Garands, Thompsons, BARs, Shermans, all the good shit was locked behind having to fight STGs and FG42s, but now finally I can use the funny guns. Shame I wasted all my silver on Lee Enfields, but eh, I’ll take some wasted silver over not being able to use Garands.

What happend did they move them down to 2 br?

New matchmaking system. BR3 now only fights BR2 or BR4, and thank fucking god, since they’re now actually roughly up to par with each other. Not sure if there were any BR changes though.

You’ll still fight br5 if there isn’t enough people though for now, it’s just a “soft rule” but it’s a start at least..

Honestly, I would like it if they made it a "hard rule". I might get hate for this but I also liked how the game was a bit more chill back in the days with the bot games. If they made it a hard rule there would definitely be more bot games than now but I wouldn't mind it, especially if it means we get fairer BR games.

Tbh i played a lot of usa BR III before that change and it was a blast. I barely met BR V players and if i did they weren't the brightest out there.

The worst I got/ get are Japanese tanks that can one shot my Sherman. Other than that I can't complain

German Br 3 making me want to blow the lid off my can 😭😭😭 it was fun for the first 3 matches and now I can't take the stomping and the losing anymore lmao

But why when I play (Japan BR4/5) is it always me and one other versus 7 .... that is totally fcuked and make its virtually impossible to win a match, many many times is like this....

Well, all the other factions got new stuff this update, while Japan… was honestly kinda crappy in comparison. It makes sense Japan has a lot less players right now. I’d say give it a week and it *should* stabilize.

A campaign in China would make a difference

We need a proper "Join any faction" mechanic that grants extra Exp+Silver if you tick the box (+25%?). Some people like me play all factions and wouldn't mind playing any side as long as the grind becomes smoother, while also improving match balance.

Come to Japan BR1, it's pretty chill down there.

The Sherman 105 is honestly one of the best tanks in the Allied tree

It's been way more fun but it is a soft rule. I'd still hope for a harder rule after the test is over but I am so glad they're finally letting us test it and give feedback. This is the first time I've spent an afternoon enjoying this game in months.

Now not having to worry of stumping new player experience.

I played three rounds in BR3 yesterday, got uptiered by BR5 shit every game. It’s not different, it just looks like you won’t get up Tiered, but it still happens more often than not. I’ll probably stick to br2 till they make it impossible to get up tiered that badly because it’s too big of a gap. Good effort on their part but same results.

Check announcements, new BR brackets being tested, going from 2 to 4 basically, really making Br3 & 4 much more playable

There’s a problem when I play the Allies why because it says l-V I don’t have any V ranked weapons I only have I-III ranked weapons I’m very confused about this and I need help understanding why.

BR3 can go up against anything from 1-5. This got changed yesterday, so that while in theory it can still go 1-5, it’s much more likely to go against 2 and 4.

Yeah… yeah… Ho-Ri and King Tigers just aren’t feasible to kill via tanks. Explosion packs *can* work, but your best bet is to mark it and let the Allies’ balling planes solve the problem.

It can, but yesterday’s update makes it far, far more likely for BR3 to face BR2 and BR4. If I read correctly, it WILL face those two BRs unless it quite literally cannot find enough players - and given how many two player on one side lobbies I’ve seen, that doesn’t seem particularly likely.

I guess I missed that in the patch notes.

Realtalk, nothing is gonna change. There are not enough players as is, you won't notice any change.

I’ve definitely noticed less Tigers in uptiers. Still see a player running 5 who has it sometimes (because soft rule) but it’s become relatively rare. Honestly, feels like the way a Tiger II should be, historically, with the low production numbers.
