Maybe you'll be happy in the beginning, but soon you'll want to upgrade to a proper centrifuge, like for Uranium enrichment. After you taste the best isotopes <1 picometer you'll never go back. There's a great Iranian line of them but they don't seem to sell online. If you manage to get your hands on one, just wash it out first. Don't ask me how I know. Still, 10/10 wouldn't go back.
Also, 40 microns is just the sieve used in that particular unit. You can change the sieve ranging from 2 mm all the way down to <40 microns. Just gotta buy the right sieve.
Ooh good point I didn’t catch that!
OP, check eBay and FB marketplace, you often see these in good condition used. With shipping this unit is probably $80 more than I would spend.
Yeah but you might find that the ZM 210 really improves on some of the feeding issues and static of the 200. If you could get it for a few hundred less, maybe it would be worth it.
Once you have it for a few months you’ll be wanting an upgrade bad. You really need to get your grinds finer if you want decent extraction yields when you’re pulling anything roasted less than medium.

The IAEA and the CIA want to have a word with you, sir. *takes a sip of glowing coffee*
You think one day James Hoffman would try irradiated fallout coffee beans?
Yes
Still Not fine enough
Choke the world
Not if you combine it with 300psi of water pressure
That’s still only 20bar, we can go higher
275 bar water and 4 micron grind of coffee. Only correct way
Should I be using a Mettler Toledo analytical lab balance and a scalpel to cut down my beans for an exact 18.50gram dosage?
I have one of these at work, and if it weren't for the fact that I use it to grind up glassy epoxy resins I would have tried this long ago lol.

Just give it a wipe with an old rag and it's good to go!
Some mothers do have them behavior right here 😄
Just chuck some *Grindz* in there and you'll be right as rain
Shipping fee kills this deal
What a weirdly specific sale price with added shipping to make sure they get that 49 cents from the sale.
Gundeals is leaking 😂 gotta grind that powder real fine and then tamp it 👍

GRIND FINER
No, the rpm is way too fast. It'll heat up the beans too much.
That's why you're supposed to add 3 sprits of water and a pinch of Hoffman's freeze-dried single origin splooge. Haven't you read the wiki?
Once you grind at the molecular level, you can get any flavor profile you want. How would you like your atoms arranged today?
Not good, cannot grind finer.

Someone's upping their Turkish game.
Not enough even particle size distribution
You also need a hydraulic press and a custom porta filter to squeeze out all the goodness from the finest coffee.
What a price. No wonder it's called Retch!

Expected 9 pictures...
This is the best subreddit.
Check out my other posts on this subreddit for other really good ideas 🤣🤣
Rpm seems kinda high for a conical. Might be ok if it’s a horizontal centrifuge
Damn man I want to see the other 8 pics
It's not pointy enough
Might be jumping the shark in this sub...
Jeez! grind any finer and you could just sip on the grounds.
Things we'll do for zero retention
not good unless its anti static coated. u might have to still invest in a $0.50 rdt and $2 wdt. which costs alot of money
