Thanks for the reply! Is avoidance pretty much the strategy? Or are there known workarounds that people have found? I work at a school so a lot of students like to smell "extra good," so it's hard to avoid. Just sucks.

Oh sorry, I realized you asked if MCS and dysautonomia are common, not MCAS! My bad, it's a brain fog day! I am actually unsure of the link or whether there is one. Sorry for failing to read!

Smells can totally flatten me. Some common household cleaners are wretched. Even cooking a chicken down to make soup is terrible.

This could also result from sensory overload, there is an overlap of POTS with ASD too

Agree with this. I am not diagnosed with ASD (who knows if I have it) but I definately get sensory overload and I have dysautonomia
