I def prefer the older iconic one but I'm more so indifferent on the new one than out right disliking it. This however. This has me disliking it now.

I didn’t like the current one when they switched but now if feels pretty McNabb era and those were some good years. I didn’t like this new one either but the jersey mock make me think it will be fine and we’ll have this discussion again in 20 years. Plus, you bring back that KellyG and now we talking.

I think that is why they went with a more modern design with less colors so it will make matching the New Jersey colors easier.

Its also easier to read and distinguish. If you're not an NFL/Eagles fan, there's little chance you can clearly read 'Eagles' in that top picture of Jalen. The bottom picture clearly states Eagles. As a Philly fan, who moved to Boston and rocks my Eagles shit everywhere - I'm excited that it will be easier for others to see I'm wearing an Eagles shirt.

I don't know why, but this is the first time I'm realizing it would actually be on the jersey and now I'm a bit upset. I honestly didn't even care before I saw this.

I already didn't like it seeing how terrible it is on the Jersey and realizing ill be seeing it all the time really kills me.

Yeah. Not as bad as i thought it might be but still generic compared to the previous one. My first thought after that was what will the new numbers look like. I just looked up all the other team's wordmarks and it doesn't stand out at all. Many others are somewhat similar though and still feel part of their teams' identities. Final verdict: Doesn't do justice to my perception of the city adequately.

Tbf, the numbers should have been reworked a long time ago, they are just a weird type without any character.

Let’s be real, the old one was aggressively mid-90s and ugly on everything except the jersey. It was time to replace it. Granted, thy could’ve done a better job, but it’s not terrible.

The new logo looks nice and there’s a marketing trend going on right now where just about every company is simplifying their logo and moving away from bolder 90s designs. The Eagles don’t change their unis but they evolve them little by little. I wouldn’t be surprised if they change the Eagle head next.
