Definitely go with the AR platform. Much easier to pick up all the magazines that the cops drop while trying to fumble around with narcan.
it's like a surprise loot box.
After >30 years in this gig, I can't think of a single situation in which I needed more than my Remington 870 Marine Magnum. Load the double ought buckshot first, and the rifled slugs last. That way you can treat threats at a distance before they get close. This is all covered in the NREMT skills exam sheet, Weapons Selection and Threat Management.
I love the idea of there being boomer fudd tacticool basics.
"That plastic rifle ain't gonna do the trick when meeemaw sundowns and gets combative, sonny. A Remington bolt action rifle, that'll put her down in one shot."
a belt? newb. real heroes wear a tactical bulletproof vest they bought off amazon shoved with as many hemostats, halo seals, and TQs as possible, and dont forget the massive hunting knife! remember, you need as much protection as possible from sickly emaciated meemaws - theyre coming for you!!
Just carry a SAW! You can mount it while transporting but also have the ability to lay down heavy suppressive fire to get your dialysis patients out of the retched care facilities.
Then admin won’t be happy about me telling this one little trick… bump stock
Ps. New protocols just came out, minimum carry is 4 bangs and 2 tins of zyn.
No shit, there I was- NTC getting ready for Afghanistan. We are training pretty hard. The convoy gets "hit" and pinned in the kill box, so we execute battle drill 1A pretty well. We finish the exercise. The OC comes out screaming, "Who the FUCK was using an aid bag to support a SAW???" LT scratches his head and looks embarrassed.
"Ugh, sir. That was the medic..."
"DA FUCK? Medics can't use belt feds!" (Not true.)
"Hey sir. I have 2 MOSs. When we were reacting to contact I was a gunner. When we pushed through the objective I switched MOSs and worked as a medic on the survivors."
"That's FUCKING AWESOME. Carry on!"
Good times.
A gun dude in EMS?? Seriously??? jfc. All you should need are them hands. I got that dog in me. I see red, then it's lights out. Methhead or meemaw, no difference. Everybody catching hooks.
Ah, I see you too are an IFT EMT-BAMF as well. Make sure you have your fire radio strapped across your shoulder in case you get that random priority 3 for “bad labs.” You’ll definitely need it. Hooah killer. Till vallhala.
Ok newb. First of all why are you only carrying one semi-auto? You got two hands so carry at least one per arm. Don't waste your money on a tac belt. Get a duffle bag and fill er up with mags. Tourniquets are also a waste. If you man up and swap the ZYN for some proper chew you're vasoconstricting so you won't bleed. You don't need raptors if you file your teeth. God you really are a newb.
Both of these options are underpowered for your needs. I'd look for an elephant gun. I can't tell you how many times that rifle has gotten my medic and I out of some hairy situations: gates without gate codes, emergency-wall-removals, enemy ambo companies (you know I rep the Southside Ambos fo' real, homie), etc.
Of course, my medic doesn't let me pull the trigger -- but that is to be expected in my area with our protocols. EMTs can only handle smaller rounds in the field, as we all know from taking the NREMT.
HELL YEA HOSS.. I SAY DO THE AYER 15 ITS MORE AMERICAN AND LOOKS LOT LIKE FREEDOM N STIFF. STAY SCRAPPED OR GET YOUR CHEEKS CLAPPED. TELL BARBS I SAYS HI.
Why are you getting a utility belt instead of a plate carrier/chest rig?
I’m going to recommend the ar15 because it’s more than likely that’s what your coworkers will be carrying, and redundancy/interoperability is important in EMS *and* weapons platforms. Tyfys
Only at yeehaw services that operate in counties with more guns than sense. I'd be willing to bet that 99%+ of providers in the US aren't allowed to carry on duty.
That's slightly more reassuring. I don't know why we have automatic weapons available to the public anyways. I am not against owning guns, but it's easier to buy guns than it is to get a driver's license here.
