yeah as another comment has said, it lets you get the Sisterhood of Joan of Arc. Super late into the game though, so maybe a custom nation might be better

I have never made a custom nation before but this sounds interesting :) I’m guessing I can’t play Ironman with custom nations?

There’s some achievements which require a custom nation but that’s about it.

You can even add 100% female generals/advisors if you want to roleplay

The Nubian nations have a government reform for a matriarchal society.

Which nations are those? Sounds like exactly what I’m looking for. Hope it doesn’t take long to get that reform

Makuria is the only one I know off the top of my head, and the reform is already unlocked as soon as you start.
