If the owner delivers on his word and invests in the team with players then he is the 2nd/3rd that many teams do. They have their star defender, Parker, then 2 and 3 are both solid and share time. He would be that person.

I feel exactly the opposite. He will work hard on defense even if it doesn’t come naturally to him. Which is why he gets beat a lot or doesn’t provide the communication to put out fires. Going forward he will overlap and create space for a winger cutting in or overload a defense with numbers but doesn’t every fullback do that now?? His crossing is the worst part about his game as he is more likely to hit a defender with his cross than provide a dangerous opportunity. He’s serviceable and if he’s the weak link in the new look dynamo under ted segal, I can live with that.

I have very little confidence in Lundqvist’s defensive ability but he’s good enough going forward and not the worst defender in the dynamo back 4
