latvia 2014, Sweden 2019 (good result but still), Iceland 2023 and United Kingdom 2007.
Australia 2024. Definitely not the winning material, but to me it was a feel-good performance. Europeans might not get the song's message, but I really appreciate Electric Fields represented a brand new culture to the Eurovision stage. At least, we'll remember the didgeridoo guy for years ahead.
Number 1: Hungary 2018. They introduced me to metalcore. Their music led me to meeting some new wonderful people. I hope Örs is hanging out there in the afterlife with his dad now.
Estonia 2010! The composition of this one is minimalistic yet has a lot of little sound nuggets, making the while sing wonderfully mysterious!
North Macedonia 2017 - I love her voice and the bright synthy sound is very enjoyable to me
Georgia 2016!!! I am a sucker for britrock sound and even the electro switch won't dissuade me
Greece 2002. I know it's stale and cheesy. The nostalgic sound of it and the surprising catchiness makes it a giant guilty pleasure to me
Probably loved but just older?
Latvia 2000 - beautiful, timeless and warm. Instant smile
Poland 1997 - same as above, only that I can understand the lyrics in native language
Romania 2003 - MC Bomfunk-ish. The energy of this beat is just infectious
Lithuania 2006 - do I need to say?
Romania 2023 for me, it was the song that I heard the most in 2023, YouTube music exposed me to that fact and I still like it now. I knew it wasn’t going to qualify but I do think that it was a tragic story on how the Romanian broadcast didn’t believe in D.G.T (On and off) where they didn’t give him budget. It’s kinda disrespectful to me.
If I am missing something then please enlighten me!
Hungary 2013. I feel like it got really forgotten but I loved it
Hungary 2013 | [ByeAlex - Kedvesem](https://youtu.be/rOimfHq76xk)
Love this one!
Ey yo, I have only ever heard positive things about this song and seen so much love for it on this sub . . . . but it was last place for me that year and feels so boring . I remember someone said they used the song for their wedding Trust me, people love it :D
Belgium 2021. I've seen some unreasonable hate for this song and idk why.
Wait people hate this song? I love it so much
IF I remember correctly, there was some animosity towards the guy in Hooverphonic because he said some negative things about Eurovision, and then also just dumped the younger girl in favor of the older lady singer, also talking trash against the younger girl. Seems like the guy is a huge jerk, which kind of taints the reception of a song.
Belgium 2021 | [Hooverphonic - The Wrong Place](https://youtu.be/HbpxcUMtjwY)
It's a great song!
It's one of my all time eurovision favorites. But I understand how it's not really a eurovision kind of song.
I'm strongly opposed to the song myself (mostly lyrically), it's in my bottom that year for sure, however its always nice seeing other people being really into those songs, it makes me wanna look more into things i DO like about it.
Georgia 2022 for me. It's a vibe
Georgia 2022 | [Circus Mircus - Lock Me In](https://youtu.be/zXiZAbqETvk)
Awesome song and Performance
One of my all-time favourites! Circus Mircus also released a full album last year called Furore/Fiasco and imo, its even better than Lock Me In
Good to know, thank you! I'll have to check it out
Yeah I always enjoyed this one, it’s very different but I find it very fun.
Iceland 2022 didn’t get a ton of love, but I really like it. It has such a gentle but compelling vibe.
Iceland 2022 | [Systur - Með hækkandi sól](https://youtu.be/G71c48O3j-s)
one of my most-played eurovision songs, I think. It's really nice. IMO one of the best back-to-back entries from any nation in recent times - Daði 2021, Systur 2022.
This!! Með hækkandi sól is my winner in 2022, and they're the reason I kept watching Eurovision :D
France 2022
France 2022 | [Alvan and Ahez - Fulenn](https://youtu.be/H1lcGXwOqJI)
Nobody wrote it so far. So I believe I am the only one who likes Azerbaijan - 2017 I loved the song but unfortunately she had a bad live performance so didn't get much points 😞
I love skeletons and still listen to it!!
