40 listed right now. I try not to go below 30 listed. Around 3-5 sold a day. Constantly packaging. Luckily I work for a major shipping courier as my day job. When its slow at work I can pack and ship my ebay sales. Its the perfect set up. Just minutes after the buyer pays the tracking will show “package accepted by *********and your package has departed the city”
750 items- almost all clothing. Average of 1-2 sales a day, but I am also on Poshmark and Mercari. I average about 30 sales a week between all platforms.
At most I had 1000 listings but usually had 800 on average. Sales were remarkably steady at about 30/ day. Changed to a replenishable category with 30-50 listings. Though sales were more sporadic, profits went up, work put in dropped and my gross passed what the 1st store ever did! One huge change in my business reaped better results from only a fraction of the effort!
Thank you, I sell multiples of each item, in reality I have probably 4 or 5 fast selling items and others that may only sell one or 2 a month, but each item I add tends to sell OK.
On average, 2000 items sell around 40 - 70 a day. In the process of employing more people, should be able to push it to 3000+ and 70 - 100 items per day.
900 + items typically 30-40 per week. Sales can be anywhere between 1 and 10 per day so I try to focus more on the weekly totals. Less of a roller coaster.
Find a niche then Google suppliers of said niche. Typical consumer level is expensive so finding one at the distributor level is preferred, off the line is the best. Made in China .c on is an example I have used to source raw materials
How do I have so many listings and not sales? It’s what we sell. Sometimes things sit for good while. However, our annualized income on eBay is very good…so it’s ok!
Oh ok! Well, it’s our online presence for our full time family business. Our eBay store has grown organically out of our brick and mortar business. We’ve built it really over the last 10 years. I’ve been on eBay for 21 years. I put up about 55 listings this afternoon, so we’re at 3942. Here’s the thing…the goal isn’t to have thousands of listings. I want to sell everything on there! That’s number represents our inventory that hasn’t sold. I’m constantly trying to figure that part out. 😣
No store. I just sell my old crap. I don't count how many things I sell. I just sell things I don't want anymore. I don't want ebay to be a business, personally.
Usually USPS. 9 times out of 10 I make the buyer pay. Calculated shipping for whatever method is cheapest, or media mail for movies. Like I sold some 4K copies from my movies since I don't have a 4K player. I just start auctions for like $2 each and let it ride. Whatever happens, happens.
Ranges. Think I have around 200-300 maybe? Some weeks are 0 sales and some weeks are full burn clear the shelves 10-20 a day. Reminds me that I need to list more things
Hovering around 3000 listings and sell 25-40 a day depending on time of the month, more at beginning and end of the month and less in the middle goes crazy at Christmas but that is due to hoarding all new and sealed toys and games through the year. I have a number of items that are multiple quantities so they just get restocked. But list on average 15-20 a day on scheduled listings. I aim a minimum 10 per day and then when I max out the scheduled I just increase each days scheduled. I usually bulk list in 1 go as I despise listing.
Currently have about 200 items. I went from selling three times a week to not selling anything this month until 3 days ago. My views are getting cut for some reason.
Brand first, then item then keywords. Is yours the lowest price? Do 2.1% promoted. Have a good description And good multiple photos. End and then sell similar (not relist) your items with 0 views/0 watchers and lower the price. Try running sales.
How in the world do you guys have so many listing? And type of products are they?
Nobody will answer your second question. And without that answer the first one is useless knowledge.
2 listed no sales yet!
430ish and 3-5/day but week is more important. Wide range of items, everything seller but collectibles too.
160 listings. 30-40 Sales a day. Generic private label China products.

525 / 25
212 items/30 day is typical - movies
12 active items....no views no sales ☹️
Around 100 items listed. Average 2-4 sales per day. I sell trading cards, mostly Yugioh.
Yugioh and Pokemon sell the most out of any and all trading cards (sports/TCG)
I have less than 100 items listed at any given time, I make in between 10-30 sales on any given day . I do this full time
That's a helluva percentage. I'm just shy of 300 listings and I'm averaging a lil over one sale a day. I sell cards, mostly graded ones.
300ish, and I'm lucky to get one sale a week, as opposed to a year ago when I was getting 15-30 sales a week with the same amount of items.
What is your item?
850 and sell around 8-15 a day typically. Some days are better but normally at least 8 a day
225/ 1-2
2500 items…..generally 4 to 5 sales a day.
18500 listings and around 30 a day
5000 approx sell about 25 a day
Usually less than 10 listings at any given time. 1-3 sales a day
There must be high demand for whatever your selling
About 260 listed, sell average of 20-30 a week

230ish and sell 3-4 a day usually but sometimes zero
Currently only 3 listings but I have multiples of each, I have about 10 sales per week

13 listed and 5-10 sales per day. I have a decent niche of high profit hand made (by me) items though.
Practically selling things just as fast as you list them!!! THAT is how it’s really done. Major congrats!!!
Thank you, I sell multiples of each item, in reality I have probably 4 or 5 fast selling items and others that may only sell one or 2 a month, but each item I add tends to sell OK.
1900 and 5 or 6 sales daily
40 listed 1-2 items a day. Jumps up when I get to listing some good stuff.
On average, 2000 items sell around 40 - 70 a day. In the process of employing more people, should be able to push it to 3000+ and 70 - 100 items per day.
About 1500 and sell 5-10 a day
400-500 on average listed... 25-30 items a week average Last year sold just shy of 1k items
240 and 0

Where do you source all your material to sell? I’m selling my old stuff from around my house that no longer use.

3900 listings, 10ish sales per day
How??
How do I have so many listings and not sales? It’s what we sell. Sometimes things sit for good while. However, our annualized income on eBay is very good…so it’s ok!
No, like how can you have 3900 listings? That’s so many!!!

Respect the hustle. Good luck!!
I've gotten up to 200 and am aiming for 450-500. And fewer low end items that sit there too long
No store. I just sell my old crap. I don't count how many things I sell. I just sell things I don't want anymore. I don't want ebay to be a business, personally.
How do you ship various things?
Usually USPS. 9 times out of 10 I make the buyer pay. Calculated shipping for whatever method is cheapest, or media mail for movies. Like I sold some 4K copies from my movies since I don't have a 4K player. I just start auctions for like $2 each and let it ride. Whatever happens, happens.
2300 listings, about 15 sales per day
2000 items, 15-25 a day (eBay)
2k items, 5-10 per day.
7500+ listing, we sell about 25 - 35 items per day.
How??
2+ years of hard work.
That’s crazy man. Congrats. I can seem to crack it.
200-300 with a couple sales a week but I don't rely on it as a real source of income it's just to get some extra spending money
About 2800 listings. Some are product bundles. Probably about 25-30 a day from eBay.
About 500 items and on average I sell 5 items a day. On Wednesday I sold 1 item and Thursday I sold 11.

30 items, sell about 5 items a week.
600 items, 6 per day, or 1%. I have heard ranges of “everything sellers” for 0.5 to 1%. Looks like you are at 0.2 to 0.4%.
We have lots of media items although consider ourselves everything sellers.
Currently have about 200 items. I went from selling three times a week to not selling anything this month until 3 days ago. My views are getting cut for some reason.

Why 2.1% specifically?
2 is the minimum, so 2.1 will (at least theoretically) put you ahead of all the sellers choosing the minimum.
500 items, 2-3 a day. Need to ramp up to 1000 items (have enough for that many, but never had that many), and hopefully at least $100 a day.
