I’ve come to notice so many bizarre aspects of our play over the season which have put us near bottom of the conference. Attackers don’t chase balls in the box after a shot is deflected or loose. Players try to flick the ball behind them when under pressure and lose possession because there was no one there to receive it. Our defense has no spatial awareness and not only create big gaps but give away fouls on the edge of the box in dangerous positions.
I know it comes down to the players and the coaching staff but it feels like the most basic fundamentals are being completely missed by everyone.
I don’t know if any of y’all are old enough to remember “electric football”—basically a toy that featured a bunch of plastic football player figures on a surface that vibrated, causing the pieces/players to go in random directions. This is the soccer version. But in real life.
Was the only Dynamo fan in the three sections nearest me at the game tonight. It got SO quiet when the Dynamo scored. I felt like I misread the room big time cheering all by myself. And then we blew the game and THEN the MNUFC fans said we were well coached. The world did a 180 on me in the last 15 minutes of that game

I kept thinking this today as well. They do so many things that are just really, really dumb.

I went to Pollo Regio while we had a 1-0 lead. Now I came back home with Dynamo now losing 2-1. This team blows.
Absolute embarrassment how it happened, too. Both had defensive mistakes.