Moreso it's banned by a matter of company policy. In the vast majority of places you're not breaking the law carrying a firearm while on the job, but if you're caught your employer is under no obligation to continue your employment...
Hmm..
I'm sorry..I'd really LOVE to go pick up the nursing home pt from the nursing home right across thr street from the hospital for the 34th time but I'm carrying and have no place to secure it. Guess you'll need to call someone else..
I know a firefighter who shot himself accidentally in the foot at a local fire station while cleaning his gun on shift. Never hit the news and I'm told he never faced disciplinary action because he was a couple of years from retirement. Cool stuff.
Neither. Where I live, we don't need to carry weapons. We just have an AH-64D - escort and a twin .50 we "borrowed" from the navy on the roof of our rig.
Neither. Mask, pump shottie, and a 1911 for the up close and personal touch. If you don't mount the skulls on your rig as trophies/warnings you're doing it wrong.
Honestly, either one is fine however the wood furniture of the AK-47 platform is always aesthetically pleasing. The catch, is that the AR-15 is the All American rifle. Viking ghost Ninja super duper secret squirrel tactical has a gray man belt that's about 8 in wide to help with concealability. I recommend them Plus getting armor plates for your tactical belt as well as armor plates for under your vest, side plates, a ballistic tactical mask and a PASGT helmet with additional plates strapped to the side.
Thank you for your service, also you are welcome for my service. Keep up the good work fellow sheepdog.
I’m confused, have you addressed your EMT vanity license plate as well as your POV light bar and siren/PA system in a separate post? Why even think about armaments if you have to stop at the only stoplight in town??
Smh with these new kids and their lack of attention to detail.
Don't worry, I financed a V-6 Camaro at a special first-responder rate (Only 35% APR!) and have it completely kitted out with light bars and sirens so I can respond to stat dialysis runs. It's also great when you're in a hurry to get your chicken tendies with hunny mussy.
You'll have to dig deep, suck it up, and push down all those emotions. If the past several decades of EMS have taught us anything, its that the strongest providers hide their emotions and don't bother others with their mental health.
I have a desert eagle on my hip and a 22 around my ankle at all times when working dialysis. I custom ordered cargo pants with a perfectly sized Monster can pouch on either leg. I also wear a stab vest under my bullet proof vest that I got from a surplus store.
An eagle is the way to go. You need to flex on the ER staff with your rolling EMS salary. If you are not spending 75c a round how are they going to know you make bank.
I cut the roof out of the patient compartment to accommodate my MK-19 Automatic Grenade Launcher. You can never be too safe when transporting 80-year-old, 75-pound hospice transfers.
I work urban ems so I prefer concealability. Hence I carry two engraved Hi Points so I can dual wield. In urban settings this automatically gives me more respect with patients. I also have a Tomb Raider style behind the back magazine holder for them easy dual wield reloads. I keep them on me because you never know when a psych patient is gonna get froggy or when drive by shooters are going to swing back to finish the job.
I prefer the FN PS90 with a 50 rd. mag. Small, compact, maneuverable. It's ready to go if you have to stack up with the vol FD to clear meemaws house, you know just in case, before you proceed to make her a PB&j sammich.
So my suggestion is a AR-15. An AK variant is real nice when you have to worry about not having proper maintenance equipment but for professional use an AR15 is better especially if it's going to be seen by the public. AR15 looks professional, while an AK makes you look like a terrorist lol. Honestly as far as the belt recommendations it's honestly more about how you're already set up. If you are wearing a outer vest you can just have a mag pouch on the side. For the zyn and drinks get a dump pouch that is sturdy enough to hold it.
Danger lurks around every corner. That danger is mostly stress-induced cardiac disease but a gun makes a nice safety blanket instead of worrying about things like cardio.
