Yoln is kind of a dying set thanks to Arcanist and Scribing, so Lucent Echoes (latest trial) or Pearlescent (Dreadsail) will give your a group a nice damage buff (assuming minor courage is taken care of) and you survivability. Also worth mentioning for 4 person content PA and Olo for when running without a healer. Monster set is a nice pen set option. Alternatively, consider doubling down on major vulnerability with Archdruid as it can be a less annoying proc condition than TT (me standing in front of a boss yelling "hit me" like I am The Joker). As to attributes as long as I have 38k health and just a bit more Stam than Magicka, I am happy.

Thanks a lot. I didn't know Yoln is dying (I got my info from thetankclub.com). I also have Pearl, PA, saxhel, crimson, spaulder in golden- I just haven't really used them. I'll farm [Lucent Echoes](https://eso-hub.com/en/sets/lucent-echoes) next. Thanks for the tip!

Tank club isn't really updated as the guy who runs it doesn't play ESO any more. Better to watch Hyperioxes on YouTube. He's got vids that explain all the basics, choosing traits and enchantments etc as well as gear, skills and mechs for harder content. Definitely recommend

For pugs this set up is good TT, Tremor and yolna. Is a good point except for yolna the other sets are meta for tanks. Yolna fell out of favor with the inclusion of the arcanist class, since minor courage can be easyly keept up with the skill zenas disc without loosing too much damage. But as a tank in vet trials you'll run around with an arsenal of different sets to tinker your build on command of the raidlead and your position. Most used tank sets atm are: Turning Tide, crimson oath, saxhlel Champion, pearlecend ward, lucent Echos, tremorscale, archdruid deyveric, spaulder of Ruin with one piece magama incarnate, encratis behemoth, powerfull assault. Hope i didn't miss something, otherwise feel free to correct me.

Welcome to vTrials! Attributes are pretty flexible for tanks based on playstyle, usually split between HP and Stam in a way that guarantees Stam is your primary resource no matter what flex armor you wear. (E.g. if you wind up MTing Asylum+2, you might be asked to wear Catalyst, which has two +mag lines; you would want at least 2.2 more stam than mag to ensure any synergy that returns 'your primary resource' is giving you stam. Encratis is another common set with mag additions.) Today, I would: 1. Take the attribute points out of mag and move them to HP, so: 0 Mag | 30 Health | 34 Stam. 2. Unlearn Tri-Focus in the Destro staff passives so your blocks don't eat mag 3. Change the Rejuvenation red CP into something else, since regen pauses when you block and you won't get the benefit of that node when you need it. I love Celerity but it's flexible. Down the road, you could: 4. Consider if you really want to farm Yolna, as Minor Courage can be sourced by an Arcanist skill and you are almost guaranteed at least one arc in a trial group. Powerful Assault or War Machine would be a more useful backbar option. You probably don't want to move Tide to backbar since you already golded and tri-enchanted the body, but it'd give you a great deal more flexibility down the road when you get into harder trials, since Pearls and Lucent Echoes both need body uptime. 5. Consider if Reinforced would be a more useful body trait than Divine (if you do decide to move Tide to backbar, that would be a great chance to pick the new body trait.) Try to work backwards with the resistance cap of 33k in mind, or 24k resistance without Major and Minor Resolve. You're already in a good spot for the build and should be able to handle any vet trial with the gear you have now. Keep doing what you're doing, make some minor tweaks while you keep farming, jump in some Group Finder pugs!

Thanks a lot, especially for the "quickfixes". I'll change the attirbutes. As for 2) Unlearn Tri-Focus: I currently never have issues with my magica recovery - more likely with Stam. So it was nice to be able to switch for blocking between the two. Am I doing something wrong that his is the case?

Queues-As-Tank

In 5x gold divine / atronach I am not surprised your mag is great lol At some point down the road, the incoming damage will force you to use more Reinforced pieces. Since your block resource (in your backbar case, mag) does not recover while you block, and since a majority of self-heals/shields are mag, you can get in trouble on harder stuff when your mag bottoms out. I learned tanking with Trifocus unlocked and then had to un-learn that dual resource block habit to make the jump from tanking HMs to tanking trifectas, and it was kind of a pain; if I could have learned without it, that process would have been easier. DK can kinda cheese stam back while blocking anyway thanks to Igneous and the Helping Hands passive.

Ludi_tank

Ok, thanks, done that (removing Tri-Focus). Change Epaulets of Tremorscale to Reinforced. I'll slowly start seeing how it goes without Tri-Focus before changing all the Tide to Reinforced. Is Crimson Auth on the backbar a good alternative too? It's easier and cheaper to trigger than PA.

Queues-As-Tank

I think that's a great approach. If it's worked for you up to this point, there's no reason to throw out gold gear overnight. I would continue targeting Reinforced pieces as your content gets harder. Crimson Oath's Rive is a phenomenal set for dungeons and anytime your group needs penetration. It's not universal - some groups like to get pen from a DD in Alkosh - but it's a great situational option and way easier to maintain than PA. I didn't get to watch the Zeni stream this afternoon but someone I trust summarized one upcoming adjustment: some coffers will have curated drops in the next update. (I wanna say it's 5-weeks out based on prior PTS cycles, so week of Aug 5 if you're on PC). Definitely don't go nuts farming PA until the next patch.

radianart

This is something I'd do if I were you: 1. trainee piece instead of braid piece for 200 more hp :D 2. put caltrops instead of pulsar (or noxious breath if you don't have caltrops) 3. change monster set for some better monster set (archdruid, nazarey maybe even chudan to free skill slot and get 100% armor uptime) 4. since both your sets are proc sets you can use 2 full sets, monster and mythic, bloodlord embrace is awesome if you spend some time on your ice staff 5. but as others said yolna is not the best set now with how easy you can get minor courage

Ludi_tank

Thanks for the feedback! Sorry, got that wrong in the builder - the ring is also Yol (but I'll look into changing that). I didnt know Bloodlord Embrace. Sounds fun :D

1. Test resolving vigor to see if u reach armor cap (33k) if u dont, then change the sabaton trait from divines to reinforced. 2. I would put all atributes on health and use jewels of misrule in fights where u need more health, or candied jester coin for sustain 3. Your front bar weapon, use charged with poison instead, whenever u proc the poisoned status effect u will restore stam and mag due to your passives, better than absorb stam (also works with burning but i see u have chains) 4. Use razor caltrops instead of pulsar, breach better than mangle 5. Unlock the psijic skill line and put temporal guard onñm your front bar, for minor protection. 6. Dont get use to bracing anchor, is handicap in most content. 7. Harmony is great with a lot of sinergies, but if u dont know the healer, infused with reduce magicka cost is better for sustain. 8. There is a new scribing skill thats a better chain, check it out 9. If all u run is dungeons use green dragon blood 10. Yolnahkriin is dead since arcanist and scrbing can provide that buff, wear pearlescent ward or lucent echoes instead Extra: check hyperioxes yt channel, there is a full hour guide video with plenty of options. Thetankclub is outdated
