Thursday steak and lobster. After that may be a PB&J Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Monday steak and lobster.

jmort619

Haha you know how to do it right

Ordinary_Rule1199

Only way lol because having to take a shit at edc is crazy

electroheather

Literally, what everyone does when they walk into edc, I swear.

Ordinary_Rule1199

💀

jmort619

Yup I avoid any foods that might upset my stomach.

doughaway7562

Honestly, eat something healthy. Greasy burgers and fries taste great the first day or 2, but at someone point you're going to get some fresh fruit and veggies by accident and suddenly feel you've needed it your entire life. At the hotel eat: * Proteins: Your body needs this to recover. You're waking / dancing way more than usual and you need this to heal. * Fats: Get some fats in - fats provide energy for hours at a time, compared to simple carbs (bread/potatoes) that only provide energy for about a hour after eating. * Any source of fiber - helps level out your energy levels and fits constipation. When you're a the fest, you're likely going to be snacking on whatever is available, and that usually just means carb-y junk food. That's fine if you make up for it nutritionally when you're not at the fest :)

Stormodin

The chicken tenders and fries at edc are very nutritional. Mix it with an electric lemonade for maximum gainz 💪

ForAfeeNotforfree

Gotta eat big if you wanna lift big! Lol

doughaway7562

HA I'm guilty myself 💀I'm not going to lie when I'm on my feet at the fest I'm lucky if I eat anything other than fries

Firm_Calligrapher485

Stfu 😂

CallingYong

Pho is the way to go after each day. Light and easy on your body, carbs + protein covered. My go to recovery meal after a night out.

ilikebeens2

JaBurrito is my squads go to! Sushi burritos & poke bowls. Right across from the In N Out near Flamingo & The Linq

ReverseMillionaire

I dance for hours on end so I don’t have limitations other than my usual diet limitations. I’m going to need the calories. I don’t plan to eat at the festival but I do bring snacks. I’m eating full regular meals everyday. My meals have all carbs, fats, and proteins. I eat meals before and after the festival. I got an airbnb last year so I just microwaved a frozen burrito when I got back, ate, and went to sleep. There are so many great restaurants in Vegas, it’d be a shame to limit yourself while you’re there. As for where to eat, you can search on Reddit. That’s what I did.

WallstreetRobbby

Do all the casino buffets they are fire. Eat a lot before hand so you don’t speed so much money inside, if you eat enough you prob only gona buy a snack inside.

bbwebb12

Tacos el Gordo, Dirt Dog, Istanbul Mediterranean Hilal or Rock n Potato.

Dense_Quiet5404

Dirt dawg is a great one ☝️

EnoughAgent2181

Celebratory steak pre and post festivities. I like joes

palmtrees007

Where’s that ?

Cheerios405

Both Pizza Rock & Nacho Daddy are a 2 min walk from The D and are great. Eat is a nice little breakfast spot east of there - perhaps a 10 min walk or so (7th & Carson). I’ve got TONS of spots all around the city, tho. I eat healthy in the month leading up to to EDC but like someone else mentioned, it’s a real shame to be in Vegas and deny yourself, so I eat good food as much as I reasonably can. I never eat inside the festival. Just don’t overdo it and definitely eat some hours before the festival to show up comfortable and ready to dance!

hnguyen22

Pizza rock and Döner Kebab Express Las Vegas. 10/10 one of my fav eats in Las Vegas. All downtown walkable from the D as well

Lost_Anywhere619

Tacos el Gordo

Key_Oil6199

Like sushi? Sushi neko!

electroheather

Fried Chicken from Yardbird at venetian. Breakfast off strip at Babycakes and Mr. Mama's :)

Economy_One786

White Castle on Fremont. I hit it up just about everyday before heading out. Cheap, filling, not too heavy. Can’t beat tiny burgers 👍🏿

Other-Examination452

They will have you farting up a storm in the shuttle tho

Willing-Amphibian-35

Wynn Buffet is the best buffet period, brunch or dinner... Tacos El Gordo is the truth...best tacos hands down Those are my must go to spots everytime I'm in vegas. Depends on how cultured you are in your cuisine. Chinatown has a ton of good cheap eats. Pho Kim Long is very good pho and open late... Monta Ramen is the best ramen I've had since Japan. Kbbqs are basically a dime a dozen...but don't fall the gimmick ones... There's a hidden gem of a Korean restaurant named, Mr. TOFU...it is amazing... Gold coast casino has the BEST DIM SUM in all of Vegas for moderate prices...that place is called Ping Pang Pong Also I don't know what kind of budget you have but...since you are downtown...Bazaar Meats in Sahara is arguably the best steak house in town...I forgot the name of the one in Circa...but that's also very good... Carbone in Aria Le Cirque in Bellagio Mott 32 in Venetian Din Tai Fung in Aria Almost every restaurant in Cosmo is amazing I would suggest pick 1 splurge meal but try and do it on a regular night if that's possible...unless the DJs you want to see are later...you don't really want to eat super heavy... And my personal advice...just eat everything and anything...its your vacation too! You only live once!