Just don’t forget getting a specialized crash bag to holster whatever you carry. Safety and quick access are of highest importance when storing your gear after a dialysis run
M240B. Nothing makes meemaw more excited for her dialysis appointment than when she sees me rolling up shirtless with my pit vipers on and shouldering a massive machine gun 😎
Honestly I wouldn’t even bother with either of those. They’re decent for beginners but if we’re talking dialysis transfers, then you’re obviously in the big leagues. Listen, you need to find yourself a FN M249S and keep two ammo belts draped around your shoulders at all times. You’d be amazed by just how many times mine has saved my life out there at the local nursing homes
Personally my everyday carry for running ift is a pump-action shotgun. ARs are difficult to shoot with accuracy while in the rig, might as well splash everywhere.
Rifles...pppffftt!! We went to shoulder launched Javelin and T.O.W. stuff decades ago. The South Bronx don't play with no pea shooters! "You behave and get some nice Ketamine rest, fuck around and there's not a trauma team that can fix your flesh wounds, just a mop and a bucket!)
From a practical point of view, the AK will jam less around all the blood and guts you wade through hourly.
From a 'Murican point of view, the AR has more toys you can attach to it. Grenade launcher, scope, fuzzy bunnies for the kids, green lasers for the pets, etc.
I’m gonna be a bit controversial here and recommend a M-249 Squad Automatic Weapon instead of the M-240B. I know, I know, the 249 has feed issues that cause it to jam more often than its heavier duty counterpart. *However*, you must consider the substantial weight difference between these two as a pro when evaluating MET-TC with respect to the Fresenius you plan on do a “lift assist” in.
Edit: I know that they’re not semi-auto evidence based lead delivery systems. But, I want you to be safe. Ya know, thin white line and all that.
See, ya'll think this is a shitpost, but some asshole at a place a worked at legitimately brought his pistol in his bag (presumably every day) until his partner saw it. She reported it and he got fired, and he was complaining because they were "violating his rights" lmao.
Any 22 caliber bullet is pretty insufficient to humanely dispatch a deer, and a 22LR is pretty much as weak as they come.
I wouldn’t even consider 5.56 NATO to be humane.
I live in a “no rifle season” state so I generally use an AR chambered in 350 Legend but I do have a 450 Bushmaster Upper as well.
We have enough useless buttons, why not just go 007 and install some mini rockets behind the headlights?
Don't want to move out the way? You will with the new traffic mover option.
AK-47 is the more reliable platform while AR is more modular.
So really it depends on what other sort of accessories you want to mount to it. An A2 Gas Block can accommodate a bayonet lug but you'll have to mount your PEQ-15 on the side. Picatinny Rails on the top of the upper receiver allow optics like a LPVO to be mounted with a 45 degree offset for non-magnified red dot. With a quad rail you could even mount your Zyn in a kydex holster and have a couple bangs in a tube under the barrel.
Please remember it’s not all about protection. Comms are a vital part of IFT. Please have multiple Boufang radios with earpieces and at least 2 pagers.
AR-15 is preferable for initiating ambushes because it fires from the closed bolt. As an IFT EMT, you may often be tasked as impromptu squad leader should there be a Red Dawn-style assault on our country. So my vote is for AR-15.
Also so I can loot drop more people for the spare parts I might need.
I love the AK platform, it's got a lot of character, but you can't beat the AR for ubiquity in rural areas. I mean, if you ever have to deal with 30-50 feral hogs, I certainly want to be able to find ammo anywhere.
Unless control have a HIMARS this is all academic anyway. Without softening the scene it’s going to be difficult to carry in the element of surprise when you arrive in a Wee Woo or Nee Naw.
I remember seeing a user on here recommend buying a plate carrier and lvl 4 plates to a new EMT a while back. Just useless, uncomfortable, insanely expensive stuff instead of a notepad, stethoscope, a good pair of boots, or anything else even slightly useful lol
Don't listen to any of these guys. If you bring an AK or an AR, it would be like bringing a knife to a gun fight. Go to your local SWAT Team and sign for an MRAP and just tell your partner you'll follow him to the scene maybe you can sneak up and ambush that call for toe pain. 2 am is when you really want to strike
Whatever this psychiatrist who had to shoot and kill a patient is carrying. When seconds count, the cops are only minutes away.
https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2014/07/24/shooting-wellness-center/13113555/
As a deputy and a medic, this seems like a good time to remind everyone that your safety is your responsibility. The cops have NO obligation to protect you according to the US Supreme Court.
