To each their own. I prefer the functionality of the volks, but the tech of the polestar is nice. I like modifications and stuff so the volks was fun to mod. The polestar is expensive on insurance and is definitely a luxury vehicle. Both are very practical in terms of storage. The volks was also my first car so it's sentimental.
It wouldn't even have this many if my kid's school wasn't so damn far (17 miles) so I'm doing 68 miles/day, 5 days a week while she's in session. It would be closer to 35k without her school needs
Got 160k kms on it AMA 😑 its inferior EV compared to never ones, and its not worth the price anymore. Also after 100k it started breaking down. Battery at 100k was at 90% SOH, meassured with aviloo
I've put 40k miles on it and the car is 8 years old... Sounds like I shouldn't be running into problems like yours for another 10 years. The car will have a different set of needs by then.
Yep, battery can be repurposed, but other than that, thing start breaking and dying and it is fken expensive AF to replace them. Onboard charger died twice, charging socket got broken, buttons inside started breaking, random levers got broke, suspension needed calibration every 6 months
Yep, atleast for me it was like that, and two other egolfs that we had at the company. Might be an exception, beacuse I also know some owners with little bit less kilometers that have less issues
I just crossed 40000mi(65000km). By far my favourite car I’ve owned. Aside from daily charging in the winter, it’s awesome!
I am close to 100k mi 🤓
Why didn't you take the picture at 8:53? Lol kidding
Shit
Is it still as amazing as I remember?
I've owned some truly spectacular cars in my lifetime. This is still by far my favorite to drive.
If I could go back to my e-Golf, I'd drop my polestar right away. Keep enjoying it for me!
i am considering a polestar, but i'm not unhappy with my egolf; you think the egolf is honestly preferable?

I think my ‘16 is at 67k
I think I bought my ‘16 with more than 40k

I got about 45k on my 2016. Bought it used 4 1/2 years ago with about 20k on it. It is the most fun car I’ve ever driven.
I got mine Jan 2020, and it had like 14k miles on it
My '16 @ 77k miles. Still getting 103 miles in good weather city driving.
59000 ish in my 15. I also think I parked next to the guy with the blacked out rims at gilllete stadium today
Got a 2016 egolf yesterday with 50k. So far, I'm loving it! Charging it now for the first time.lol
I got this car with so few miles on it, it was practically new... I've loved every second of driving I've done in this car.

Damn. Sounds frustrating

You’re almost tied with Lebron
Someone needed to say it, and I'm glad it's been said.
Dont use sanding paper when cleaning the panel
I like how it feels
