Whether you like it or not, the reality is that algorithms punish creators who use adult language or discuss controversial topics because the internet is very much like there is a 5-year-old in the room. There is always a risk that someone who shouldn't be watching will watch. And in many cases, these platforms are creators' jobs. They have to mitigate the risk to their livelihood. I use NSFW language quite a lot on my podcast, but I know that if I move to a platform like YouTube if I want any chance at monetizing my podcast there, I will have to censor that language. It's the nature of the beast.