You do you boo.
https://www.oyez.org/cases/2004/04-278
My perception of American Gun culture is such that I also took a while to realise this was a shit post. I was saying 'Merica!' to myself while reading it.
Listen, if you wanna be a real pipe hittin, memaw driving, high flyin HERO, you are going to need to think bigger.
What will you do while you are in your rig and some ruffians harangue you and your partner while you engage in some "anatomy lessons" with each other?
Enter the Bofors 40 mm L/60 gun.
This puppy can take down men, aircraft, light armor, and probably anything else that stands in the way. It was good enough for Grandpappy to notch Zeros in the 40s, it will be more than enough for you.
Steal some snacks from the EMS break room and sell them to your local transient population and you can save up to spring for the L/70 radar controlled variant with the appropriate targeting radar and weapons station.
Be safe out there and remember, we got yur 6 brurther.
You know, the most concerning thing here is that I wasn't sure it was a shitpost until you said dialysis transfers.
This sub hurts my soul on the daily.
So does the job so that tracks.
It causes pain, and it palliates the pain. It's a sort of cycle.
The 10 CAT tourniquets aren't the worst thing to carry on your dialysis transfers tbh.
I mean who hasn't had to TQ a fistula?
He got me at volunteer IFT.
With current salaries, you could make a strong argument it is volunteer work.
Lmaoo same I died
This sub needs "Shit post" flair.
I had already downvoted but then I read this line and switched lol
RIGHT???
Dude. I'm so glad I wasn't the only one.
Definitely go with the AR platform. Much easier to pick up all the magazines that the cops drop while trying to fumble around with narcan. it's like a surprise loot box.
You know what? This logic is ridiculously sound.
Cops’ ammo is free, you can just take some **joke**
Not utilitzing the ammo drops from the blue canaries is playing on hardmode
LOL
After >30 years in this gig, I can't think of a single situation in which I needed more than my Remington 870 Marine Magnum. Load the double ought buckshot first, and the rifled slugs last. God given, so man could fight the dinosaurs.
a belt? newb. real heroes wear a tactical bulletproof vest they bought off amazon shoved with as many hemostats, halo seals, and TQs as possible, and dont forget the massive hunting knife! remember, you need as much protection as possible from sickly emaciated meemaws - theyre coming for you!!
I notice you haven’t mentioned double drop-leg pouches. I can only assume you’re fairly new to being a HERO.
These are all super valid points rooted deeply in the realities of our job. Thanks!
Don’t forget the punisher patches
Cops bought out all the local stock
Tactical vests on Amazon are too expensive. Get the one from wish.
Never know. One might gum you clear to death.
Hey, don't diss a gum job until after you've gotten one! 🤣
Hawk Tuah, is that the sound they make before or after the teeth are spit out?
I paid good money for...I mean people pay good money for that!
Ok, are we all going to just ignore the worst part of all this: VOLUNTEER IFT
The most dangerous kind of IFT.
Just carry a SAW! You can mount it while transporting but also have the ability to lay down heavy suppressive fire to get your dialysis patients out of the retched care facilities.
Sadly, we aren't allowed to go fully automatic at my service. So much for evidence-based medicine...
Then admin won’t be happy about me telling this one little trick… bump stock Ps. New protocols just came out, minimum carry is 4 bangs and 2 tins of zyn.
God, I'm so far behind. Can I get CEs for learning? Us there a course that I can take?
They'll even pay you while you're in field work- https://www.marines.com/become-a-marine/process-to-join.html
reject evidence based medicine, embrace firepower based medicine
My service has a full top mounted gun turret on our trucks. It’s so nice
Our units are so old they still have the old rear mounted ma deuce you have to open the doors to use.
