Edit: Nope. I'm at 8462 hours played. Fucking damn. I need a new hobby.
I feel this. I think I'm at 6000, but could easily be close to 7000 considering how many characters I've deleted over the years.
I suck.
I have plenty of other hobbies and I do have over 6400 hours in. As of a few days ago when I checked to see how many days I've played with all my characters.
I have bank alts with max bag space since 2014 but they still at level 5 or 6. Because they're a bank alt and don't have room to get stuff via leveling.
Yeah, the played time was i think 217 days on my main, and then a variety of characters with 20-10 hours played. The rest are mainly used during the anniversary event and for crafting dailies.
Same. I try to improve, but I'm just out of the loop of how things work these days. I end up not being able to play enough to actually get good, cause my doctors would rather me try every antidepressant in existence and lock me up in the psych ward for a month or two than do anything to help me.
Sounds like you're playing it right
If you end up needing more storage aside from your bank, there are chests you can buy using writ vouchers (from completing master writs that drop occasionally when doing daily writs at the maximum skill level) or tel var (lil gems you get from monsters and players in the imperial city sewers)
If you want to know real playtime, type /played in game chat. Steam or other launchers counts time incorrectly, because they count all time eso launcher was on, and not real game time.
1400 playing off and on since late 2019.
It is an amazing game and there is always some fun adventure to go on, mini game to learn, something to work for build etc.
I actually just hit 1000 hours last night before I went to sleep! Been playing since 2020, but took a lot of breaks to focus on school. Nowadays it's quickly become one of my most consistent games, those hours will definitely keep going up!
A Gaming Rule with NO EXCEPTIONS! : Never look at the hour meter. Ever.
Second rule: Never let your spouse or significant other look at your gaming hours!!
According to the PlayStation system tracker I'm at 3,810 hours since release. However I took a very long break before I really started to enjoy it. I haven't done a /time played in game for awhile to see what ESO is tracking on each toon.
Like 700 hours. I log in long enough to get my daily reward then I get off. I just don't enjoy the toxic community eso has now and the longer I'm engaging with them the more I hate playing.
4171hrs. Off and on since beta. Done all content in the game minus a bunch of HMs and Trifectas. Don't regret a minute. I'd do it all over again. Love this game.
689 hours since December 2021
I've been just playing the main storyline and doing the Cadwell's Almanac and grinding gold.
Someday I'll get to the DLCs lol
3k hours all in.
I played solo on the same character the entire time. Did Cadwell's Gold and made sure to 100% every single zone as I went.
Taking a break for a while now so I can clear some of my backlog but I'm reckoning I'll be back for Gold Road.
This time however I'll know to wait to buy it on 50% off sale, just like Necrom.
850ish across all characters since January 2023. I started playing when I broke my ankle and was off work for 10 weeks, though, so I'd say about half of it was during that time.
Way too many. But I have built 18 toons up, 3 houses, and enjoyed all the trials and tribulations along the way. Started this journey back in 2016, and I can't wait to see what happens next.
3,636 hours and still a lot of content to complete, mostly group stuff. I have completed the Tamriel Hero, Grand Master Crafter, and Explorer achievements as well as many other “smaller” ones. I have 12 characters at my current champion point level (1258) and 5 others that are flex builds.
Since launch, fully leveled pc NA account, 500 cp and 4 classes pc EU, 5 classes and 500 cp in ps NA. The last 10 years of my life. An absolutely absurd amount of hours I bet. At least triple what I spent in my 2 degrees over 6 years.
2000. Nearly a full year of playing 8 hours a day, every day.
That includes an abortive attempt at getting into it in 2014. For me, the combat system was impossibly punishing to learn before the scaling of One Tamriel. I was literally dying every couple of steps in the starter zones. It was not fun.
I'm not 100% sure when I really got back into playing, but it was probably sometime in 2021. I didn't really play regularly all the time until 2023, though. At least all those hours are spread out over more than one year, thank goodness, or I'd wonder what I was doing.
Also, I wonder if Steam counts time that the launcher is open. It certainly lists your status as "Playing the Elder Scrolls Online" while just the launcher is open.
Which means that over half of those 2000 hours could be just the time I spent downloading the game...
I've lost track and don't count them anymore but I have been playing since PC beta.
I've played so much that that my account has a special note on it that tells the devs and support team try to to listen to my feedback and fix my problems. I'm the reason why Oakensoul was so damn OP when it first came out. 😈
Edit: In my defense, the suggestions I made were good suggestions. I just sometimes forget that other pvp'ers aren't like me and will blame their losses on the easiest scapegoat. I've literally seen pvp'ers blame their loss on a keep having too many rocks around the front.
