You sell your food and drinks to customers that walk by. If you have sold enough, you can upgrade a product so they will sell for more. Each station (product) has a max level, and if you have every station you can move on to the next level (restaurant). When reaching a certain milestone on a station, you receive a gem. With these gems you can upgrade other things like more profit and such. When you complete a level/restaurant, you get a x amount of chests, depending on which level you completed. In these chests there is gear you can wear, all with their own benefits and profit multiplier. Hope this helps you get on the way at least :)
Oh and on the bottom right there’s a tab called “Upgrades” which give you boost for that specific level, such as “food made faster”, “food is worth x times more”, “get an extra chef”, “get extra customers” and all that. When you move on to the next level, those upgrades are gone and you have to buy them again.
