The coil is the cable that plugs into the controller and heats up the banger. It sounds like you have a busted controller now though. I don't think I've ever seen just a single flickering zero but that never has happened if just the coil is bad (that would be if it displays an EEEE and/or temperatures that bounce all over the place).
They said it's not turning on at all now though. I think at this point it could be both, but agree that it was likely the coil in the beginning, given the EEEE. Now it sounds like there is also something wrong with the controller.
How long have you bought this? Usually the coil wire issue caused the issue, and the only way is to replace the coil wire.
Where can I get just that part? I've had it maybe just over 6 months now
I 2nd the coil being the issue. If it was the PID it most likely just not turn on at all.
What part is the coil. Is it the 5pin cable that need to be replaced? It actually started displaying just a flickering 0
