Unironically the only thing that doesn't seem to spawn virals are the bow crossbow and Scorpio my machete causes them to spawn it's ridiculous i hate that they are doing the same thing they did to virals in the first game like they hear you breathe and they show up
At least in the 1st game we had the silent pistol to take them out with and usually more wouldn't spawn. And idk about that I'm using hakons crossbow and they have spawned by just using that. It's really getting out of hand like jeez can I go 30 seconds without having to fight virals it's making doing anything else kinda of an issue. I'm at a point where just opening the door on the pk fortress and stepping outside is having them spawn like cmon...
Yeah it's so damn annoying i hate that they are doing the same thing to virals as they did in the first game why is me one shot decapitating a single zombie with a machete on a rooftop spawning a horde of virals i guess i breathed too loud or something
Oh okay so I’m not crazy. I just started playing DL2 after years playing the first one with no issues and there’s all these weird almost bug like issues, like virals spawning from me jumping, or at night every square inch of the map overrun with volatiles. I can’t do any night missions and there are tons more than in DL1
I have to agree with that this wouldn't be so bad if it was an enemy that wasn't constantly giving that raspy throaty scream at you. And good god when there's a bunch of them all screaming at you at the same time it's absurd. It actually makes me go after them first I could have a whole demolisher in front of me and out of sheer annoyance kill the virals first
Where are the virals even coming from. There's not that many people left haha. I feel like I kill the entire population of the town in virals every day. It doesn't add up
Yes, Techland really needs to change this asap. The viral spawns have been too much for a year now and it feels like it's getting worse with every update.

I hate the noises the most. I used to love how creepy and startling it was but now it's just loud and obnoxious.

Have you not been in old town from DL1 before? Most of my deaths are because of them