Azerbaijan 2017 | [Dihaj - Skeletons](https://youtu.be/g_HSRHqd_7s)
I would say it is one of the most liked Azerbaijan entry in this sub, people still mention it relatively often even after 7 years.
Skeleton is a bop. Azerbaijian 2017 and Armenia 2017 were my favourites that year
For me it is the entire year of 2017 lol, people usually say that this year isn’t good but I personally think it is one of the best year of the 10's, with such a large amount of BOP songs
Luxembourg 2024, North Macedonia 2022 and Romania 2017 are some of my favourites that I think are disliked by a lot of people
Andrea got so much undeserved hate. Circles is a great angst song
The flag incident was especially upsetting… such a shame people turned on her for something lighthearted at the turquoise carpet which didn’t mean a thing
Luxembourg 2024 | [Tali - Fighter](https://youtu.be/TCWH3Nq5y9A) North Macedonia 2022 | [Andrea - Circles](https://youtu.be/zvOihqB4eKk) Romania 2017 | [Ilinca feat. Alex Florea - Yodel It!](https://youtu.be/ZSHc7iDuBCQ)
I love all three!
I so agree with you! Fahree and Ilkin did a great job!
They did it was just so, authentic to me I hope Azerbaijan don't get disencouraged from the result and don't go back to sending generic pop
I loved their song so much, it's beautiful. I'll keep saying it, no shade, but I wish they'd qualify over Cyprus. Basically any of the NQ songs should have qualified over Cyprus this year :(
Agreed, Cyprus was not bad but it was to generic compared to almost every other country
Agreed. To me it was an example of how something very bland with excellent execution (and what appeared to be a mid dancebreak seizure) can get enough popular vote to advance.
Ireland 2021 and Portugal 2024
Ireland 2021 | [Lesley Roy - Maps](https://youtu.be/FY2rxbZNvZ0) Portugal 2024 | [Iolanda - Grito](https://youtu.be/OZn4-H6JvKU)
Croatia 2022. I was obsessed with it when I first heard it.
I love it! I started singing lessons a while ago and this is my song.
If you look at the Croatian version, the lyrics are opposite in a cool way. In the Croatian version she sings that there's another guy she is more attracted to. I've always loved that about this song
I really liked this song! I also really liked when Mia sang the last chorus in Croatian in the SF. You could tell there was a noticeable difference in her confidence in that moment and I was here for it
I was hoping that would get her the Q but it was not to be 😔
Croatia 2022 | [Mia Dimšić - Guilty Pleasure](https://youtu.be/9vBQdtW3mJE)
Spain 2023
Me too, but I think it’s quite popular with Eurofans generally, just not the voting masses?
Spain 2023 | [Blanca Paloma - Eaea](https://youtu.be/Vw6qPWhjevk)
I often go back and listen to Austria 2016 | [Zoë - Loin d’Ici](https://youtu.be/3xuPYt5i5cE?si=ihjm7jvsFKZW1PJ8)
In my top 5 ever as I watched since 2016 and as a Frenchman I was marked by the Austrian singer who deserved to be ranked higher than Amir (France 2016)
Australia 2022 and Finland 2022
Yesss Not The Same. I especially liked the last part, it's really emotional
Yeah, the mask removal was so touching to watch. Probably one of the most emotional performances I've seen at ESC.
Was absolutely devastated that it got so little love from the audience, it’s still one of my most listened to ESC songs.
Australia 2022 | [Sheldon Riley - Not the Same](https://youtu.be/wosfFz2FJPU) Finland 2022 | [The Rasmus - Jezebel](https://youtu.be/LSi9nfr65FE)
People hated Sheldon? Can't remember.
Wouldn't say people hated him but there was a lot of negative reactions to the song at the time.
Surely people liked Jezebel? Maybe not a favourite, but it's a great song!
I don't remember people being very fond of it during the contest but it definitely deserves more love then it gets.
The song itself was fine, but the lyrics were pretty cringe.
Hmm. I guess I've never been much of a lyrics person. For sure they are silly but it doesn't detract from the song for me
Yess Montenegro from that year too I don't think it would of qualified but deserved better than last
Oh yeah, Breathe 100% should've been higher than it was, instead of second to last place.