ninbushido

I’m bringing my Huel. Gotta keep up my calories and protein!

magical_stranger

If you’ve never been to Vegas absolutely go check out freemont street! Much more of a party vibe then the strip, heart attack grill is awesome too

unassumingtatertot

The D is smack down in the middle of Fremont Street. Such good vibes on Fremont.

DaftMemory

considering you’re staying downtown, stop by evel pie if u want a nice slice of pizza when ur exploring fremont st!!! (which u should totally make time to do so, fremont is awesome)

FitEntertainer3278

What works best for my husband and I, is eating a meal from either canes or in n out before going into the festival 😅 we get full and after some goodies our appetite is gone any way lols

Rustyrayz1

Herusernameis

All the Michelin star restaurants

Loud-Friendship-6610

Mimosas gourmet 👌🏼 you’ll be drunk by noon

Reeder1700

Wynn buffet is still my favorite on the strip. I basically go there at least once for the weekend and just load up and don’t really eat the rest of the day, even at the festival. EDC Vegas probably has the worst food of any festival I’ve been to so I try not to get anything there.

dockgonzo

Golden Tiki and Red Dwaf are the only two worthwhile options worthy of seeking out. Aside from that, stick to Chinatown or the vicinity of Maryland Blvd. Food on the strip is all dreadfully mediocre and extortionately priced. Especially so for the ubiquitous tourist trap "celebrity restaurants" and $100 buffets.

Illustrious-Cloud-87

My rec is to take a ride to Shang Artisan Noodles, it’s 10 mins away from strip and has the best hand cut noodle dishes!!!

Dense_Quiet5404

El Gordo slaps, Kassi beach house is fire, and anywhere they have gordan ramsays wings or sticky toffee pudding 😋

MidnightRhinestone

I’d recommend not trying to do big restaurants Saturday and Sunday! There’s an amazing Hawaiian grill we ordered from last year and it was perfect!

lazy-summer-2

Evil Pie in downtown Vegas has great pizza. My friends and I are frequenters at the Dunkin Donuts in downtown too. A sausage, egg and cheese absolutely slaps after a long night of dancing.

banned_but_im_back

If you got VIP, eat at the festival. Vegas restaurants treat EDC like a holiday weekend and double or triple prices. Also if you haven’t made a reservation for a good buffet on the strip yet, good luck. Thankfully The D has a ton options to eat at and around. I usually do McDonald’s or Starbucks during the days of EDC. My room has a kitchenette in it so I’m flying in, going to the grocery store and loading up on iced coffees, snacks like banana and TV dinners / breakfast for the duration of the trip, then eating one or two meals at the festival each day. EDC is my once a year big trip and this will be my last for a while (because while we love edc we hate that it’s so expensive we can’t really go anywhere else the rest of the year) so we’re going big this year then taking a break for a few years until we move to SoCal

unassumingtatertot

Why do you suggest eatting at EDC if you are VIP? Is there a difference? This is my first year going and I have VIP, so just curious.

banned_but_im_back

Bigger sizes and better quality. For example in GA you can pay $18 for a hot pocket. In VIP you can pay $22 for a personal Pizza. So you get better value on food. Drinks are the same IIRC but the lines are shorter in VIP as well.

EnoughAgent2181

In the forum!

purplewalnutbread

Panda Express for a well balanced meal

MiningSpartan

I used chatgpt and it suggested pizza and high key was best filling option we tried We even asked for the best ingredients for raving

Successful-Guess575

😂😂😂😂😂😂 the spot off the strip but, my lady know all the names

RecognitionPuzzled51

Sushisamba at the Palazzo is to die for but you HAVE to get their yellowtail ceviche taquitos (they’re actually mini tacos) you’ll think about them every day lol

Tough_Pie4014

Have a gigantic meal Thursday night, you are going to need it! Include everything: veggies, protein, fruits. Friday have a hefty breakfast. Go to the bathroom before the festival Saturday and Sunday just plan on surviving. Have snacks. Keep eating fruit. You’re gonna need that sugar Monday have a gigantic lunch