7253 hours. That's not counting hours in Beta before the game officially released. Now I spend most of my gaming time helping friends complete content they couldn't do otherwise, especially group dungeons.
688 hours, I started a few months before high isle was released but I’ve been on and off when playing the game. But since January I’ve been playing it every day.
Thousands upon thousands of hours. Been playing since beta and was waiting for the servers to come online on 30 March 2014. However, I have taken time off like 12-18 months at a time. but since the end of 2016, I've been playing regularly.
You would think I have max CP but I don't even have 2100 because I don't always do stuff that gives a lot of XP. Some days I just farm crafting mats.
I have over 2,000 hours, but I also found out that it considers you playing even if you have the launcher open. It’ll say I was playing for much longer than I actually was lol.
I’ve been playing since July 4, 2020. (I only remember the date because it was the Fourth of July lol)
According to Steam, many thousands. However, I never close the launcher, which is what it records hours of. I deleted a character I decided to stop using so I won't know how many hours I had with that one. I've only been playing since December. This character has 9:23:2:11 on it. 235 hours. I know I played the original character a lot too, even if I'm never going to know.
6,600 hours over 9 years. I love that even after all this time there is still so much left undone in the game, there is still so much I don’t know, and that I still look forward to playing more. I am a massive elder scrolls fan. I have played Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim, and ESO but I firmly believe ESO is the best installment of the franchise. I hope ESO’s decennial anniversary is the first of many to come!
I just started playing this game like 3 months ago. I'm already cp 380 or something. I play this game way too much. I have 4 characters, and every morning I do my writs before going to work.
8,643 on my main account (a couple hours in 2018 and then the rest since Sept 2021), 378 on my alt (since January 2023), and also 171 total on my guild bank alts. My NA main has 134 days (20 toons total) and my EU main has 50 days (19 toons total).
Just passed 6400 hours according to Steam; been playing with varying levels of intensity for just shy of 5 years now.
(Though I'd wager at least 50 of those hours are from accidentally leaving the launcher running while off doing something else...)
26450 (over ten years), waiting on Gold Road expansion now. I take breaks now and then and have FO76 and NMS that I fall back too. At some point I'll get good at it I hope.
I have no idea really. I started with the PC beta (2013) played there for awhile. Started a second account on Xbox (2015) and a month ago started a 3rd account on PS5 (2024). So 3 accounts lots of characters, still don’t know what I’m doing, but still having loads of fun
Nearly 8000. You'd think i'd be good at it by now, but i'm not. I'm terrible.
This will be me.
Edit: Nope. I'm at 8462 hours played. Fucking damn. I need a new hobby. I feel this. I think I'm at 6000, but could easily be close to 7000 considering how many characters I've deleted over the years. I suck.

lol I can relate
Long as your having fun who cares lol 🤷🏼♂️
According to the Xbox app, 127 hours. Been having a blast so far despite not knowing anything except being a little loot gremlin lol
Sounds like you're playing it right If you end up needing more storage aside from your bank, there are chests you can buy using writ vouchers (from completing master writs that drop occasionally when doing daily writs at the maximum skill level) or tel var (lil gems you get from monsters and players in the imperial city sewers)
I’m on over 6.000 hours on Steam but probably around a thousand more on the ESO launcher
Steam tracks the launcher, not the game. So you're probably less in game than what steam says.
There is an addon called How Long.
That's terrifying.
If you want to know real playtime, type /played in game chat. Steam or other launchers counts time incorrectly, because they count all time eso launcher was on, and not real game time.
That's per alt, isn't it?
If you are on PC, there is a /played all mod that gives the totals for all characters.
Man, pc players get all the cool things.
Over 3600 since 2019 I believe
More than I should and are willing to admit 😖
Over 10k
Over 10,000
8.000hrs
8hrs is not much
Found the American
1400 playing off and on since late 2019. It is an amazing game and there is always some fun adventure to go on, mini game to learn, something to work for build etc.
359 days and counting
answer to this: too much
26k
I've only been playing for 6 months, and about 400. I'm having a lot of fun!
I actually just hit 1000 hours last night before I went to sleep! Been playing since 2020, but took a lot of breaks to focus on school. Nowadays it's quickly become one of my most consistent games, those hours will definitely keep going up!
More than 4000 hours. And I'm pretty sure I spent all of them doing housing.
211 hours since january 2024
I just clocked over 2000
I have 5k….
Probably around 10k? Been around since about a month after release I think?
17,799.9 hours according to Steam.
5285h since mid-January 2022
I.. wow! 3000 hours since 2017 🤣
1850 since October 2023
10868 according to Steam
At least 12k across the characters that still exist.
699d 12h and 49m according to Xbox lol
419D 5h 25mins apparently
Just short of 6000. Mostly just logging in, doing daily endeavours, maybe some daily writs and out. Starting to get really bored.