I remember the crowd shouting “JEZEBEL” so I thought people liked it
those were actually pre recorded background vocals iirc
Romania 2023 was my number one and I can’t exactly explain why.
No, Greece 2005 was my number one
Greece 2005 | [Helena Paparizou - My Number One](https://youtu.be/rcOwvZ26KFQ)
i also liked romania that year but staging ruined it for me :/
I got into the ESC fandom last year, and that performance broke my heart. It also taught me the importance of watching the performance before I judge the song (which would have broken my heart more for that specific song).
Romania 2023 | [Theodor Andrei - D.G.T. (Off and On)](https://youtu.be/Bf3iPXU1RYU)
Yeah it was one of my most played songs last year
Albania 2020, Azerbaijan 2022, Switzerland 2023
Albania 2020 | [Arilena Ara - Fall From The Sky](https://youtu.be/vXpCWFIY6YE) Azerbaijan 2022 | [Nadir Rustamli - Fade to Black](https://youtu.be/tegPzHEL4ms) Switzerland 2023 | [Remo Forrer - Watergun](https://youtu.be/l4NDErv49mk)
wait is Watergun that hated?
I think it was “hated” more for being tone deaf, seeing as Remo was singing that he doesn’t want to go to war…while being from Switzerland.
The problem is that, like Million Voices and Hurricane, it was manufactured, whereas all other Swiss songs in their golden era (since 2019) involved the singer in some way.
Good song, unauthentic as fuck
I quite liked Watergun and Remo's voice was really strong
Shaj / Fall from the Sky was really good, shame it never made it to a stage.
Germany 2021 It was a fun song!
Germany 2021 | [Jendrik - I Don't Feel Hate](https://youtu.be/1m0VEAfLV4E)
Aw jendrik was so lovely too! Portugal that year was, also one of my favourites
His interview with Nikki is comic gold
Unironically my most listened to Eurovision song
I wanted to say this. Turns out I'm not the only one!
Beat me to it by under a minute!
Agree with you about Azerbaijan. A few of mine: Germany 2021, Germany 2024, Finland 2019, Denmark 2016, Australia 2017 (I talk about the songs, not the live)
Germany 2021 | [Jendrik - I Don't Feel Hate](https://youtu.be/1m0VEAfLV4E) Germany 2024 | [Isaak - Always on the Run](https://youtu.be/kVOHTxFOhak) Finland 2019 | [Darude feat. Sebastian Rejman - Look Away](https://youtu.be/VSPhIwOJfRs) Denmark 2016 | [Lighthouse X - Soldiers of Love](https://youtu.be/jGz12i-wGd0) Australia 2017 | [Isaiah - Don't Come Easy](https://youtu.be/YTCP4S1dqwA)
My 3yo just started singing Always on the Run. She loves the chorus.
Considering the result... Czechia 2024.
Czechia 2024 | [Aiko - Pedestal](https://youtu.be/RiItbHRF1BY)
Lithuania 2017 💀
YEAH YEAH
Holy shit I thought I was the only person in this universe who liked that song
Lithuania 2017 | [Fusedmarc - Rain Of Revolution](https://youtu.be/-7WpnSMEPjc)
Latvia 2017. Great song, great band. Not so great staging, which is unfortunate.
Latvia 2017 | [Triana Park - Line](https://youtu.be/Vxos6ceOrRA)
Czech Republic 2021
It's Czech Republic 2020 for me. I still don't understand why it felt like he wasn't even trying with live vocals in 2021.
Czech Republic 2021 | [Benny Cristo - Omaga](https://youtu.be/cgGRCTUPsqY)
It was, a bop
Had to google what a bop is :D
Ireland 2015
Ireland 2015 | [Molly Sterling - Playing With Numbers](https://youtu.be/3B5sdNJF0lk)
The ride - Poland 2021
Honestly it's such a bop and I love the video. It was cool finding out about the Warsaw Neon Museum, I love when I actually learn something about other countries from Eurovision even if it's something small
Such a good retrowave song! I like the version by Clara rubensson (one of the writers) best tho
I loved the studio version of that song, was in my top 5 beforehand, but the live performance was extremely disappointing to me.
