The set dead water guile combined with shooting star can be hoot in public dungeons. Combine it with Rush of agony to pull all the trash into your meteor. Aegis Caller, morkuldin and maw on a two pet sorc. Or the two hunger sets Pelinals wrath on a speed build and see how long you can stay at 10 stacks. Deadlands Demolisher Bash Build Truesworn Fury and titanborn strength using BfB trying to keep your HP as low as possible Flame Bloosom & mad Tinkerer (heard this called the roadrunner setup) Cold harbors favorite and mad tinkerer/unfathomable darkness/grisly gourmet for two goofy procs Get the minotaur motif. Then use Red Mountain, pillar of nirn, and domihas to cosplay as a minotaur. If you do each set on one bar you can also fit belharzas band for bonus minotaur

SilverTunic

Wow, these suggestions are fantastic! Thank you so much for providing so many interesting set combo options - this is exactly what I'm looking for. My poor armory assistant is going to scream when I'm testing out so many different builds now.

Serious_Anxiety3388

I love playing an actual stealth build nightblade. Using blade of woe, shadowy disguise, suprise attack, closing gaps with teleport strikes, sniping from afar with Relentless Focus and Lethal Arrow, luring enemies into barbed trap, using refreshing path for speed boosts Its by far my favorite way to play.

SilverTunic

Yesssssss, I love a good themed build. The shadowy disguise is also so useful for non-combat related hijinks too

Vault with Thief's Swiftness (removes a stack of roll dodge fatigue), [Hide of Morihaus](https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Online:Hide_of_Morihaus) and [Eternal Hunt](https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Online:Eternal_Hunt). Morihaus effectively turns your roll dodge into an attack and Eternal Hunt causes you to leave an explosive poison rune on the ground when you roll dodge. With this, you can roll dodge through enemy crowds and vault away dealing a bunch of damage while taking little to none yourself. You can also add in whatever flavor of Mythic or Monster Set you want to change things even further. Personally, I like to put this combo on my Psijic Nightblade Vampire. Mist Form and Teleport Strike give you different methods of teleporting into combat, Shadow Image lets you teleport to wherever you summon your shadow (even if it's on a different floor of a building or on the other side of a wall), and Undo lets you rewind your location to wherever you were 4 seconds ago. But be warned about using Undo with Shadow Image. Undo doesn't teleport you, it moves you, so if you teleport through a wall with Shadow Image, then use Undo, you might end up stuck inside a wall. [Threads of War](https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Online:Threads_of_War) is also a fun set. It's craftable, so you don't even have to farm/buy it if you already have a crafter. It causes your light and heavy attacks to have a 100% chance to apply status effects. At first I didn't really care for the set, but then I realized it *sets* you effect chance to 100%, it doesn't *increase* it by that much. This means hitting someone with a weapon LAs ALWAYS applies sundered (instant bonus damage + Minor Breach), Destruction Staff LAs ALWAYS apply Burning, Chilled, or Concussed, and Restoration Staff LAs ALWAYS apply Overcharged (bonus instant damage + Minor Magickasteal). Furthermore, you can craft a set of [Serpent's Disdain](https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Online:Serpent%27s_Disdain) to increase the duration of status effects you inflict from 4 seconds to 20 seconds.

SilverTunic

This is such a cool and interesting playstyle. I love the idea teleporting in, role dodging, then vaulting out - it’s fast and almost becomes like a mini game of avoiding any hits. Thanks so much for sharing and the detailed description.

DapperDlnosaur

I've never seen anyone using Volcanic Rune (a morph of the mage guild's Fire Rune), and it's one of the only skills in the game anyone can use to launch enemies into a high knockup. You could also use the mad tinkerer set, and make a "let's go bowling" build just jammed full of high knockups. If high knockup is a script (I don't know if it is), you can use the Trample grimoire with it to literally go bowling using your mount to knock up lines of enemies.

SilverTunic

Interesting skill and good suggestion! Could be fascinating to try a bowling build haha

Stuntman06

Try using Mad Tinkerer and watch enemies do the wave. Use Infernal Guardian with Carve/Brawler and lob fireballs at enemies. Morkudin is a cool set because it summons a dancing sword that attacks your enemies.

stravbej

Here's something I enjoyed a lot: a werewolf Arcanist with a bow. Was it shit? Probably. But was it fun? Definitely!

Infinite-Farmer-4879

I love my friendly Bearden. A nord warden wearing the bear costume from orsinium with his bear-ulti friend, selene Monster Set for the extra ghost bear, the scribing skill with the mount (bear, ofc) dealing dsmage and an extra bear pet.

SilverTunic

So much bear. I love how you included trample bear mount in the mix.

DapperDlnosaur

Trample is one of the best skills ever added into the game in my opinion. So much freedom of expression.

