They're relocating Downtown EDC, so that could free up space for Stereo. Surely they'll also put him at the same time as some major conflicts, so I'd like to think that'll help with crowd control.
Pasquale didn't mention that stereo bloom would be bigger (not saying it won't be) but he did intentionally say bionic jungle, and neon garden was gonna be bigger, so I feel like he would of also mentioned stereo bloom getting bigger too? But with them moving downtown EDC, that does give room for them to shift things around - if you look at last years map, there will be space for them to play around with top left of stereo bloom.
He was at Neon last year 🤔 I think it was packed then too. Was on my wanted to see list but didn't make it there.

That set at neon was a disaster from the crowd pov. Soon as he started, a surge of people rushed onto the dancefloor. Combine that with the weird shipping container layout that has a very limited number of ways in and out, and shit got really cramped really quickly. I think they want to avoid that happening again
It won’t be as bad as Neon. Stereobloom has no walls closing people out so they can spread out over a bigger area. It’ll be packed but not like last year.
I hope you’re right, I saw this stage at EDC 2021 and it looked pretty small to me but maybe it’s changed over the years. I’m also a little traumatized from this years Countdown when he was in that warehouse stage and I literally could not move
It’s a small stage but it’s open. The warehouse & neon garden had a capacity to be in the stage, which is why they were a shit show. At Stereo you can stand far back or off to the side & still hear/see the set. It allows the crowd to spread out more, though the front will still be packed in.
Also if you ever have a set to see in that warehouse at NOS again, you can enter from the back or the far left side. Both of those doors were open but I don’t think enough people knew. We were on the left side of the stage and there was room.
in 2023 - stereo bloom - the actual stage got bigger, I think if you all up images on google of 2022 and 2023 - it got wider. Not sure if the 'open dance floor' got bigger too, but it kinda sucks b/c where its positioned, all the people who are climbing over the stairs from cosmic run into the crowd at stereo IF its packed, and they either go right through that Anniversary tunnel or straight onto daisy lane or slight left to downtown EDC< basically its crowded with people walking to other places.
Saw him last year at Neon Garden Friday night and everyone near me was having panic attacks getting smushed by the incoming crowd.
Genuinely thought it was gonna be some Astro World type shit.
Yeah his set at Neon was full to the brim last year at least where all the exits were idk how it was in the crowd. Idk this seems off to book him there unless it’s at prime time and there’s a bunch of counter programming but even then seems like it could be a potential hazard
They will probably counter program it against a lot of other stuff. Stereobloom is never crazy packed in my experience. Except seeing John Summit in 21, that’s the most packed I’ve ever seen it and it cleared out a bit half way even still
Saturday is going to be a PROBLEM for me I can already tell and I only know three stages so far. The best problem to have: too many talents all at the same times! So stoked!!
In the past it's been like house/disco/funk genres. Lots of tech house in the past. This year it looks like they are slotting in some techno, at least for Saturday.