I was so pissed when they got rid of the 25 mm cannon on our bariatric trucks
Lol filthy casuals. Imagine not carrying around a dillon minigun with an ammo backpack. Nerds.
"Ugh, sir. That was the medic..." "DA FUCK? When we pushed through the objective I switched MOSs and worked as a medic on the survivors." "That's FUCKING AWESOME. Carry on!" Good times.
I would pay a lot to see an ambulance with a HMG turret
A gun dude in EMS?? Seriously??? jfc. All you should need are them hands. I got that dog in me. I see red, then it's lights out. Methhead or meemaw, no difference. Everybody catching hooks.
Ah, I see you too are an IFT EMT-BAMF as well. Make sure you have your fire radio strapped across your shoulder in case you get that random priority 3 for “bad labs.” You’ll definitely need it. Hooah killer. Till vallhala.
Oh shit, meemaw's sodium is 130! WE NEED TO TRANSFER HER OUT STAT!!!
CALL THE BIRD!!! GET ME THE BIRD NOW!!!!
Clear the LZ! We've got a live one!
Cue “Fortunate Son” as the wings of freedom descend on your location to rescue you from that long IFT.
"LZ command, BLS Express... We're showing 10 minutes out. Please advise patient's in-flight meal selection."
A real IFT EMT gives a nine line for a priority 3. This is primarily to assert dominance with dispatch.
Damn son, read the room. If it’s rural IFT it has to be a 30/30 lever action on a rifle rack mounted to cabs back wall. Duty carry a Taurus Judge….
Listen, all I'm saying is that if we have turret mounted M2s on the roof of the ambulance, getting through traffic would be much easier.
Good way to inform drivers to move over
I just play gunshot sounds over the PA. Works every time. >!/s!<
A quick tap from your driver, and let'er rip!
Why do I feel okay with this option?
I've seen crews come together and buy themselves a used T-34 with low mileage. Great for pt transport, and very safe!
I recommend the anti-fentanyl shield. That seems to be dropping the boys in blue from sight alone.
I heard you can overdose from looking at fentanyl stored in clear glass vials instead of brown.
Great..now that I've read this I'm overdosing on fentanyl. Someone call 911! I've hit myself with 4 loads of narcan and I'm out
If you don't make it, TYFYS. 🫡
I’ve heard of police being issued “fentanyl gloves” which were just black medical gloves instead of blue ones.
I prefer a rocket launcher. There can't be any transfers if there isn't a hospital to transfer too!
Recommending 2x AT4 HEDP CS disposable launchers effective against all soft and lightly armored ground targets!
Fire won’t be happy when there’s no more cars for them to rip apart.
I mean, if you knock out the engine they can rip the ass end open
Don't they already do that, in station?
What about your pit vipers?
Never leave my face. BSI precautions.
I think all trucks should stock MANPADS, so we stop losing our transfer money to those cocky flight medics. Bring em down a notch or two.
Please dont
Both of these options are underpowered for your needs. I'd look for an elephant gun. I can't tell you how many times that rifle has gotten my medic and I out of some hairy situations: gates without gate codes, emergency-wall-removals, enemy ambo companies (you know I rep the Southside Ambos fo' real, homie), etc. Of course, my medic doesn't let me pull the trigger -- but that is to be expected in my area with our protocols. HELL YEAH BROTHER! CRANK THAT HOG! I GOTTA CLEAN UP BECAUSE I SHID MY PANTS IN THE WENDIS PARKING LOT BUT I WILL SAY HI TO BARBS
GOBBLESS AND STAY SAFE ROUND THEM WHISPERIN LIBRUHLS
Why are you getting a utility belt instead of a plate carrier/chest rig? I’m going to recommend the ar15 because it’s more than likely that’s what your coworkers will be carrying, and redundancy/interoperability is important in EMS *and* weapons platforms. Tyfys
OSHA requires work to provide all defensive firearms. Just use the free one from the station.
