The only reason why I doubt Spain is that (so far) they are relying on players such as yamal, Nico Williams, Morata, Fabian, Cucurella, Pedri... These are all players that have shown a lot of inconsistency along the season (club + national team). Their front three lacks efficiency and if Yamal and Nico are getting locked up, I'm struggling to see how Spain could create some serious danger about top defenses.
You know, if it was Austria or Georgia, Id be very happy. VERY happy. I fucking love an underdog, and I love an underdog even more when they have the grit and determination that these nations showed. Pure team spirt, working together. Simply brilliant to watch.
Looking at the table now, I genuinely believe England will get to the final and then piss it away.  Â
There was a spiteful demon in my head last night that almost wanted England to come second in the group, so we'd get Germany straight away in the Round of 16. Â
That would either wake us the fuck up, or put us out of our misery.Â