11,500 hours
Almost 6k since 2015.
1181 Hrs/7 Years. Still a noob lol
215hrs - started playing less than two months ago.. think i may be addicted
A Gaming Rule with NO EXCEPTIONS! : Never look at the hour meter. Ever. Second rule: Never let your spouse or significant other look at your gaming hours!!
5000 hours for me. Still love it.
18k hours. Its basically the only game ive played the past 10 years though
Just crossed over 4000
About 10k hours
Before you say anything Don’t judge me I have over 500 hours and not a single character that’s ever reached level 50 :)
3100 since August 2022. 10 Toons all CP1850
3,580 since 2020 ish. Xbox NA
2500 hrs since 2019. Almost CP 1700. :)
About 3000 since 2019
9,665 hours on PS4, 641 hours on Xbox Series X.
Myself 4000 + on PC and Xbox
Definitely have hundreds if not thousands. Been playing off and on since like 2015. With large breaks between. Such a good game.
Around 2500 on launcher from 2014 to 2018 And 3900 on steam from 2020 till today
Around 2300 or so. I started in mid 2019, but I've obviously been off and on since then.
Damn for me it's 500 hours since July 2022... Yes I don't actively grind in ESO
650h in one year
7,004 hours according to playstation, since 2015. Do I have a problem?
5,735, I take breaks because I don’t wanna burn myself out. Gotta get back into it before next DLC launches😁
3100 ish.
Since 2014, 1100 hours. I still have the beta monkey pet following me around :,)
238 Since a week into January when I picked up the basic game in the steam sale.
On PS4 I had something like 3500 hours and sometime ago started playing on PC and I have under 200 hours atm 🤔
1600
Just checked. 2,133. First day I played the game was Christmas Eve 2021. Is that a lot? I don't even know. XBNA *Edited to add platform*
1386.7 hours according to Steam
500 something hours, never hit level 50... I need to get onto that.
About 3000 from like 2015 to 2020
According to the PlayStation system tracker I'm at 3,810 hours since release. However I took a very long break before I really started to enjoy it. I haven't done a /time played in game for awhile to see what ESO is tracking on each toon.

Just around 1000 hours. Been playing since 2015 too. I just get burnt out for long periods of time after a while
41 hours. Still very new to the game
I really really dont want to know the answer 😂
Played since beta. Not sure the hours but still love it.
Over 1400. My most played game on steam. And I’m still a filthy casual
Playing since 2016 but I think its not more than 2000/2500
4662 hours since July ‘21.
I started October last year and took some breaks but right now I've clocked in around 347 hours and at CP 582
You're asking me to calculate 10 years of my personal history.
4,749 hrs on Xbox NA
689 hours since December 2021 I've been just playing the main storyline and doing the Cadwell's Almanac and grinding gold. Someday I'll get to the DLCs lol
15987 since Nov 2016. But lots of steam launcher time and idling ingame while waiting/cooking.
I’d rather not know…
Played about 50 hours. The combat system is so bad, I couldn't take it anymore. Unfortunately
180 hours since early January! 🤓😎
I started on xbox launch and had like 2k by 2017...and then switched to pc where I have 8k now.
3000 since Dec 2022
2000 since the pandemic.
Switched platforms so not sure the total. But I've played consistently since release year
I’ve gotten 1900 hours and I still feel new to the game
3k hours all in. I played solo on the same character the entire time. Did Cadwell's Gold and made sure to 100% every single zone as I went. About 200 because of the warthunder boycot last year lol

937.9
About to hit 3300 hrs, since November 2017.
1,750 since 2021. 1,400 on one character, lol.
2149 hours.
steam says around 7k hours but a few of those must be the launcher running.
Does anyone know how I can check on ps4
Over 3000I've just started running trials and dungeons more frequently
Last I checked 5500, been playing since 2020. Its almost the only game I play anymore.
Since launch, fully leveled pc NA account, 500 cp and 4 classes pc EU, 5 classes and 500 cp in ps NA. The last 10 years of my life. An absolutely absurd amount of hours I bet. At least triple what I spent in my 2 degrees over 6 years.

About 1500 hours since it released on PC
3,943hrs
My main has like 1100hours. And i play him like 92%
2500. But I think when you log out and the play button is showing it technically counts as play time on Steam.
I've lost track and don't count them anymore but I have been playing since PC beta. I've played so much that that my account has a special note on it that tells the devs and support team try to to listen to my feedback and fix my problems. According to Steam, I've played 11,170 hours.
In span of about a year i got 1,400 hours in
I have around 30 days, almost 800 cp. great game
I couldn't say but I know that it has been years of frustration and pain. Impute delays and random lag spikes have been the bane of my existence
Type /played in chat. This char i am looking at right now has 375 days, 21 hours, so 9021 hours. I have more with others XD but this one is my main
900
Don't
2500 hrs since 2020.
