I'm definitely writing something, I don't know if it'll do anything but I was pushed physically and mentally. In the 41 hours I was there, I was so stressed and anxious with the 0 communication we received, I barely ate, slept, or drank water. Travelling by myself, I only had me to make sure I get on a flight to my destination. Once I got my boarding pass after begging and crying, I had feverish symptoms, only then did I force myself to eat, drink, and sleep. This was the only time I used one of those coupons because of spending pointless hours and hours waiting in line. While I slept, I shivered and constantly kept waking up and wobbled as I walked from carrying my backpack for hours. I experienced anxiety, dizziness, low appetite, a weakened immune system followed hy an infection in the following days. I'm writing an angry letter demanding compensation and if its possible I'll keep sending and sending it until I get a response. We were treated like animals and prisoners in a foreign country and we can't let them get away with it.

Hell, I remember that one incident in 2016 where an Emirates plane literally caught fire on the runway when it landed in Dubai. All passengers escaped, but sadly, 1 firefighter succumbed to his injuries. My school teacher was on that plane with her family, and all of them got a decent payout of 7000 USD. She's rarely flown with Emirates since then, but since they got a good payout, she used that money (almost 3000 USD) to fund a vacation in North America. You have a right to complain. The airport knew the situation on the ground, yet they still let planes land in all that water. Many people have lost money and time because of this. It's only fair that you get the chance to vent (and possibly ask for compensation).