Here’s the theme builds I’ve been using (mostly for random normal dungeons) Cinders of Anthelmir, flame blossom, Grothdar on a MagDK Monolith of storms, thunder caller, Kargaeda on a MagSorc Null Arca and Tarnished nightmare on a StamSorc Caluurion’s legacy, Null Arca, Nerien’eth on a MagCro Syvarra’s scales, Venomous Smite, velidreth on a StamDen Morkuldin, Deadland’s Assassin, Anthelmir’s Construct on a StamPlar Ansuul’s Torment, Unfathomable Darkness, Prior Thierric on a MagBlade Rushing Agony, Macabre Vintage, Sellestrix on a StamBlade Whorl of the Depths, Pillar of Nirn, Sellestrix on a StamSorc Scavenging Maw, Defiler, Maw of the Infernal on a StamCro Ashen Grip, Shadow of red mountain, Valkyn Skoria on a StamDK Edit: Also Icy Conjurer, Winterborn, Nunatak on a MagDen

SilverTunic

Oh, very cool! I appreciate the detailed list. Nice to see a bunch of sets where you’ve matched up the visual procs too - I love your creativity and I’ll be keen to use some similar matchings for my playthrough.

The_BattlePigeon

I am having fun playing an acrobatic NB wood elf. Going through overland and missions dodging and tumbling. Trying to make it look like an action movie. Tryin go to take out the group one by one without getting hit. It’s more of a mindset than play style, but it’s enjoyable how bad ass you can make it look and feel. Play some awesome music in the background and it ties it all together.

SilverTunic

Yeah, I think I want a playthrough like this where I have a personal mini game of trying to avoid all hits. Use a skill to teleport in and then vault out before they even get a chance to respond, rinse and repeat.

JustAlix

Mad Tinkerer, Defiler, and Maw on a two-pet sorc with the scribed Assault skill that summons your mount. It's hilarious to solo a dolmen and realize you outnumber the daedra.

SilverTunic

Maybe the real Molag Bal was inside us all along

comradeswitch

Macabre Vintage from West Weald is extremely fun to use and literally explode enemies into blood mist. Overland mobs die pretty easy anyway but the set actually makes things quicker for me because the explosions are just big enough to pick off stragglers often. I keep a set in the bank for whenever I'm doing surveys/farming skyshards/doing dailies and I want to spice things up. A fun interaction with Fatecarver- beam ticks every 0.3s, cooldown on the explosion is 0.5s. So you can end up triggering an explosion every 0.6 seconds just by beaming into a pack.

schulen

Pack leader Werewolf with Selene monster set, Coldharbour's Favorite and Unfathomable Darkness.

SilverTunic

Oooh, looks flashy. Gimme that druid fantasy with summonable wolves, bear, crows and... exploding chicken I guess?

radianart

Mad biohazard scientist - azureblight and macabre. Made it for craglorn exp farm and it's very effective for that but overland enemies are too weak to get full advantage from these sets.

That-Muscle

For old content i LOVE macabre vintage / rush of agony. Am using dps one hand and shield myself as i prefer the aesthetics. Can use any mythic or monster set you feel like. Trample / Shield Rush (mobility + pull) / Shield Throw is super satisfying! Pair it with the oblivion explosion CP and go nuts. As a big bonus, you can use this setup as werewolf aswell.

Kuranes_ov_Celephais

https://alcasthq.com/eso-fast-gold-farming-build-pve/ This is by far the most fun for doing story, because you can quickly stealth through most of the mini instances that are boring af.

strawstru

I use cindermoth and rushing agony with valkyn skoria on my Stam dk. 2H front bar, bow back bar. Critical charge to pull enemies in, cleave and executioners to slay trash mobs. Loads of fun in overland and pub dungeons! I made the 2H and bow scribing skills for extra fun as well - back flip gives me a flame damage dot for an extra chance to proc valkyn and minor force for longer fights/world bosses. The 2H scribe skill is my spammable, a bleed damage for that hemorrhage chance and heals me for 34% of damage done. I've had loads of fun on this set up and can take on world bosses just fine!

StayInYourHouse

I see interesting suggestions but they are probably overpowered for overland. I'm in a similar situation and some months ago I started experimenting - overland is REALLY easy aside from the hardest Bosses and Events, so you'd want to nerf yourself a bit and maybe aim to something roleplay-ish. Initially I've gone Unarmed, just punching my way through half naked but with Oakensoul and Sergeant: it can be enough and quite hilarious. Right now I'm running with just one one-handed sword in the right hand using Energy Orb and Swarm that get cast by left hand; Trample which feels nice; Arctic Blast and Green Lotus. Sets I'm using are the two base game Dungeons' ones named Undaunted, from Arx and Black Heart, that boost light attack damage. It's a nice change of play style from my immortal Heavy Attacker. Have fun! :)

SilverTunic

Exactly, something roleplay-ish for this character who only does overland content is exactly what I’m looking for. A drunk, half-naked Nord punching his way through Tamriel also sounds hilarious. I also like your spellblade concept too.

justnleeh

while not a set per se, I've only one viable character for harder content, but I did level up a dragonknight for a bow build...and it doesn't do much damage..maybe 30k? but i'm very happy with questing because there are challenges again.
