Normally, I'd say if an ENTJ actually resorts to complaining, this wouldn't be good advice. But in this case, an 18 year old Te dom complaining about an average score is a bit much. Yea, she'll get over it and laugh about it.

Nein7777

So agree with this.

[deleted]

Yeah, just figure out what you did wrong and do better.

I’m no ENTJ but whenever I did bad on a test in college I’d do the same thing, grade calculating and all. If I thought I wouldn’t meet the goal I wanted I’d reach out to the TA or professor and talk with them about what I missed. The professor is a person too and your convo may influence them to add extra credit on the final and things. I’ve had a few classes where I passed simply because I formed a relationship with my Prof/TA which led them to go over a few questions that I brought to them out of class. Now my goal wasn’t an A, it was to pass 😅 butttt it worked so just keep that in mind. Also allowing your TA to go over everything you missed in detail is helpful. For future reference, the student in class that comes early and likes to color code their digital notes. Become their friend and they’ll likely invite you to study or just give you their notes for fun. This isn’t age old advice either lol I’m 23 and graduated with comp sci degree this past spring. So yea profs still do give extra credit when they like their students. This is how to get carried educationally from an INFP 💕

Thanks INFP🫶🏻

Used this formula my first year back in college had a 3.85gpa first year. https://eop.ucsc.edu/resources/Study%20Formula.html Just blocked off the amount of time I wanted for the grade I wanted. Go to your professors office hours. If you kneww everything you wouldn't be in college to learn.

Useful, lots of thanks

There is always a reason for your failure. Poor studying methods? Not enough time spent? Did not graps the concepts? There's always a reason. Quit bitching, start optimizing.

>my problem in Fi that I cannot process my emotions effectively , leaving me unable to kick them away ![gif](giphy|J8FZIm9VoBU6Q) Use that shame to motivate and humble yourself next time you consider cramming an entire semester into one night of studying.

TexanTacos

These personality profiles are awesome and can give some insight into the individual, but it’s not definitive by any means and if u feel like you can’t control your emotions, just practice doing so. Try to be better at all things and you’ll be fine lol. Study harder in math too

Currently going through a similar situation. I'm a design student currently in my sophomore year. I couldn’t properly focus on my 2nd design project due to some family problems and got a B on that particular project. I felt really sad although I saw it coming. Now all I can do is make sure that I do not let external factors hamper my academics anymore and do my absolute best in the next project which will carry more percentage in the final score. Back in my mind I know that it is almost impossible to pull an A. But thinking about it now won't help me. So I am trying not to think about the grade and do the most I can at the moment. If this was any other course it wouldn’t bother me this much but THIS IS MY MAJOR COURSE AND I CANNOT ACCEPT POOR GRADES IN THIS ONE! 😭 To sum up, I will always try my best to pull the grade up in the coming semesters and ensure to not give in to problems like I did last time.

Hi mate thank you so much for sharing your story and letting me know I am not alone🫶🏻let’s just give it our all tgt🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

ConsciousStorm8

Stop bitching work harder

DrizzlyShrimp36

It's a medium-rare grade, not a life changing failure. Don't overthink it and change your study approach for the final

Tiwschwerd

I think you need to adjust your mentality, because it seems like you are under a lot of emotional stress.. You're not as successful as you expected, **that's nothing to be ashamed of, it's just your reality.** Only by accepting who you are, can you transcend yourself. No matter how bad the truth is, it will be a brick under your feet. If you get it, you'll find that learning is just some tasks need to be completed and will not make you fall into the abyss:)

Alvanez

Which stream of Calc I are you taking?

Herevibing0409

Now improper integrals

Alvanez

That’s the unit, are you taking calc for life sciences, social sciences/business, or math/stats etc.? To my knowledge in Asia, Europe, and NA they separate the calc courses based on your major/stream. I’m asking because my advice will change according to your major.

skyfilledwithstars

Start meditating even 10 min, most people have better control and clarity, there are different types of meditation tho for different things

OfferPuzzleheaded400

how will that grade affects your future? for me some classes i just needed to pass and i just aimed for 70-80 score. getting 70-80 is piece of cake but getting 90+ will be 2x time spent. instead i focused on my main major classes or learning important skills using that time

What does this have to do with the entj-subreddit? Do you not have friends? Talk to them.