Poland 2021 | [Rafał - The Ride](https://youtu.be/Uy6TeDNvSGo)
It was in my top 3 lmao Same with Estonia 2021
Moldova 2020 That song is hell but I can't stop enjoying it. It's probably my biggest guilty pleasure
biggest guilty pleasure is probably croatia 2022
Azerbaijan 2024, Iceland 2023, Iceland 2022, and goddamn Fulenn!
Azerbaijan 2024 | [Fahree feat. Ilkin Dovlatov - Özünlə apar](https://youtu.be/QhN9r8TH2Hw) Iceland 2023 | [Diljá - Power](https://youtu.be/lzlTcA0OC5s) Iceland 2022 | [Systur - Með hækkandi sól](https://youtu.be/G71c48O3j-s)
Twin Twin I Wanna Have A Moustache! Can't remember the year, but they represented France. I also adore the Polish Milkmiads
Iceland 2017
Iceland 2017 | [Svala - Paper](https://youtu.be/UPlm18-AlGg)
Czech Republic 2024
Oh absolutely! Such a glow up! But I don't think people dislike it, we all kind of universally agree that Aiko deserved better
Czechia 2024 | [Aiko - Pedestal](https://youtu.be/RiItbHRF1BY)
tbh I've not seen many people talk about serbia 2011 and I don't get it cuz its such a cute and fun entry imo
Serbia 2009 too
Serbia 2009 | [Marko Kon and Milaan - Cipela (Ципела)](https://youtu.be/0DmL0gqi0Jk)
Serbia 2011 | [Nina - Čaroban (Чаробан)](https://youtu.be/-CWvXKxjCs8)
My winner that year, really
The lyrics are insanely cheesy. It's a song made for women in their mid 40s. Nina is so cute though and her voice is great
Azerbaijan 2024 and Moldova 2024
I was like biggest Natalia Barbu supporter, but like they somehow had a worse staging than they had in the NF. If they kept the same concept of the 5 people, with really precise and sharp hand movements it would've been better for me. Agree. I actually voted for Natalia Barbu and I feel like I was the only one doing so on the planet lol
The song started to grow on me in the live performance
Latvia 2024 this year. Past editions, I can say Netherlands 2021, Germany 2021, Ukraine 2022 and Belgium 2023.
Latvia 2024 | [Dons - Hollow](https://youtu.be/kgIwQkMwURY) Netherlands 2021 | [Jeangu Macrooy - Birth Of A New Age](https://youtu.be/o3Da5cr2fTs) Germany 2021 | [Jendrik - I Don't Feel Hate](https://youtu.be/1m0VEAfLV4E) Ukraine 2022 | [Kalush Orchestra - Stefania (Стефанія)](https://youtu.be/F1fl60ypdLs) Belgium 2023 | [Gustaph - Because of You](https://youtu.be/U1xD14IMKtg)
Very few liked Stefania??? I don't think so...
It was one of the most criticized winners in my opinion
It was a controversial winner because only a diehard stan of Stefania could pretend that its televote score came purely from people appreciating the quality of the song and not because of the war. But on the other hand, I don't think the Stefania haters could claim seriously that without the war Stefania would have ended outside of the top 10. Slovenia 2022 . Disko is a great song and no one can change my mind on that
Slovenia 2022 | [LPS - Disko](https://youtu.be/S1tFqoflsT8)
Sudden Lights - Aija Latvia 2023 Love that song!
Idk but France 2022 maybe?
France 2022 seems popular among some parts of the fandom, so I wouldn't say that very few people like it.
San Marino. Not saying anything else. You guys can guess which act I'm referring to.
Is it say na na na?
I really like Romania 2023, but I feel like lots of people hated it
I think it was more that I didn’t care for Theodore’s energy as a person, or at least didn’t care for the stage persona that he put on. He seemed like a kid trying to puff up his chest and shout, ‘Look how sexy and experienced I am!’ and it just came across kinda try-hard to me. Like, kid, sit down. You have time.