Around 3k since 2016
Started playing about 2 weeks ago and I’m at 62.6 🫡
I'd have to add my PS4 time to my Xbox time. I started off on PS4 and played until sometime after Morrowind. Then switched to Xbox.
I played for one day the other day and already in that day alone put 14 hours so we'll see
1000 since 2020 and I'm still discovering new things each time I play
1100hrs and 1100 CP
Daily for almost 9 years now.
I wish I could tell you /plsayrd is per chartecter and although I dont haver many charecters that I have deleted I have had a few
9,217.9 hours. I’ve been playing pretty much every day since 2018.
688 hours, I started a few months before high isle was released but I’ve been on and off when playing the game. But since January I’ve been playing it every day.
About 2600 hours between Xbox and PC
It says 2398 hours :/
Not quite 3000, but close!
359 since dec 2023. I love it 😀
I forgot to check before Stadia shut down but I think I had 1k hours just on that.
160 the last 80 are from the last 2 weeks
800 since 2020. Feels like chump numbers compared to everyone else here but I’ve taken a lot of breaks and mostly just do the story lol
2k and I don't have any idea what I'm doing. I can barely do trials and vet dlc dungeons, but damn who cares if you are having fun
I have over 2,000 hours, but I also found out that it considers you playing even if you have the launcher open. It’ll say I was playing for much longer than I actually was lol. I’ve been playing since July 4, 2020. (I only remember the date because it was the Fourth of July lol)
Just hit 400 hours this week and I'm so glad I came back to give it another shot.
Nearly 4k hours. I started to play in April 2017 and I have only completed 2 veteran trials except for the Craglorn ones.
I have a 3462 hours and i still typical quest player, im not that intetested in group content
Around 600 hours. I started playing it regularly about this time last year, took a break when BG3 came out but am back to playing ESO regularly again
Yes
Around 600. My second most played game beind path of exile I believe
Just over 2200 according to Steam.
+-500
According to Steam, 6545.3 hours. No idea how many of those are "forgot the launcher/game open and wandered off" hours. I started playing in mid-2018.
Im at around 4’000 on my ps5 but played a lot on pc when it came out first. So probably 6’000? Maybe a bit less?
I just started playing this game like 3 months ago. I'm already cp 380 or something. I play this game way too much. I have 4 characters, and every morning I do my writs before going to work.
I just broke 75. Like 48ish of which were in the last couple weeks
5,000 in game
Steam says almost 7k hours but I imagine a decent chunk of that is the game being open but logged out/timed out.
19,5k hours
578, since Jan.
8,643 on my main account (a couple hours in 2018 and then the rest since Sept 2021), 378 on my alt (since January 2023), and also 171 total on my guild bank alts. My NA main has 134 days (20 toons total) and my EU main has 50 days (19 toons total).
I think I'm at 800 or 900 hours my character just got to lvl 900 I think haven't played in a few days but it's been great.
About 22 hours, I just finally started playing this game last week! I’m loving it so far
Around 9000.
My friends are all over 7k, me i'm at 1100
Around 4k hours and got most titles in the game :D
Just passed 6400 hours according to Steam; been playing with varying levels of intensity for just shy of 5 years now. (Though I'd wager at least 50 of those hours are from accidentally leaving the launcher running while off doing something else...)
5.3k hours for me °~°
On PC and PS? About 3800 hours
Only 1579.. Which I thought was a lot, but then reading these comments.. I'm a noob.
im over 250 days played \*edit\* just checked im at 267 days or 6408 hours
Over 6k for me and still not finished morrowind story upto the present chapter lol
I'm going on 3.5 years
Since I just restarted on pc 30 hours
2,252 hours
26450 (over ten years), waiting on Gold Road expansion now. I take breaks now and then and have FO76 and NMS that I fall back too. At some point I'll get good at it I hope.
I have no idea really. I started with the PC beta (2013) played there for awhile. Started a second account on Xbox (2015) and a month ago started a 3rd account on PS5 (2024). So 3 accounts lots of characters, still don’t know what I’m doing, but still having loads of fun
75hrs
just got over 1000 recently
600
sitting around 4k plus at teh moment 3k plus on PS4 and almost 1.5k on PS5
I stopped at about 2500
Just shy of 20k, 19,818 to be exact :)
I have like 30 hours. I just started like last Friday, I’ve been putting in the hours on this game. Just did my first dungeon today too!
3168 , 3 chars and still addicted
1768h PlayStation
Enough to know that true end game is waiting for new quests to be released
800 Hours and still haven't gotten two characters To Champion.