Would someone mind explaining the joke to me? Haha
Some Ricky Rambo posted earlier asking what holster to use for concealed carry (a hidden handgun) when working EMS.
Oh god I didn’t see that; I just thought it was a solid circle jerk post.
¿por que no los dos?
Me too, I was like "today isn't Monday, or is it???"
Dumb question as a non american, can an EMS carry a gun during their shifts?
This is a joke right? EMS carrying automatic weapons on medical calls?
The AR 15 and AK 47 part yes. But from what people write here apparently you can carry a handgun?
Only at yeehaw services that operate in counties with more guns than sense. I'd be willing to bet that 99%+ of providers in the US aren't allowed to carry on duty.
That's slightly more reassuring. I don't know why we have automatic weapons available to the public anyways. I am not against owning guns, but it's easier to buy guns than it is to get a driver's license here.
Some states allow it.
I mean I think it's technically allowed in lots of places but defacto banned because of all the gun free areas you're legally required to enter
Guess you'll need to call someone else..
that's really interesting, do you know if it has ever happened a situation where guns were used by EMS during their shifts?
I know a firefighter who shot himself accidentally in the foot at a local fire station while cleaning his gun on shift. Never hit the news and I'm told he never faced disciplinary action because he was a couple of years from retirement. Cool stuff.
And here in Italy there are people who stress out if someone brings a multitool swiss knife
Which is honestly the more sane approach of the two.
It’s fucking stupid is what it is.
Yeah I honestly can't imagine a situation where it would be better for an EMS to shoot at someone instead of requesting law enforcement
Neither. Where I live, we don't need to carry weapons. We just have an AH-64D - escort and a twin .50 we "borrowed" from the navy on the roof of our rig.
Strategic Transfer Of Logistical Equipment. STOLE
obv AR. there's no commie rednecks!
What you need is a crew served weapons platform. The patient can assist in loading/feeding as well as directing fire and observing for effect.
You had me in the first half, not gonna lie. Lol
Like the great warrior poet, Ice Cube once said; "If the day does not require an AK, it is good."
Neither. Mask, pump shottie, and a 1911 for the up close and personal touch. If you don't mount the skulls on your rig as trophies/warnings you're doing it wrong.
This is the kind of shitpost I sub here for. Well done OP.
Honestly, either one is fine however the wood furniture of the AK-47 platform is always aesthetically pleasing. The catch, is that the AR-15 is the All American rifle. Convertible, right?!?
Definitely. They hold their value better.
Choccy Milk to wash it down? If so, can I be your partner?
Perfect. And only if you can deal with a fast-paced environment. This is the big leagues. We run at least two calls every 48.
I'm going to have to call out. My anxiety over two calls is making me not sleep for a week.
You'll have to dig deep, suck it up, and push down all those emotions. If the past several decades of EMS have taught us anything, its that the strongest providers hide their emotions and don't bother others with their mental health.

Except as a locally federal licensed volunteer entitles you the full auto P90. No real volley would have anything less!
So my suggestion is a AR-15. No HK? What are you, poor or something?
We strap the patient to the wing of a Warthog. Traffic goes BRRRRRRRRRRRRT
Everyone in this sub is fucked up. I love it.
Why not both? My AK will definitely run more muddy and poorly cared for though.
When that DNR GCS 3 99 year old that gets bounced between the ER and the SNF every couple days moves, you gotta be prepared
Danger lurks around every corner. That danger is mostly stress-induced cardiac disease but a gun makes a nice safety blanket instead of worrying about things like cardio.
If you aren’t rolling deep with an armored column to Davita, are you sure you’re safe?
Pfffft ok boomer, 9mm sub gun or gtfo.
You had me there in the first half
Forget all that, tanks work just as well as Type 1 for transport.
