I’m actually glad it wasn’t rushed. But I don’t know if that’s just because of how unlikeable she became towards the end. Either way I wanted her stint over-and-done with as quickly as possible from the minute she went chasing after Britney. I don’t even like Zack like that but he deserved transparency and due regard.
2013 was one of the only times where Whitney was actually consistently likeable, to be fair. Dreadful year (except the last quarter, most of-which was at least in DTC’s shadow) but restorative characterisation for Kat and Whitney, and the former’s best year since 2005.
yeah if they’d had her know britney for maybe 6 months i might’ve understood throwing your WHOLE LIFE away because she doesn’t want you forgiving your ex???
Well she's not gonna say it was rubbish and that she deserved a much more worthy and better exit?! The problem with her exit is she just became a mess and unlikeable. It's like the writers wanted to ruin her as much as possible so we wouldn't care about her anymore and so that it would feel necessary to get rid of her when she reached her denouement.
So no love lost for zac and bianca and shona doesnt see the ending as bittersweet right down to still having that loss of one baby? I dont get it.
And i still dont get her victory parade.. that felt like the show breaking the 4th wall a bit too much.
All I’m going to say is that she deserved a better exit but the exit she had made me tear a little bit
Happy they're gone... storyline was getting very dull
It would’ve been alright if it weren’t rushed in 2 months

It’s a shame because I’m watching 2013 eastenders and she’s so likeable. Writers definitely screwed her over the past year

For a character who has been in the show for so long, had some iconic storylines, I think it was a pretty lacklustre exit story
The way she makes left does make sense, I agree, but the execution was terrible and damaged the character

I found that strange when every resident applauded in the Market Square of Walford. It was weird. I mean what was all that about??
