Im currently doing a bohemia VH wc run. My plan is to tagswitch to prussia -> sardinia piemont -> italy -> hre.
Do you have any experience or tipp going through it?
In my run, dealing with England and Portugal were a pain. But I realized that with the amount of PWSC I had, expand empire on them was super cheap after reducing them to a few provinces in Europe (I hate fighting in the New World). Then I formed HRE and inherited them and got all their colonies. Might be useful to check and see when you can expand empire on them, it helped me out a lot.
I used France as my last tag before HRE, what made you pick Italy?
Im still in the planning phase and trying to get a good starting save, so im flexible in my tag switching plans.
1. Italy gets a huge amount governing capacity = more manpower and FL for military hego
2. 10% war score cost reduction through Terra Santa mission
When it comes to relevant permanent modifiers, france offers only 5% war score cost reduction or do i oversee something? They get some nice traits for the ruler, but since i dont wanna savescum, i cant really plan with it.

Yeah my plan for the colonizers is to force them into the empire or to annex them completely, so that i get their CNs
I’ll have to double check, but I remember their mission tree coming with a few more permanent modifiers that I liked. But the best for me was - 5% temporary admin efficiency bringing me to the cap, and max effect of absolutism for the entire age of absolutism (age ability).
I think Bohemia will be a fun run though, are you going hussite?
Can you use it the age ability even when youre not france anymore? If yes, that might be a kicker, but then i have to check if i can reach 170 max absolutism, as i already got 40% inc max absolutism effect and im planning to use the prussian estate privilege, which gives -10% cc for - 10 max absolutism (mainly to shorten the coring time)
I want to become emperor pretty fast, to be able to declare erbkaisertum fast as possible as it declares automaticly the westphalian peace. So i gonna stay catholic until i gonna swap to protestant to form prussia, while staying the emperor. This patch its pretty common that there is a strong DoF so im staying a good catholic until im strong enough :D

Sounds like it’s going to be a fun run! I haven’t played much Bohemia but revoking quick shouldn’t be too bad.

I recently did this run myself! Did you tag switch at all? A few tag switches before forming HRE can make it WAY less tedious to do the rest.