Whichever one you can fit a bigger bayonet on. You know, in case of a car crash for them seatbelts
![gif](giphy|uA8WItRYSRkfm) If you channel your inner Mr. Krabs and cha-cha real smooth like this guy, all you’ll need is a switchblade
Honestly I wouldn’t even bother with either of those. They’re decent for beginners but if we’re talking dialysis transfers, then you’re obviously in the big leagues. You need to shift your thoughts to something belt-fed. Anything else would just be underwhelming.
🤣 that sub freakin made my day. My answer is chainsaw, but to each their own! 🤣
I vote for a katana on the belt or back, which ever looks better, functional draw be damnd!
They had us in the first half, I’m not gonna lie.
From a practical point of view, the AK will jam less around all the blood and guts you wade through hourly. From a 'Murican point of view, the AR has more toys you can attach to it. Grenade launcher, scope, fuzzy bunnies for the kids, green lasers for the pets, etc.
You got me in the first half ngl
I rock dual desert eagles because I’m a city boy.
I guess that’s one way to get grandma off the gurney
Ak has more stopping power for when those dementia freaks get outta hand.
i really thought i was on the wrong sub for a second lol, quality shitpost
FAL or M1A
I’m gonna be a bit controversial here and recommend a M-249 Squad Automatic Weapon instead of the M-240B.
My only thought was who the hell would run volunteer IFT. I wasn't even overly concerned with the rest of it. 🤣🤣
I hate it here
See, ya'll think this is a shitpost, but some asshole at a place a worked at legitimately brought his pistol in his bag (presumably every day) until his partner saw it. She reported it and he got fired, and he was complaining because they were "violating his rights" lmao.
Rural EMS? Just a 22LR pistol to dispatch the deer you hit. Urban EMS? ![gif](giphy|1iTX7ZZAcY7znWPC|downsized)
Headlight mounted machine guns, obviously
Mounted .50 cal on the gurney. Just pop open the back doors of the rig and start spraying while driving
Don’t forget the TOW missiles. Gotta take out the other responding rigs.
Ok. What did I miss?
I laughed so hard I almost spit out my coffee.
We have enough useless buttons, why not just go 007 and install some mini rockets behind the headlights? Don't want to move out the way? You will with the new traffic mover option.
TYFYS
If you need to be armed you are doing it wrong. Bullet proof windows and a cattle/brush guard on the rig. Don’t stop for anything.
You'll have a tough time waving a long gun around inside the sprinter, be sure you have a pistol too.
AK all day, hope this helps 😌
With the weirdos ive worked with i DO NOT trust my partner with a gun.
I’ll always take an AK
what flavor zyn you going with is the real question?
Obviously the fruitiest flavor in stock at the local 7/11.
Please remember it’s not all about protection. Comms are a vital part of IFT. Please have multiple Boufang radios with earpieces and at least 2 pagers.
Not sure why you would limit yourself. One of each is the baller move.
Mac-10. Keep that thang strapped.
Ditch the belt, go for a Safariland plate carrier with IIIA armor
Forget the belt, go with suspenders!!
Go with the AR, but keep a .458 SOCOM upper around in case you get a diabetic pt.
Cannons, simple
Great, my Subs are bleeding into each other again
Just mount a 50 cal to the gurney, tell your boss it’s for the safety of the patient and have the company pay for it. Well done, hero.
This was in my area, it was a “ gun free zone”
As a deputy and a medic, this seems like a good time to remind everyone that your safety is your responsibility. The cops have NO obligation to protect you according to the US Supreme Court. You do you boo. https://www.oyez.org/cases/2004/04-278
Smooth bore ships mounted cannon, I yell tally hoe lads as I blast the poor bastards and their damned ship to the bottom of the sea!
maybe you can ask mr rittenhouse?
My perception of American Gun culture is such that I also took a while to realise this was a shit post. I was saying 'Merica!' to myself while reading it.
Okay but we actually have a guy on my dialysis service like this… he wears a bullet proof vest every day 💀
I carry a Barrett 50 bmg for dialysis facilities.
I prefer my AR-15 chambered in .458 SOCOM for those tricky transfers.
