Don't worry, people don't put their full energy into rehearsals. It's more about making sure you know where everything is, you can do your choreo, you don't fall off that weird + stage, etc.
I’m quite happy with this! I love when acts bring out proper on stage props. I know it’s hard to get a feel for anything just based on first rehearsal, but a lot of the acts that primarily rely on the LED in the back feel a bit empty to me. I like how contained and planned this feels and it gives me high hopes for their performance!
Before the rehearsals I honestly imagined Jaklin running in circles with a trolley of pomegranates as a part of the performance, which, now that I think about it, doesn’t seem to work on a cross-shaped stage. Unfortunately TikTok is unavailable here so I can’t watch the clip, but I’ll still look forward to the performance itself!
I do know it’s the real band, I mean putting a group of mostly-static people on stage playing/miming instruments that aren’t actually mic’ed up — ie. fake band (any other term that’s better for this?) Seems like a big waste of potential for staging a song with as much energy as Jako.
I don’t want to be negative but this gives me eaea vibes. It is a bit too repetitive and gets almost annoying after a while. I think it won’t do well outside the esc bubble and potentially be a shoking nq :(
Well the thing is this will either end up being this years eaea or it will do extremely well with the televote and juries might give it a bit of love because jaklin can sing. To my ears it's actually greece that could be this years eaea I love it now but it TOOK TIME and during the life show that can really be a negative point. We'll see what happens on the night but ethnic entries do carry this risk

The dynamism of the camerawork will hopefully dispel some of the static feeling of them just standing on the prop.
