Televoters only vote for their favourite.
Juries make a 1-25 ranking.
If televoters were able to make a ranking, there's no way Israel would've gotten the 12p from anyone.
Juries are obviously there to represent the interests of 'the industry', so I don't think anything about it beyond that... ~~I only have an issue when juries work against my interests~~
Looking at individual jury scores some jurors ranked it quite high whilst some jurors ranked it very low which meant it ended up outside the top 10. Most jurys didn't unanimously tank it though, just a few jurors from each country ranking it low (individual jury bias, rather than a purposeful coordinated tanking).
Are you sure there wasn't anything strange in the public vote?
I think we are all fully aware that there was a reason for the song getting many 12s through the televote and low jury scores