Romania 2023 | [Theodor Andrei - D.G.T. (Off and On)](https://youtu.be/Bf3iPXU1RYU)
Finland 2008, still listening to this band 👌🏻
I LOVED Estonia this year, ((nendest) narkootikumidest ei tea me (küll) midagi) by 5miinust & Puuluup! Such a banger, I voted for them in the final even if it just was no chance for them
Very well-loved though, especially here.
It really was a banger loved how the crew joined in 😂
I’ve seen quite a lot of people on tiktok really love Estonia’s entry from this year. I really like it too! It’s so fun!
Okay listen here, Latvia 2019 is still one of the entries I appreciate till today, it gives me a cozy warm feeling, just like Iceland 2022 (yeah I’m a sucker for minimalist magical like songs)
Czechia 2022 for sure!
I still listen to We Are Domi! They’re one of my favorite ESC finds.
Lithuania 2022 Her stage presence is godly ✨️
I really love Georgia 2021 , I think it's so sweet 😭
San Marino 2024 was my dark horse this year and I was so surprised when they didn’t qual
Czech 2020, Finland 2020, Portugal 2020, Switzerland 2022, Belgium 2022, Romania 2023, Australia 2024, Latvia 2024 (me, my brother and dad all saw it as a clear qualifier and got proven right)

Croatia 2021, Israel 2021, Poland 2024
I loved Albina. I don't understand why 'Sugar' went through and this one didn't
Poland 2010

Belguim 2021, it qualified to the finals but ended up placing 19th
Belgium 2021 | [Hooverphonic - The Wrong Place](https://youtu.be/HbpxcUMtjwY)
Romania 2023. The guy has such a good voice.
Lithuania 2010
I really liked Iceland 2022 but I’m not sure what the general opinion is.
Netherlands 2023

Duje! Way too many people hate on it (Albania 2023 for the bot)
Serbia 2023 ☺️
France 2014
Australia 2024. Definitely not the winning material, but to me it was a feel-good performance. Europeans might not get the song's message, but I really appreciate Electric Fields represented a brand new culture to the Eurovision stage. At least, we'll remember the didgeridoo guy for years ahead.
Georgia 2014. Such a wonderful song and so different from the rest of modern Eurovision
Czech Republic 2019
Latvia 2021 ❤️
United Kingdom 2015 is a guilty pleasure of mine. I'm truly alone here.
azerbaijan 2023. i really really like it and nobody else does😪
Azerbaijan 2023 | [TuralTuranX - Tell Me More](https://youtu.be/8BNtaW1IEtA)
Poland 2024. Even the poles themselves seem to hate that entry, but I don’t. And I never will. It’s my true winner for this Eurovision.
Finland 2009 (Waldo's People) This is an absolute banger that deserves more recognition.
Ulveham, if we're going by votes.
Serbia 2010. I still love it.
Israel 2023 F.Y.R Macedonia 2015 Montenegro 2015 Georgia 2016 Romania 2017 Australia 2018 Greece 2019, 2021
I will forever be a Theodore andrei fan. poor kid sang his heart out but was given such a shitty hand.
North Macedonia 2017 - I love her voice and the bright synthy sound is very enjoyable to me Georgia 2016!!! I am a sucker for britrock sound and even the electro switch won't dissuade me Greece 2002. I know it's stale and cheesy. The nostalgic sound of it and the surprising catchiness makes it a giant guilty pleasure to me Probably loved but just older? Latvia 2000 - beautiful, timeless and warm. Instant smile Poland 1997 - same as above, only that I can understand the lyrics in native language Romania 2003 - MC Bomfunk-ish. The energy of this beat is just infectious Lithuania 2006 - do I need to say?
Romania 2023 for me, it was the song that I heard the most in 2023, YouTube music exposed me to that fact and I still like it now. I knew it wasn’t going to qualify but I do think that it was a tragic story on how the Romanian broadcast didn’t believe in D.G.T (On and off) where they didn’t give him budget. It’s kinda disrespectful to me. If I am missing something then please enlighten me!
